Reading tutorials can be both boring and time-consuming cos u have to read word by word. That's why I prefer watching videos like this cos I can watch and try to copy exactly what the artist had drawn in the picture. In the process of doing so, I can spot my mistakes and I re-draw again until I achieve near-perfection like the one in the video. That's how I learn.

@zack12crysis Thumbs down. He can draw using pencil and paper, its just easier to record your art when your using photoshop. Also, digital is the way that art is headed, man. Its quick, its still technically hand drawn, and it won't fade. The industry needs digital art.

OK, first things first, this is a great tutorial. It can really help you out, if you're beginner in drawing eyes.

But. One of the joy of drawing/ observing drawings is that every folk here and there has his/ hers own, unique style in which [that person] lines will be drawn. Thus i can't fully see her style here. Maybe too brutal, but it's just a set of generic program lines.

sycra, you are probably one of the most helpful people I've seen on youtube. I have had constant trouble drawing the shape of the eye, and within 10 seconds of the video it was cured because of your shape you draw as a guideline before you even draw the eye. Not only that but now I know where to shade around the eye. I truly respect you and your videos.

First of all, pencil and paper are not what brings the emotion to a drawing, it is the image in the artist's mind, and they're free to create that image in whatever way they choose. I'm seriously so sick of these "pencil and paper = soul/emotion" comments.

Secondly, these videos are a great way to learn. If you get nothing out of it, then I don't know how to help you. Are you seriously interested in drawing?

Change the song to what is was before. i cant explain the sound. it made you feel good but then slowly made you feel sad, but the saddness you felt you could understand why you felt that. so u were happy to let saddness of the song keep going.
