I can't help that I like strategy games and love to think and to these guys I'm not playing for fun? The most ridiculous part was that this guy was around 40 or something. I stopped going all together.

Ok so get this, we also have the insanely obese guy who is the most annoying guy ever and always comes to play. One time, he decided to give my friend holden 2 dollars for a booster if he got to keep one of the figs, so holden says ok. Opens it up, fat guy runs over, takes the super rare sandman and the peter parker, runs, gets in his car, comes back up, takes the cards, then leaves. We still have nightmares of the event to this day....

That said, if a venue is full of power players, you have to do what you have to do in order to have even a shot at winning. Otherwise it would be no fun.
I would suggest not letting people get to you so much. Screw 'em. If they make fun of you being a vegetarian, so what! In the end, why does their opinion matter?

I generally stay away from building stuff that doesn't have roots in actual comics unless the theme works on some other level. Like yesterday. I ran a team with Krypto, Ambush Bug, Howard the Duck, Ch'p, Mass Master, Lian Harper and Franklin Richards-300pts.
It was little kids and their imaginary friends. Not comic accurate, but themed nonetheless.
I lost horribly, as expected, but I wanted to see them on the field.
Team building is not cheese , especially warbound teams it actually takes alot of time to put one together to look at powers , keywords , points etc . They very good because it took alot of time to put it together .
Ok i am new to the whole heroclix but i am use to games where i hearing ppl say that character is cheap and it's not fair. Ok unless that character is bannd or something there is a way to beat it And if your not skilled enough to beat it than that mean u need to get better and home your skills face it some ppl are going to have an advantage it is your job to not let it take u donw.

I'd Say it's pretty good. It has teh potential to Be MTG Big. But It's still in that precious Six Years of Being Run Stage. So we have no idea if it will fade into Obscurity like other clix Games Or not.

I stopped going to tournaments because I never had the time, I might start to play again, anyway, I've played for four years, and I've never heard "cheesing" It must be new, because I never had heard of it. I hope you don't quit, but I think you're doing the right idea as in, stop going for a while. Maybe teach some of your friends. I've got a big family who play, so once in a while we play. 6/21, I started making a 3-D map. You should do it, it's fun, and you'll get a shit load of reputation.
I hate cheese teams, but a sentinel is in no way cheese. For some reason many people think if you don't run a team that's destined to lose, then your a cheesey player. What the hell is the point in that? If you run the same crap every week (like an all kid flash team w/ ap, nanobots, and manuver) then you should be called on it... and beaten with a crowbar, but if not then how can you be considered cheezy?

The original Rules for Sentinel Capturing was if you got the figure back to the starting area and "Drop" Him you got double victory points.
Now however it is 50 points extra.
BUT The thing is it was at that time too but I was surrounded by ignorant idiots who thought that Capturing would be worth double points.

See now that's an incredibly difficult question to answer. It depends on your playing style and other misc. Factors.
Some easy team Ideas though are to have a powerhouse and build a Team around it But those are too easy to beat.
A good easy enough team to Make is a Cuckoo Team.
Just have Five Cuckoo's and some fillers and go to town.
