  • @doublethumpbass89 yes it was best picture, the academy said so. the oscar's aren't open for public vote. the oscar voters decided hurt locker was the best, so it won best picture. deal with it.

  • @Malcham7 she use to be his ex-wife LOL

  • @Timcookie321 I know that but I'm just tellin the facts

  • It's not "another war movie" - you obviously haven't watched it

  • A lot of soldiers from my family and friends of mine that are soldiers said that this movie is very accurate.

  • My favorite military/ combat film. "Saving Private Ryan" and "Platoon" fall right beneath this one. @ fjwjr, I was in the army from 1990 to 1998 and it definately captured the mind state of a soldier who is deployed. As far as the technical inaccuracies you just have to understand when a movie is made it has to go at a certain pace in a certain time frame or the story gets lost. This movie had so much heart.....I didn't feel anything when I saw "Jar head" so I do get where your coming from.

  • like what? Please explain all these inaccuracies to the rest of us... i seem to have missed them All.

  • @themancalledzac Well, for starters, in 2004 nobody in theater had those uniforms or body armor. ( remember all the politicalfallout from a lack of body armor?) Also, there was very little turret shielding and NOBODY drove around cities or the countryside in single Hummvee patrols never mind splitting up a team and running down alleys alone. Hadji vendors were NEVER allowed to drive their vehicles onto a base. (ever heard of a car bomb?)

  • @fjwjr Really? I have heard ALOT of soldiers saying how realistic this is and how its the best film to capture what its like to be at war.

  • @StaticID You either made that up or they were soldiers who never left a base.

  • Damn she's fine
