  • This movie's a fucking blast

  • If the Kung Fu Priest isn't a Father Ted reference I'll eat my hat.

  • just ordered this movie off of amazon today. your review is what made me do it. been looking at it for years and never got the chance. so thank you James and cinimassacre for making this review and keep it up.

  • i remember this film made me laugh my ass off espeacily when hes beating up the monster baby

  • This movie makes my horror favs look more like Pee-Wee's Playhouse than the Care Bears

  • the only movie that ever made puke. i was 8 years old and just finished eating spaghetti.

  • I kick ass for the lord!

  • 0:14 falcon...PUNCH

  • This came out the year I was born! ...Yeah. not really sure what to make of that.

  • Peter Jackson is an odd Phat Hobbit

  • Ohh, baby to the balls!

  • I watched while eating meatloaf, corn and mashed potatoes xD

  • First time I saw Brain Dead was on acid. That movie gets fucking INTESE.

  • man got to see this movie

  • "I KICK ASS *FOR THE LORD*!!!!"

  • i watched this movie when i was like 8 lol

  • brain dead is pretty gory. but dude watch canibal holocaust. now thats some fucked up shit. and the fucked up part is animals WERE harmed in the making of the movie.

  • @DCUnderdog3000 Whoa dude, back up. Those are two completely different movies. Dead Alive is some good old fashion cheesy gore to watch for a fun time, Cannibal Holocaust is just shocking, disturbing, and hard to watch. It seems the film makers just aimed for shock value, I still have no idea how they were allowed to release it back in 1980.

While watching Dead Alive, I laughed my ass off and enjoyed it, while watching Cannibal Holocaust I hoped I'd never watch it again.

  • @LongDieseldog i know dude. im talking about gore and brutality not the genre of both movies.

  • @DCUnderdog3000 Well I think Brain Dead is by far gorier, but the most of the gore in Cannibal Holocaust is real! Like you said about the animals.

  • If ur a real horror movie fan u wouldnt even call this a b-movie this is right in the f*cking real leagues

  • This is for your you, for those retarded dickheads who only like blood in a horror movie.

  • Lol must watch it :D thx James

  • 1:06 CLICK THIS FOR EPICNESS!

  • "I kick ass for the lord" new FAVORITE SAYING FOR LIFE!

  • one of my fevrite films

  • "I kick ass for the Lord"

Okay, some church, somewhere, needs to start it's own karate studio and use that line as it's slogan. That would be so awesome.

  • @FlyingFocs they would need a donkey on thier sign so people wouldn't get mad

  • @MrDavidX9696 I meant that as a joke (for obvious reasons), but that is a clever point. On the other hand, they would then get into trouble by animal rights groups.

  • @FlyingFocs well yeah, a donkey hanging by its legs probably would be a downside...

  • "aye kick auss for da lord!"

  • Lol So I just watched and this movie was hilarious definatley the best zombie movie I have ever seen.

  • is that freddy krueger at 1:33

  • Comment removed

  • i think im gonna be sick.MOM!WHERES THE BARF BAGS!?!?

  • 1:06 jay Leno is kicking ass for the lord

  • thumbs up u tried to watch braindead while eating anything without throwing up

  • 1:33 Freddy Kruger???

  • I KICK ASS FOR THE LORD

  • a serbian film was worse

  • @hecatomb You can make gut splattering violence, but a Serbian film is more sick because of it's concept.

  • When the ear fell in the pudding i almost threw up, that shit was so gross.

  • "I kick ass for the Lord".

  • Damn, and I thought Riki-Oh was gory.

  • Watching it on a TV is one thing, but if I watched it at theaters, I'd probably be puking a lot, and I'm going to take a guess that you didn't even show us the goriest scene....time to find a movie :D

  • I am actually gonna see this one. I keep hearing its the goriest film ever but is it a good movie overall? Also is the ending one of those types where the zombies win at the end?

  • @ecartman12 acctually no. for once the humans win. surprised? so was i when i decided to watch this movie.

