I loved this song because it shows so well the other side of the story, you don't often see a sympathetic portrayal of a the mistress's side of the situation. When I was cheated on everyone got all hot and bothered that I was not out to get the girl he cheated with. But I never blamed her because you really can't help who you fall in love with. He was being extremely unfair to both of us by splitting his affections, so I can really empathize with this song's message.
Sometimes a song is just a song, but when it deals with a real-life situation where one person commits an infidelity and the other person has been deeply wounded and possibly emotionally scarred for life, then it's only natural to let your feelings show. So for this video I give it 2 thumbs way up. I love this song so much. It is so heartfelt and it also shows that its not only non-famous people who get hurt but also the rich and famous. She was hurt by her husband who left her for another woman. I am glad she sang about something real this time.

I loved this song because it shows so well the other side of the story, you don't often see a sympathetic portrayal of a the mistress's side of the situation. When I was cheated on everyone got all hot and bothered that I was not out to get the girl he cheated with. But I never blamed her because you really can't help who you fall in love with. He was being extremely unfair to both of us by splitting his affections, so I can really empathize with this song's message.

Sometimes a song is just a song, but when it deals with a real-life situation where one person commits an infidelity and the other person has been deeply wounded and possibly emotionally scarred for life, then it's only natural to let your feelings show. So for this video I give it 2 thumbs way up. Someone out there somewhere is getting hurt right now and the only way to get over the pain is to cry it all out and try to pick up the remaining pieces of their lives and move on.

i heard this one time on the radio and felt compelled to post a comment here 'cuz I also had a secret affair w/ a guy who was married w/ children. HE was the one who made the move first-FUCK- and stupidly, i fell for him. What was worse is that we're both guys and so i forced myself to break up with him before his wife finds out cuz I know it's damn wrong to have a relationship with someone who's already married. But damn it!!!- it hurts a lot and I think I love him.
