  • heavy gloves, what a great idea, I can just imagine how this would pacify the average golfer's hand action especially when chipping, great product idea someone has had there

  • Hi ya Shawn, what do you think is the best training aid for jus purely getting a nice consistent swing?

  • The best is your own body! :) Really! I use the "perpetual motion drill" (see my video by that same title) and combine this drill with the "Feet together Drill", the "One Leg Drill", the "On the slopes" shots, the "Short Game" and the putting; you use awareness to feel the different aspects of the body movements during the drill because it is continuous it is much easier to do than one swing at a time; Thanks for the question! Shawn

  • The Ympact is awsome! Holy Smoke It really helps keep you (well me anyway) in form through the ball and into the finish.. Practice with This thing with the braced tilt = Smash Factor

I realized i was chicken winging a bit.. but this thing snaps you out of it.. yay!

  • Hey shawn, I ordered a Ympact. I didn't even look ,lol are those aids universal? as i'm a lefty....if not i guess i bought a great gift for my nephew lol

  • Never mind i found out . A few Adjustments and it will be ready for us leftys.

  • Yes, it works great!

  • Shawn,

First off, thank you for all of your youtube lessons. You have helped me more than you will ever know.

I do this same drill with wrist weights and it has helped immensely. Thanks again.

  • Great Tip!

    Just for everyone to read though, make sure they are not too heavy; 1 pound is plenty and I would not exceed 2 pounds...I do not want anyone hurting their shoulders as they are difficult and painful in rehab;

    Thanks for the comment! Shawn

  • Shawn another great video!

i have watched most if not all of youre youtube videos i also have youre dvd's...Man thanks ...you have really transformed my game , i'm finally getting backspin and i can't believe it, i wasn't going for that ,it just started to happen.. thank you again shawn for being a great communicater and instructor.

  • Thank you for writing in!

    Shawn

  • Shawn great vid. I really can appreciate the way you explain things. I have taken some lessons before but I feel they always fall short of communicating the knowledge and how to's of the game. But to watch your lessons and follow along, its great I went and bought a driving mat and 7 by 7 net set it up in the garage with my laptop and were learning. Awsome job thanks for what you do, keep it up. Tom..... PS Where did you get the forearm thingy

  • It is called "True Ympact" give it a google and it will get you to the site; same spelling as I wrote here...

    Thanks for the great comment!

  • I don't understand what the 2nd training aid is suppose to do.

  • It helps you feel the right release of the club through the ball without the collapse; with many of my students, it helped them clear better because it did not allow them to chicken wing past the ball; also a terrific tools for short game as it keeps the arm unit from collapsing and intuitively tells the body to turn properly so that there is no collapse...Shawn

  • nice tips about arms falling from shoulders, so fundamental but easy to miss amongst everything else.

  • We in western Canada must be coming out of our long cold winter.Once again I feel the pull of the highly informative and well communicated Shaw Clement Youtube videos that I've become so dependant on throughout the golf season. Keep it up Shawn! (the vids,I mean) good job!

  • Thanks Boardhead! I will! More good stuff on the way!

    Shawn

  • Shawn, as usual, excellent video.