  • @gabbe583 Yes I am surprised. I hate it when the zombies win at the end. It sort of makes me feel unsatisfied and I think at the end what was the point because the main characters die at the end anyway. Just a personal thing. Many other people don't mind the main characters die at the end.

  • @ecartman12 and the ironic thing is these zombies just so happen to be the most hardest zombies to kill ever. just watch themovie and you'll see what i mean.

  • @gabbe583

...and all this started with a funky looking rat.

  • Holy donkey's diarrhea shit stain!!! (channeling my inner AVGN) Yeah, I'm gonna have to see this film.

"I kick ass for the Lord!!!" LMAO!!!

  • If James reviewed Infra Man and Brain Dead, he NEEDS to review Ricky Oh: The Story of Ricky. It's basically these two movies rolled into one.

  • I kick ass for the lord

  • I just saw it...

and all i can say is... Holy Shit!

But i can think of something with even more blood.

The 2010 Splatterhouse game, now that's bloody!

  • it was surpassed in blood by piranha 3d

  • am i wreid for finding the whole thing disgustingly funny??

  • bad taste is also good but brain dead is peter jacksons best film. also the guy that gets his hand cut off at the beginning is peter

  • @0010110100 Sorry to say but that is not Peter in the beginning. He only plays one role in Braindead and that is the Undertaker's Assistant.

  • for people who are like "ew i'm not going to watch that" it resembles evil dead in the sense that uses vast amounts of gore, but he uses it all in a humorous and engaging mmatter. if you liked lord of the rings, well good for you the movie resembles it in absolutely no way. just proves how amazing peter jackson is as a director

  • whats worse? brain dead or the BME olympics?

  • lmmfao i kick ass for the lord

  • Am I an awful person for laughing through this movie? I mean, damn it's gory, but it doesn't phase me... I think I might be a little f'ed up...

  • Try to watch Brain Dead while eating lasagna ...I dare you !! ^_^

  • @blackartdemon CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!!!!!!!!

  • @blackartdemon NO SCREW THAT!! I dare anyone to watch Brain Dead while eating anything....I triple dare anyone!!! :D

  • @blackartdemon Try to watch eraserhead while masturbating

  • @MortonGoldthwait Try to masturbate to Sarah Jessica Parker and Barbra Streisand.

  • @blackartdemon Try to watch the 1982 "The Thing" while eating spaghetti

  • James, you should totally review Brainscan, fucking awesome movie!

  • ALMOST A RIPOFF OF EVIL DEAD IN GORE BUT EVEN MORE GORY!

  • It may be gory, but it's in a fun, cartoony way.

  • i just love what the priest says at 1:06 XD

  • I love this film, it's funny as hell. Nothing compares to watching the zombie baby running around creating havock, and the Kung Fu priest? C'mon! "I kick ass for the lord!" is one of the best lines in B movie history!

  • I wonder if James has ever seen Feast? That movie is pretty gory. Maybe not as gory as this though.

  • They banned Human Centipede 2 but not THIS? UGH

  • James! Do a review for Bad Taste to!

  • Peter Jackson is a genius.

  • WTF XD i kick ass for the lord

  • Lol I was like "WTF?!!" through out the whole clip lol, this was indeed some disturbing shit. Ima fucking watch it :D

  • eddsworld brought me here

  • Comment removed

  • The guy's nuts got grabbed by a zombie LOL!!!!!!

  • its funny he mentioned the lord of the rings. this is one of peter jacksons earliest movies

  • press 5 for yeah

  • ...Why didn't they make a movie about the Kung Fu priest?

  • I have some suggestions for next year if you havent done them

My name is Bruce, its about bruce campbel being mistaken for a real monster slayer

Jack Brooks, Monster Slayer, another fun little film thats got former Freddy Krueger in it.

and on of my favorites from when i was younger, Wishmaster

None of them are really top billing horror flicks but all of them are worth a watch

  • I gotta watch this movie when im baked that was awesome

  • I...Couldn't even finished that it was so gross.

