  • What editing software do you use?

  • @Gloppy605 For this I used a few programs, for the effects I used FXhome, and for the music and titles, I used Ulead.

  • Could u please tell me how u got the dino behind part of the green screen background?

  • @Dinozilla626 , Sure I can. It was by using what is known in film as a "matte" (or a mask). Basically you select a region on the backplate image which you can then move infront or behind another film object.

  • @TheCyberController Sorry for taking so long, but thank you very much. That has answered a lot of questions I ask myself.

  • When do you think youll be done with your next film? I cant wait to see it!

  • Well...I wouldn't hold your breath for it. It might be some time. I'm doing work for uni in the next 6 weeks, so I have no time. I might have time after uni finishes. I was thinking on making a few new puppets and filming the process of making them, just to help people out.

I might finish a film sometime next year at about a similar time to when I finished Nightmare-a-saurus this year. So keep tuned and thanks for asking. It's always nice to hear that people enjoy my films.

  • Cool.

  • awsome

  • Thank you

  • OH WOW! It looks like u put a lot of effort into making this! :D

  • Thanks, I try to put all my effort into most things I do.

  • Thanks,

I got the legs behind the dirt and the head in front by a series of what are know as video "masks" or "mattes"... If you want to know more about the process just look at some of the instructional videos on FxHome in the support section.

  • nice model. It's an Allosaur right? Anyways helpful lesson.

  • Oh I forgot to mention I have swine flu, or at least I think I have swine flu.

  • Very sorry to hear that, I hope you get better. It's a naste virus...lets hope your T cells and B cells can deal with those protein wrapped DNA strands.

  • ha ha. dont worry i'm on the road to recovery. thanks

  • Thanks for your nice comment. It's actually based off a daspletosaurus. Although the theropods did all look very similar. The way you can tell between tyrannosaurids like daspletosaurus and allosarids like allosaur is the number of phalanges. The dinosaur in the video has 2, which means it's a tyrannosaurid of some kind. Although I understand it would be easy to mix any theropod up.

  • oh i see. i didn't notice it had two fingers (I have horrible vision). thanks for clearing that up.

  • I wouldn't say you have horrible vision....more like my video camera has a bad video sensor...I really should get it fixed.

  • very impressive 5/5

  • Thank you

  • that has to be your best dinosaur yet! awesome video.

  • Thank you. I hoped the dinosaur would look good as it took me about a month to make!

  • nice little film, once again great animation work, your models are very good.

  • Thank you

  • the model is magnificent!

  • Thank you :)

  • that dino looked AWESOME!!!!!

  • Thanks...I hope it can be in a future film of mine.
