  • Try doing that with 35lbs body armor. That is how he did that workout.

    I would look into better form on your pullups, those are more like swinging jerkups. Not criticising, you would just get more out of them with better form.

  • These pull-ups are perfect form. It's called kipping, which is a high powered pull up very efficient for high reps or explosive power, & incorporates more functionality to the movement. Try doing 100 strict form pull-ups on end and you'd be there for 20 minutes just on them. The Crossfit guys know what they're doing when it comes to form, trust me.

    We have nothing but respect for Lt. Murphy and his teammates.

    While our athletic effort is clearly not on par with his tremendous sacrifice, we chose to honor him with an incredibly difficult workout.

    In regards to your remarks, perhaps you should work on your recognition of intent rather than blindly swearing at people you don't know.
