@Lieven29 Thats sad. Poor wolf spider. They're the most mellow spiders once tamed. I had one that used to down water like beer out of a water bottle cap. It would drink half the capfull in like 5 minutes. A while later I got a giant Sunspider (Solpugid) that had an abdomen almost the size of a Cadbury Creme Egg. It was the most aggressive pet Ive ever owned. I fed that thing about 6-10 junebugs a day(depending on how many I found). It would eat the whole junebug shell n all in under a minute.

Yikes, I guess that would tend to freak you out if you're not expecting it! Spiders are a fascination with me...once saw a black widow in a glass jar. Someone had brought it in to the wildlife clinic where I worked. Sinister-looking but beautiful, and not something I'd want anywhere near my bed! Give me a wolf spider any day.
