this is so disgusting thanks to BP, gosh i just wish ppl wudnt think about their reputation an think about the planet and the terrible things they are doing gosh i love florida i go there every year but i live in Louisiana so we have it a bit worse but florida is like a second to me
hummm, the last video I saw a Hotel owner said Destin never got any oil on thier beach. Thats what the man said. I know this video was taped back in June, but the man said they never got oil on thier beach. Whatever guys. Im sick of lies, but what can you do...think for yourself and do what you think is rite. You want to play in that water go for it. The Hotel owners could sey,yes we got hit by oil,but its not washing ashore any more. But Heck, that may be a lie to.
Oh come on, everyone is crying about BP being a terribe company and stuff like that but most large companies don't care about the environment at all. An accident like this can happen with any oil company.
The way I think in my mind is that I know better than to drill a hole on the Ocean seafloor because this is what you get. Oil Companys love to belittle people that tell them not to Drill in the ocean. Try and conversate with an oil worker who is true to his drilling profetion and he may say to you,WELL YOU DRIVE A CAR DON'T YOU?(Yes I do) Well then shut the hell up! I KNOW WE HAVE SOLOTIONS TO OIL CONSUMPTION,AND THEY NEED TO BE IMPLAMENTED NOW MORE THAN EVER! LETS WAKE UP AND REBUILD OUR NATION
How is the beach doing now? We are thinking of going but I would hate to go and end up with skin irritations and other weird reactions to whatever it's in the water and sand. Have they done anything to clean up that mess? Thanks for any info.
BP is literally burning oil covered turtles, fish and whatever else they pull up in nets. If you get too close, even if ur trying to help, you will b threatened with arrest. HA wat a fuckin joke. As far as im concerned BP should b recruiting eveyr volunteer out there that is willing to help and should paying for the round trip tickets and accomadtions for helping clean up their fuck up! Instead they are surpressing the real devastation. Thumbs up if you think BP should be crucified
@44slashfan write a letter to your state senator requesting the desire to go help clean this mess up! Tell him you are 12 and dont have money and that they should pay for you! Do your part if you can or at least try..
I wouldn't be touching that with my bare hands, god knows what the hell that corexit crap bp has sprayed all over the place can do when you touch it. great vid
haha american pigs want oil? hehehee we brits will dump it in ur seas u asssholes , took us to war cos of oil in middle east, least we can do is give u free oil :) BP RULE and shud pay nothong, yanks are slaves to us, rofl they cant protest against us we own them
It is true Americans have an insationable thirst for oil, however It is the multinational energy corporations (BP) who creates a favorable environment for this need. They own a monopoly on this energy source, so until it is no longer profitable people will continue to be corralled into these conditions. Once the masses realize the detrimental effects on their desire for more oil they still face the tuff decision to continue to support the current model or forgoe initial sacrifice in effort to
Capitalize on private renewable energy source. The people who specialize in this field must not be funded by the government and/or cannot be part of these other natural resource for profit multi-national corporations. This is the hurdle humans as a whole face everyday.
Does anyone think that BP should be liable for the change of lifestyle that so many people are having to make. I am not talking about the people who have been financially affecting. I mean the people who grew up building their dreams. There are a lot of people who enjoy fishing, surfing, swimming, diving etc... How will they be compensated. Obviously the people who are financially affected take priority but still... What is your opinion?
@Surfwtw I dont know the answer to your question , but I do believe the ones affected financially should compensated. Another sad thing about all this , my wife and I have worked for years, our goal in life was to buy a place on the beach between Destin and Panama City. We are in our mid 50's now and have the money to buy. All of our children have finished school and this was the year we were going to start looking and possibly buy. Now our retirement plans are shot.
@thgolden Yeah, that is exaclty what I mean. Except those plans would be hard to prove but still there are so many people who are affectied, not only financially.
@Surfwtw BP owners should be hung! I know it sounds very `nazi` but` extracting substances like oil from the ground to ultimately burn up into our atmosphere fucking the planet over in the long run is just stupid and wrong! We have alternatives but it would be a costly change and defintely not easy. But yah i think a few less oil billionairs on the planet will help ease the suffering of the individuals affected by this crime!
Instead of the government supporting the efforts of BP for a carbon tax, they should act with real authority and sieze the assets of BP for the people effected and clean-up effort. In a perfect world BP would be bankrupt, in this world they run the gov't. The money set aside is a joke and doesn't even come close to the true value lost. How can you compare a sustained way of life to chex paying substandard lifstyle?
@APB187 how do you know the cost??? you also forget 40% of BP shareholders are yanks. dont forget to go after Transocean (US company) who owned and operated the rig or Halliburton(US company) who cemented the well, or Cameron International (US company) who built the BOP which failed, your American workers on the rig, or your government that regulates and WANTS the oil drilled. Every American is also to blame for this due to your desire for oil.
@APB187 All ;you folks have to do is quit burning that gas and diesel, buying all those plastics and mutipling like rabbits and you won't be having to deal with this type of disappointment in your lives. Hey by the way your plastic bags are blown out to sea and us fishermen have to deal with them also. Get a job live away from the sea cause your are killing the rest of due to insurance cost.
@RandomSpewBros2 Back in the day my cock was dripping cock lactate...or penis milk as I call it.It came out in big pulpy globs just like these oil blobs.I used to smear them pecker droplets all over my nipples before putting my daughters Hannah Montana doll up to them for nursing. My daughter hated when I did that she threw the doll out...she said it smelled like wet dog and Gouda cheese.
Hopefully this will slow the flow of dirty Cubans washing ashore they hate a trip in polluted water in case the boat sinks and they have to swim for it lol
Id rather have oil wash ashre than dirty criminal Cubans @3:50 Id stick my meat plunger up the one in the striped bikinis turd tunnel not an ass pounder by trade just sayin'
@TheCauseOfWetPanties Well they reckon <7million barrels of oil have been spilled and the US have over 10million illegal mexicans so get each mexican to suck up 1 barrel of oil for a passport and there you have it problem sorted
@TheCauseOfWetPanties You know, I think this is the greatest event to ever happen. I am a boat/car mechanic that lives on the Mississippi River. 3 times a week I dump used oil into the river; along with coolant, transmission fluid, etc. Along with giving the water a beautiful sheen, I have noticed the fish are a lot easier to catch and they cook up better on the grill. I am going to the coast in a few days and I am going to shoot me a few of them black greasy pelicans. Oil is wonderful.
I just moved away from Destin to Texas and i haven't seen what the beach looked like after the oil spill and i'm like heart broken. This was the beach i learned to surf at and the only one i WOULD surf in!
never been to Destin- but my Sister use to go there to friends- several times a yr- so i have heard about how beautiful it is there! and i have seen many beautiful pics of it!
one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! the spill is just heartbreaking! God help us save our Gulf coast! God bless all the people who live there!
@a2luckygal What the hell are you people bitching about?! The Gulf is the toilet of the world anyway. A little oil will do that giant cesspool some good by killing off those bastard dolphins that I usually shoot with a shotgun when they come near my boat. Fuck the Gulf.

what's really scary, is that everyone is looking for brown water(???) in the air scans and the beach is 'crystal' clear 'on the surface', but as you show there is oil still.
you clearly showed that the oil is below the pristine sand probably because the tide brings in layers of sand covering the oil that has laid on the beach.
