Sorry that I cannot prove that fact. I watched on CNN how Destiny's Child sang for Bush at an Inauguration Ball in 2001. At an interview Beyoncé told CNN that she was glad about a president finally being from Texas again.
Three years later, in a coverage on CNN (but also in all newspapers and magazines) it was made a list about what VIP would vote for which candidate: Bush or Kerry? (Guess who had fewer fans.) And Beyoncé was reported to be such a proud Texan, who ought to vote for Bush.
