  • he is a true Genius

the theatrical element of his work is huge

    the sensitivity and style immense

the costumes he appears in at the end of his shows are so sweet crazy

  • I love Judaism... ...BUT ISRAEL IS A THEIF AND MURDERER IN IT'S OWN RIGHT! Praise Judaism BUT CURSE ISRAEL! Zionism is a POLITICAL MOVEMENT. It has NOTHING to do with religeon. ...but Israel PRETENDS to "speak for all jews" in order to curry favour. Tell the truth and they will scream "ANTI-SEMITE" as loud as they can. Then they are LIARS! Praise Judaism, CURSE ZIONISM. All the best. ;)
  • does anyone knows the name of that song at beginning?

  • @yadran77 This is a really late reply lol. But try looking up Jack U Off by Robyn.

  • this is probably my favourite galliano show, his shows for christian dior are amazing also especially the recent ones that are filmed in the house of dior

  • He's a sheer crafted genius a true legend and visionary of are time this is an outstanding beautiful collection!! I think it really celebrates women an femininity which lacks in this day an age I would love to walk down the street were one of those dresses and not give a dam what anyone else thinks of me :)

  • wow some of the dresses are gorgeous..

  • Garbage?! Seriously fuckhead? John Galliano is a genious, his clothes aren;t garbage. And obviously people wear it, or he wouldnt design it...

    so go die

  • its funny how at these fashion shows they are always so weird and pretentious and you never see people wear garbage like this out in public in the real world lol

  • you are such a scum. those fashion shows are the impression of artists. their clothes of course are not for fuckers like you. it's art.

  • Have you EVER seen ONE person in public wearing clothing like this ? Tell me ???????

  • No, of course I have not. It's ART. Those fashion shows are like museums that exhibit paintings or something and those paintings usually are not in common households, too, are they? Do you now understand? Those clothes were not created for wrearing them day-to-day but to exhibit the artist's inspirations and creations of art.

  • Isn't the purpose of being a designer to design clothes that people want to wear? I find shows like these to be nothing but pure pretentious trash. Please further explain what the point of these shows are ?

  • hmm I'm german and it is a little hard to explain it in english, but I'll give it a try: I don't know what else to say.. This is haute couture and it's not supposed to be worn day-to-day but rather an idea of an artist or an inspiration a creation or whatever you wanna call it referring to fashion. an overdone sculpture in a museum of modern art is not supposed to be in a common household too, it just shall demonstrate something the artist wanted to emphasize you know?

  • ok thanks

  • I wrote another comment and I don't know if you did read it. please have a look o.o

  • of course the designers create collections that "common" people want to wear, too, but like I said those haute couture fashion shows are only for the exhibition of an artist's inspiration. surely everything is overdone and so on, but that's the subject; the appearance. furthermore the "common" clothing gets its inspirations of haute couture fashion shows. like very big bags. please don't call it trash, you may have no use for it, but either you like this art or you don't sorry for insulting you.

  • Have I ever seen someone wear a similar clothing piece in public? No. No doubt that is because what is exhibited on the runway is rarely immediately transfered to the public. And if everyone was submitted to YOUR opinion of clothing we would most likely all dress in the same boring manner. That is like demeaning a genre of music because you don't enjoy it; others do, it isn't all about you, you, you, and you.

  • YES. IT. IS.

  • That idea is laughable at the very least. If "it" IS all about you than why have I not heard of you once before? Why is it that no significant fashion figure has asked for your opinion of their line of work? Why is it that no one asks for your opinion of fashion at all? Because to be quite frank if it was all about you than these people of fashion would give a damn about you. But they don't. Lose your "high-horse" mentality.

  • you dunno my true identity sweetie pie

  • I am sure that your "true identity" is quite disappointing. An impassioned patriot with a somewhat cloying image of a cartoon dressed as a recruitment image with the words "Try and stop us"? You are obviously not accustomed to fashion in the least. And please do not try and make yourself out to be someone of importance. I don't need to know your true identity "sweetie pie", I can look you up and down and see that you aren't worth any of my time.

