If you really look closely, parts of this routine actually weren't that clean, but good lord this girl is amazing. I can see why she won, because there's no way anyone, whether they had a cleaner show or not, could have beat her in '01. I've watched this video like five million times.

@twirlaholic1983 Its said to be the most difficult routine performed by a women to date. she may have had some slip ups on her rolls, and her feet may look messy in the video, but she is wearing dance sneakers, she is doing half the routine on point.I had the pleasure of witnessing this freestyle at the Canadian Trials that year. It was inspiring thats for sure.

Hmm, does anyone know if the spin double illusion at the end was supposed to be a spin TRIPLE illusion? It just seems to me that she waited a little too long for the baton and maybe the baton went too much to the left so she changed her mind (and also caught it with her left hand)? Yes, it was supposed to be a spin triple at the end of her program. Let's not forget her other triple element trick--the walkover, front aerial, walkover that she completed in middle of the program.

oh an cougarnrs just so you know...you should try out because twirling is for everyone of all shapes sizes and abilities. it never hurts to at least try out because you get better with practice and eveyrone knows that so if ur good right away you can only get better on the team. being pretty has nothing to do with it =)

OF COURSE YOU SHOULD!!!! honestly it doesn't matter how pretty you are it's about how well you twirl! if you have enough determination it won't matter, i've been twirling for like 20 years and it's not the pretty girls who are respected it's the ACTUALLY TALENTED people!!! you are judged on your twirling and determination not prettiness! so definately try out ok???
