If you've played Raiden IV you'd know that the hit-boxes are in the CENTRE of the ship. Not the ship itself. Check out some playthroughs on YouTube you'll see what I mean... It's like that for a lot of Japanese shmups. Most notably DeathSmiles.

hope raiden 4 for american release taken from patched version of japanese release so i didnt need to download content to get some extra such as fighter mk-II(original raiden) and fairy........