  • It's all a Facade sweetie pie, didn't your whore of a mother ever tell you not to judge a book by its cover...silly woman.

  • You certainly are amusing, if not somewhat saddening. The effort that you put forth to make yourself out to be someone of importance (on Youtube no less) is quite charming (in a petty sense of the word). A facade? How absolutely idiotic. What your channel promotes and glorifies is no facade and both you and I know it. A real adult would not make up such horribly counterfeit stories. And I think the charming note about my mother was thoughtful, yet desperate. Running out of logical insults?

  • The only thing that is saddening is your pretentious attitude towards fashion...may I ask...what have you done of importance in your lifetime ?

  • Pretentious? I would like to think that I am able to keep my emotions in check, although when talking to someone with little logic or reasoning, who continues to feign significance, at times I will act pretentious, yes. And if my memory serves I asked you that very question in my second comment. It would only be rude to answer your question without you first answering mine. Are you willing to ask but not answer?

  • Fair trade. In all honesty I'm a drug addicted college student...thats on summer break....and im in my house alone....all of my roomies are at home...and noones on campus....soo im bored out of my mind and have dived into the youtube underground to pass time till next semester....I only heard on Galliano on another youtube video called "Boring-The Pierces".....I know nothing about fashion(I just find this pretentious)......

    Now, who are you ?

  • I attend school at the New York City School of Design, I work as an intern (meaning that I am paid very little and must work very hard), and live in a terribly small and aged apartment complex where the police have visited several times due to my neighbors drug habits. To be honest I am beginning to dislike fashion very much and would rather work in law enforcement with my brother but my "whore mother" does not agree. I have an opinion of fashion but I would rather not design at all. Fair?

  • BIZZARE : LOL

  • well really it depends what "public" we are talking about - going to a BIG FANCY BALL ? you just might- going to the supermarket-

    NO!

  • Really? In this show they promote pea-coats, blazers, jewelry and hair pieces shaped like flowers, ect. I've seen a lot of that sort of thing in public and at the grocery store as well. No, people don't walk down the street wearing "ball gowns", that was never my point.

For example, Givenchy created the "stud" trend but some of the cloths were outlandish as well. People take certain aspects and pieces from the show and translate them to the street. You take things much too literally.

  • i was addressing T4NZs comment that s/he never saw people wear this "garbage" on the streets

i know the diff between street wear and haut couture that was my point in the first place - focus please thank you

  • I LOVE U JOHN GALLIANO

  • this was such an amazing show to see i love how the models are so playful, its a great change to see this was a wonderful piece of art

  • naomi mentioned steven at 3:16.

    who's he?

  • Steven Robinson. Galliano's chief designer who passed away in 2007.

  • I absolutely love Galliano, everything he does is beautiful, attention grabbing and original, yet reminiscent of well-loved styles!

  • I wanted to like Galliano, but I can't fake it like that.

  • I am too distracted by the odd hairstyles and the other accessories to notice the fashion. Well I tried to watch it more than once and I couldn't. Well the see through(peek a boo) done before and better. Too trailer park.

  • i just like this show very much!

what a crazy and amazing ideal!

  • amazing.

please check out my work inspired by this show at:

    thewolfgang (dot) etsy (dot) com

    the piece entiled 'apple'

    :D xx

  • he is an artist!I love him!!

  • I love him

  • Same, I would like to marry him very muchly!!

    His designs are just spectacular!!

  • I would assume the reason for him not using black models is because he wanted to show a very french feel. And there were no blacks during the olden French times. However, I would have loved to see some black models. After all, the show reminds me of candy and what is more delicious than chocolate, caramel, and honey!! ;)

  • why must people always see the model and how skinny and unhealthy they are rather than the art of the fashion which is supposed to be the main point? i see more quarrels about anorexic models than the actual truth of this whole fashion show! all models are like than anyway! if you dont want to be anorexic, then dont be a model!! John Galliano is BRILLIANT!! he is my favourite designer because his designs are eye catching and elegant! <3

  • Dita Von Teese really needs to stop, she's not a fashionista, I have no idea why they keep polling her for almost every other show.

