hi GOOD work,hoping u could b ov an assistance,is this better than the fantom g-b?

hope2hear back.my reason4asking is i love the voice function but i dont thing the g-8 has that but like the way u can stretch out the drums on g-8 as in make them deeper or more short n snappy,which i dont thing this has:(plus the g-8 seems simple2work with,and the recording function n how u can save multiple sets n then slam them all2gether.

is their a synth work station that has all this2offer? kind regards.

Can you create your own like set-list... idk how to say it but can you arrange certain synths so you can pan through them. Like take 20 of your fav synth sounds and put them in a patch or something.

I just got this keyboard, V-SynthGT 2.0 .. I have been playing for over 30 years this is the most radically different synth , Out there to day. I have played them all .. Thank you for great video post !!! This is one reason I now have this Synth.. But to tell you playing this synth live in my studio the sound WOW !!! one problem getting through the great patches of sounds LOL the first day I only got to patch 62.. UNREAL !! ive been thinking to purchase a radically different synth method keyboard , the v-synth v2 is on my budget, but, after hearing demos, reading the user manual, i still have not fully clear what the V-synth is... these long pads demos only confuse me more,

Does the V-Synth have internal/built-in speakers as many of the yamaha synths has?

Or is it just for use with computers and amplifiers and mixers and stuff?

@robbzkel No, you have to use some external amplifiers, headphones or speakers. It has no biult-in ones.

Despite using Sennheiser headphones, im not sure if Youtube is doing this thing justice. I've got a Triton MOSS board and im still waiting to hear something that can touch it (in the price range bracket).

the patch at 6:10 sounds exactly like the synth effect that Richard Barbieri uses on his v-synth for the band Porcupine Tree. I'm not sure what song it is, but is sounds and is played the same exact way. Was this intentional?

Yes, it's the riff from Heartattack in a layby from the "In Absentia" album, I did it on purpouse.. :)

The patch from 05:04-06:07 sounds like Pink Floyd (Any Colour You Like).. Is this a preset on the V-synth v.2, or is it a patch you made yourself? If it's a preset, what number (patchname) does it have?

I modified the minimoog preset!! I did it opening the sound and adding delay, check us on space4keys, there is a PF collection for Kurzweil and many other interesting things! :)

??? I think you have to owverwrite the existing patches... you have 8 palettes rapid memory banks, but I don't think there is a "user memory" or something like that..

id used most of the better presets in scoring stuff and just found it a bit unrewarding to program , so got rid of it.
