@Orangeness81 What jake Lurhz does ((the screamer)) is very difficult to do and he is revered in the metal scene for his vocal prowess. The guitarist knows what hes doing - those are Phrygian minor solos. Difficult to write and VERY difficult to play. The rhythm in the songs by this band takes REAL TALENT to do and keep up with. Matt Greiner ((drummer)) was my idol when I was teaching myself drums, and still is. ABR very well may be the most talented hardcore band of this generation.

Maybe the metalcore scene looks up to these guys, but to which I would argue that there are similar metal bands accomplishing so much more than these guys... What about Bodom, Trivium or Five-Finger? Similar genre, but can they lose to ABR in terms of technique or difficulty?
By god I hate metalcore... harsh vocals, breakdowns and girl guitar riffs just don't mix, but that's just me. The drummer was good though, and the guitarist wasn't half bad.
dude i will admit that their first cd, messanger, was amazing but i felt they lacked like rythem to their music, or like lyrics.... or something along those line's..... the new cd.... blew my fucken mind like getting mouth fucked by a 12 gadge.... i saw them in concert and they had that back drop of their new cd... i asked every single member if they could all sign it and give it to me... all said no :( but whatever they are a lot better then their old cd ( which was amazing) :P

@csMETALfest Not to start a arguement or anything, but ABR definatly does not have the best breakdowns of all metalcore. THere are many other bands that have breakdowns 2x as good as ABR. There an amazing band and have amazing breakdowns but there definatly not the best.
@h3llzb0unty123 It's all opinions. I think ABR is the best current metalcore out there right now. And for a final note, I didn't say they have the best breakdowns. I was simply stating they are unique to the genre. I play guitar, I play mainly metalcore, and most bands breakdowns are fairly simple and somewhat easy to play. ABR is a different story, they use different time signatures, unorthodox picking patterns, and have more feeling behind the breakdowns the most if not all metalcore bands.

False, this is not a Christian band, this is a metalcore band that is made up of Christians. Even they say that they aren't a Christian band, while a few songs are very Christian oriented they more just put out positive messages that are morally and ethically positive.
@WasteXDX we have no problem with them being a Christian band if they were to take that label, this is my favourite band, they saved my life. I just dislike referring to them as Christian because A) it make's it harder to enjoy and relate to the music since I am not a believer in God and B) it turns off other who have a dislike for the Christian reputation as preachy elitist's. ABR on the other hand have Christianity done right, they have their faith but they don't preach.

@2ndCOR517 Well, what you say about religion is completely in a christians point of view. the way i look at it religion is something people just have because it makes them more comfident with death and everything they cannot explain. The problem with major religions is that they do not advance with the time as fast as they should. thats why the church still claimed that the earth was flat years after it was proven otherwise. so as long as religion is just mental support its alright.
@zorovriend A lot of modern religions cause people to fear death in a sense. The whole religion is built on duties, and orders, and shame. Many religions use shame as a way to try and help. When I say that Christianity is a relationship, I mean that God has given us His Son as an invitation to come and talk to Him. Look at Middle-Eastern religions, they believe that living right on earth may one day enable you to meet "god". Christianity is God already living inside of us through the Holy Spirit

But people have been trying to disprove the Bible forever and have never been able to. Jesus' resurrection for example. People say that it never happened, but there is historical back round outside of the Bible saying He did live. The Gospel accounts were written withing 60 years of the resurrection. Don't you think someone who was alive...

eeeh. it was decent. it sure as hell doesnt deserve a thumbs down but not a thumbs up either. i would wan more clean vocals the only band that doesnt give me headache due to pure screaming is "catherine" they be BEASTLY. but yea also i think im use to better stuff which is why i dont like this band ALOT but il listen to them on youtube but not worth buying an album. False, this is not a Christian band, this is a metalcore band that is made up of Christians. Even they say that they aren't a Christian band, while a few songs are very Christian oriented they more just put out positive messages that are morally and ethically positive.

@WasteXDX we have no problem with them being a Christian band if they were to take that label, this is my favourite band, they saved my life. I just dislike referring to them as Christian because A) it make's it harder to enjoy and relate to the music since I am not a believer in God and B) it turns off other who have a dislike for the Christian reputation as preachy elitist's. ABR on the other hand have Christianity done right, they have their faith but they don't preach.

@2ndCOR517 Well, what you say about religion is completely in a christians point of view. the way i look at it religion is something people just have because it makes them more comfident with death and everything they cannot explain. The problem with major religions is that they do not advance with the time as fast as they should. thats why the church still claimed that the earth was flat years after it was proven otherwise. so as long as religion is just mental support its alright.

@zorovriend A lot of modern religions cause people to fear death in a sense. The whole religion is built on duties, and orders, and shame. Many religions use shame as a way to try and help. When I say that Christianity is a relationship, I mean that God has given us His Son as an invitation to come and talk to Him. Look at Middle-Eastern religions, they believe that living right on earth may one day enable you to meet "god". Christianity is God already living inside of us through the Holy Spirit

@zorovriend As far as people arguing the Bible, that has always gone on. For one thing, the Pope, or Catholicism in general, took it's roots from the Bible. But people have been trying to disprove the Bible forever and have never been able to. Jesus' resurrection for example. People say that it never happened, but there is historical back round outside of the Bible saying He did live. The Gospel accounts were written withing 60 years of the resurrection. Don't you think someone who was alive...