  • Because she stands out as creating her own style. I can't think of many that replicate her style. But she is more of a personality not a celebrity or fashionista or anything..

  • Chanel was in this show and she is most definatly black..so i don't see why anyone is throwing race cards here. Galliano always uses a variety of models just because there are not a ton of other ethnicities does not make him a racists. Look at other collections, many touch a variety of ethnicities, including blacks and asians.

  • Why is it racism because there are no black models. This black/white paranoia is the problem. Why look for something that might not be there. If Galliano feels he doesn't want black models, why should he apologize? There are plenty of black shows that don't have white people on them. I don't hear them apologizing to whites.

  • @Handiman544

because the ratio [of all black casted shows to all white shows]does not compare at all! the fact that most big designers would rather not have black girls sets a standard of accepted descrimination

  • @Handiman544

...all the sheep like YOU just repeat the same thing, basically saying 'why rock the boat' because it dosent affect you . its wrong because passing up people based on their ethnic look, NOT based on lack of skill or experience is recial descrimination.

its digusting and so is your ignorence

  • @Handiman544

...all the sheep like YOU just repeat the same thing, basically saying 'why rock the boat' because it dosent affect you .

  • there should be some black and asian models. there the best. but im still proud to be white

  • wow! not a single fat model!

  • wow not a single asian model :D

    but he is still good

  • Are you Korean?:) G-dragon!!!!!!!!!! 낄낄

  • wow...not a single black model.

  • Is there a problem with that?

Designers have the right to choose models that best show their works. Maybe John doesn't think black models fits his spring collection.

  • gosh im just saying my opinion. u seem like some kind of person who thinks he knows everything about fashion when really u dont! wannabe loser!

  • yeah there is a lot of reflected racism in fashion also. Its f'ed up and we need to unite around struggles that combat racism and classism. I dont know why a black model (ie. maybe tyra could have been up in there). Does he ever use ANY non white models?

  • THANK YOU! someone who understands.

  • Just P.E.R.F.E.C.T.

  • anyone know what the first song is?

  • he's such a legend. i love the way he's so exciting and not just based around boring shapes and colours. i really want a party to go to so i can dress up in my john galliano outfit

  • This one is a good connection. I'm impressed.

  • john galliano has always been my favourite designer and this spring collection shows why... he`s clothes are feminime and cute and so different to the simple cuts which are modern now...i love it!

  • A-mazing. really. wish i was rich so i could get them all!

  • john galliano is a genius! love him!

    the makeup...brilliant!...the clothes...marvelous!

    *applause*

  • does anybody know the name of the song at the end of the show?

  • take me to the clouds above by LMC vs U2

  • shut up fatty.

    this is fashion.

  • lol

  • I LOVE the fact that you think im fat because I made comment about skinny people, and you prolly think im ugly too, bc im actually skinny and used to be a model!!! Typical.

  • blahhh blahh blahh then dont talk shit

  • Shut Up Dude Fashion Is a Way Of Expression

And If u Dont Like It Stop Wearing clothes How Bout That

    Fashion Rocks

  • I used to be a model and dress just like the models in GQ but I wised up to the philistines in that business and am now anti-fashion. I'm sitting here in my Fruit of the Loom ginch so am almost nude.

  • Very Feminine.

  • more gilry than femine, i think

  • What beautiful designs! He embraces the art and imagination with his collection's.Beyond contemporary.Witty and completely feminine.

  • naomi campbell will try and squeeze into those outfits. How funny. try a little harder naomi, cuz my thigh won't even fit into one. Maybe you should lose some weight, where could it come off tho? Maybe we should have inverted breasts?

  • It'll probably come out of her sausage lips.

  • i love the colors!!! ^^,
