Bill Richardson fights illegal Indian Casino

I think this is great and I'm glad that they decided they didn't want a drain on their economy. A casino is not a product, nor does it produce anything. A casino is bascially a drain on the local people that live in the area. People that are addicted comprise less than 30% of the players but contribute over 70% of the revenue. If you want to see what this looks like go to any major town that has had issues with immigration, and hit the barrio. All the money is gone and the area is a shit-hole.

This is BS!!! Fort Sill owns this land and why dont they ask the people who live in that area if they want jobs? Governor Richardson is agaisnt this casino because they unlike the casinos here they feel that they shouldn't share money with the state. Its all about money. I agree I think the state should butt out. Tired of these politicians acting like they know what we want and acting like big brother protecting us from the big bad wolf.

OK, maybe I took that the wrong way, but I do not believe in devils and hell. I think racism in this country is pretty rediculous. I live in OK, and some of these people still think about black-white relations like its the civil war era. Sometimes, man, I feel like I'm regarded as "one of them" just because there are so many racist white assholes and so relatively few black people around here. So I can partially see where your coming from, but I definitely disagree. They're both old stereotypes
