  • My son was diagnosed when he was 7, he is now almost 18. He is the most wonderful, most talented young person. He has endured many obstacles in his teens, people who just don't understand, lack of friends and difficulties at school.

However, with the support of his brother, grandparents and teachers, that never gave up on him he is finishing his final year of school.Hoping to go into Digital Media and express himself through his art.

I agree with you...NEVER GIVE UP...and they are AMAZING... :):)

  • thanks for posting this video.....

my son is waiting for a diagnosis

... they say it might be adhd or aspergers

    never heard aspergers before now

  • thank you- it is so nice to know that there is someone else out there that gets it! My son is 7 and was recently diagnosed with Asperger's we are just learning how to help him and the med are not working yet so far there have been 4 different ones. School is really hard and his day usually ends in a phone call for us to pick him up for hurting someone in his class...thanks for the encouragement

  • I just wanted to thank you so much for posting this video. My son Dominick was just diagnosed earlier this week with Aspergers, and your explaination of how there was "something different" about Owen is exactly how we felt. I'm 25 years old and at first the Doctors kept dismissing my explaination of his "meltdowns" as my inability to handle or discipline my child. It was incredibly relieving to finally get the diagnosis. Thank you for showing the world how amazing these kids are!
