When you dry brush and get some of the paint on the Carapace, or any other part your not dry brushing on any model, how would you get rid of it? Would you just paint over it? Or clean it off?
they should also say to get an even better finish is that after you do all these steps you wash the model with maybe a scab red was so the holes, sinewy parts on the face and the areas were the exoskeleton turns into the the carapace 2 add even better shading then use a fine detail brush to add minute highlights on the areas around the holes, the upraised parts of the head, and where the exoskeleton is split with a blood red
Very cool paint scheme so far. Using just a few colors and you've added a lot of depth to this model. Top notch tutorial so far! Can't wait to see those armor plates!
This a really good series, even though I already use alot of the techniques you show, it never hurts to see how someone else does it and since I am starting a Tyranid army this is very helpful.
