I LOVE your videos!! 2 months now of growing out my relaxer and I've grown 3.5cm of my natural hair and once it's long enough, I def. am going to heat train it. I wish you could've been my sister or something so you could do my hair!
When you first started heat training, how many time did you heat train before you considered your hair "heat trained" or how many times did it take you to get that texture?
you're becoming my favorite youtuber. I can't go on just doing wet styles on my natural because i keep getting knots and such. I really want to stretch out my natural hair to make it easier to do
@TheNaturalBaby - I transitioned with the BTK. The treatment started the training process and then about a year ago I started to train my roots as they came it without the BKT.
@blackmasterpeice - Yes, that is what I usually do. I turn the iron up from anywhere to 320 to 400 degrees. I am using Keracare Restorative DC a the moment.
@Brittanynic16 when you do the 20 passes of the iron on the roots at 450, is your hair usually at the desired texture just from that? Or does it take more flat-iron sessions? If so, about how many and at what temp? Thanks in advance!
@blackmasterpeice - When training at 20 passes I have to do multiple treatments to get to the desired texture. I takes me about 3 sessions to get the results I want. I always train at 450 degrees.
when you rinse your hair daily for a week do you find the texture of your hair losing its heat trained texture and reverting back to its natural texture? hope that question makes sense.
@shannab00xo - Heat training is permanent so I it's always the same. Please see my video "Wet Hair Lets Compare" if you'd like to see how my hair is wet.
I really love your hair this way. How long have you been natural? I will be checking out more of your videos because my daughter is transistioning and I want to be able to do more with her hair especially as she get's older. She will be 10 in January and I want her to feel more like a girly girl instead of wearing platts and braids all the time. Thank you for the video.

When u said u flat iron every 2 weeks, is that everyday for two weeks or 1 a week for 2 weeks, cuz everyday sounds like a lot of damaging.

@trickmami01 - I mean 1 time in 2 weeks.
