  • Correct! People post here to be seen. I don't need to, I have nothing to prove, my ego doesn't need stroking. My teachers aren't on here. Wonder why? Wonder why the best of the best aren't on here by their hand. They don't need it. The truth does not need defending while fraud is damaging to individuals and societies. Good enough for me. If the kid is related you may want to ponder things. If you are his teacher, shame on you, he is a kid and knows no better.

  • @IEKUKATAKA

NO he is a kid that trains in the same system that I do. His teacher is professor Lou Ferrer..You should lead by example. Have people see what you mean rather then listen to what you say because you are just taken as most people. ALL MOUTH. Which doesn't amount to anything. I recommend before you pass judgment you demonstrate. if not, it is probably best to keep you derogatory comments to yourself. otherwise you become a typical keyboard warrior with no merit. .

Respond to this video...If you don't need to be seen , Why do you need to comment ?To be seen or heard indirectly? Just watch and enjoy, or watch and not enjoy then move to the next video.

  • looks like a bastardized ''Empi", but the kid is very athletic.

  • @NewEnglandBudo

What makes it bastardized as you call it?

  • @shonufff30 The old English term "bastard" means a child born out of wedlock. This kid is very athletic, but some of his techniques would get him killed on the street. We traditionalist strive to practice our kata to enhance our bunkai (practical application). This kata appears to be a combination of Shotokan's Empi & Kanku . Both kata that I do in the Shorin variant Shorin Ryu that call them Wansu & Kusanku. I take the road to keep the bloodline pure, where this young man seems to create his

  • @NewEnglandBudo My friend your opinion or view or whatever you want to call it couldn't be further from the truth. He teacher is professor Lou Ferrer. One of the best Ju-Jitsu practitioners in NY. This kid can clearly protect himself. It's been proven already they are from Brooklyn NY. There is nothing but fights out there.

  • @chozn11 No, the opinion is dead on, this is nontraditional athleticism. Don't care who his professor is, it isn't karate. Being from Brooklyn means he is likely from New York only. You just don't get it and don't want to get it. Karate has an identification indigenous to Okinawa and this demonstration falls terribly short. Good athlete though, not karate, not a martial art just a kicking and punching activity. If his teacher says it is karate he is a wrong, plain and historically simple truth.

  • @IEKUKATAKA

1st of all who said anything about Karate? He is a Ju-Jitsu practitioner who is doing a altered Shotokan Kata. This kid travels around the country and world and wins in both tradition and nontraditional katas. grand Champion mind you. So I guess there are a lot of people who judge him who don't agree with you.

  • @chozn11 A lie is still a lie no matter how many believe it. Well, it sure as smoke isn't Ju-Jitsu and please tell me what altered Shotokan is? You people can come up with the most creatively twisted justifications. You don't happen to write for Obama do you? There are tons that don't agree with the truth and they are the same people with lofty titles, fraudulent credentials, fat wallets, your money and no traditional skills. 46 years sees a lot, pulls no punches and hopes the deceived will see.

  • @IEKUKATAKA Be that as it may. Fact. he travels around the world and wins. Both Traditional and Non traditional. If you like ask him to post traditional Kata, Im pretty sure he will. Bottom line, this kid is a gifted and very talented Martial Artist. Lets not forget he is still a kid. I'm pretty sure at your best (if you ever trained you would look nothing like this kid at 17 like he is or now at 46 where you are. Post yourself doing a form so we can see how good your credentials are.

  • @IEKUKATAKA

I see from your profile you have many years of training. So again. Since this doesn't meet your standards, post yourself and show us what a traditional form looks like.

I didn't think you would. End of discussion.

  • Looks like the Shotokan kata Empi
