  • hey pete, good job...how are the exp guitars compared to the american made reactors ??

  • @djdonnie68 exp stands for export--go figure, when the went the korean way they really went down hill... Take it easy. Pete

  • @swrnc thanks pete, that's kinda what i figured...when something says "crafted in usa" that usually means the parts were made somewhere else and just assembled here...thats a shame because the usa made predators and reactors were great guitars !!

  • That's looking pretty good mate.

  • That would cut really easy with a small band saw, Pete.

Then again, I would make a pattern for it, and cut it out with my Samco Mini Router. Which would also do a good job on the pick up. It has a pneumatic plunge control with a foot pedal, and precision depth adjustments. From what I have seen on youtube and elsewhere, a lot of Luthiers use a similar machine.

Love to watch you work, Pete. That's going to be sweet when you are finished.

  • @FloridaMustangMike Yeah, theres alot of neat tools Id like to have, but can't afford it, I try to get by with what I got, It's not gonna be perfect, but on the other hand Im not perfect so be it.... The foot controled router sounds pretty cool Im gonna check into it.. Pete
