@benzlover...I seem to have accidentally "disapproved" your comment...my apologies...I viewed it on my phone, and I think when I zoomed it to make the print bigger, my finger hit the wrong button...
@benzlover...For a long time I felt like I was driving around with a loaded gun...the video still doesn't come CLOSE to how loud they are in person. I gave them a quick toot in the parking lot at work one day and it startled a coworker so much he tossed coffee on himself!
Now THAT would be AMAZING! The K3LA isn't physically that large (at least in length)...that really would be a scream! I'd buy one to put in my wife's smart car! LOL
@danwat1234, @hst101rox, I knew that quite some time ago...Hornblasters are obvioiusly resellers. For me, the benefit is that the entire system is packaged as a complete kit, with nothing left to guesswork. Hornblasters does a very good job in the customer-service area too. I've always had top-notch response from them on any question I may have had.
FYI These horns were designed and are manufactured by a company named 'Buell Air Horns'. Hornblasters just resells them, but they don't want u to know this..
FYI to anyone viewing, these Shocker train horns were designed and are manufactured by Buell Air Horns, and for some reason the word 'buell' is censored on trainhornforums. Just go to the Buellairhorns website and click on the "AUTO" tab. Auto for automobile..
Hornblasters sure does make a great train horn kit with everything you need but they shouldn't hide the manufacture of these horns.
LEGIT! I just got a compact horn rated for 139 Db, and a train horn rated for 154.1 Db at 125 psi. I hope it is something like this. I have a ford f150 so I have a little more room than you do.
@WHATtheDOCordered...if the set you ordered are the Hornblasters ones like I have here, I can assure you that the video does them NO justice as to how absolutely overpoweringly loud they are compared to the Wolos. Setting them off in that little car is kinda like cranking up a good subwoofer...it'll flat blow you away!
lol train horns on a smart car!