  • what about lucio folchi and the zombie films? they are gory

  • Im gonna throw up.

  • holy shit, this is hilarious!

  • classic

  • goriest movie? what about Cannibal Holocaust?

  • @bulletbelt13 CH isn't as gory. I would give it some points for the scene where they actually cut that turtle in half, but Dead Alive is like that scene going on time ten for an hour and a half.

  • @bulletbelt13 that is not much gore in it

  • @bulletbelt13 That isn't so much gory as it is disturbing...

  • @bulletbelt13 Dont even come close dude.....seriously LOL

  • The guy getting his face ripped off at 1:17 kinda sounded like a Guardian / Brute from the Dead Space series... :D More like the Brute

  • I think I saw Freddy getting owned and pumping tons of blood at 1:34

  • Made ME LOL

  • press 1 "fungus boobies"

  • Best movie made :)

  • I kick ass for the LORD! Best line ever! lol!

  • Goriest movie you ever saw? August Underground Mordum haha

  • @kane555444 Awesomely disturbing film.I only wish I could find the other 2.

  • Goriest movie you ever saw? August Underground Mordum haha

  • I LOLed so hard after hearing that priest say " I kick ass for the lord". Imagine how awesome it would be it all priests were like this guy. Everyone would be going to church and obeying the ten commandments then

  • *presses 0*

i have to see that again :D

  • 1:17 GIVE ME YOU'RE FACE!

  • MAKES ME PROUD TO BE A KIWI c: I kick ass for the lord.

  • I KICK ASS FOR THE LORD OMGG!!!! NERD RAGEEE

  • All hail the lord of GORE!!!!

  • 1:50 to 1:56 is the funnyest part of the baby

  • Man, I was stunned the first time I saw this. That baby makes me laugh every time.

  • "I kick ass for the lord!"

  • Brain Dead (Dead Alive) the goriest and funniest movie ever

  • I showed this movie to a friend who only knew Jackson from LOTR & King Kong... Then I let him watch "Meet the Feebles". I think he's still recovering! XD I love this movie & Feebles & the Frighteners & Bad Taste.

  • I saw this movie today and I enjoyed it, but it was friggin discusting. I honestly almost threw up. I had to stop the movie and take some Pepto Bismoal before continuing (then again I have had a sick stomach lately, but still). And keep in minde, you're hearing this from some one who's seen the original "Dawn of the Dead" (as well as the remake), John Carpenter's "The Thing", "Creepshow" and the new "Rambo" movie.

  • @shadowclaw46 really? check out the august underground movies, the vomit gore trilogy, cannibal holocaust, salo, mu zan e, niku daruma, the guinea pig films, especially "flower of flesh and blood", men behind the sun, nekromantik 1 and 2, inside, martyrs, ichi the killer etc etc

i love braindead but it is like monty python compared to the above.

  • @muck47 I actually have heard of "Cannibal Holocaust." Is it really that bad?

  • @shadowclaw46 its pretty hardcore, yeah! put it like this: i would advise you to research it before you decide to watch it! there are some excellent reviews here on youtube, the best being done by a youtuber called lampyman101. one thing: if you are an animal lover you WONT want to see CH, trust me!

    cheers man :)

  • PETER JACKSON, FUCK YEAH! :D

  • I watched this movie and it made me want to puke. But It was worth watching just for the hilarious baby.

  • 1 05 i kick ass for the lord funny as hell

  • @Hiddendaggerstudios way worse

  • It wouldve been a better joke if james had said "Gore of the Rings", but still a bad pun

  • I like there was a homeless cheering when a baby was getting beat up

  • check out poultrygeist: night of the chicken dead lol its just as gory as this movie

  • I can't believe my 13 year old brother watched this.

    He probably had nightmares.

I was asleep when he watched it.

Good thing I didn't wake up when the movie was still playing.

  • I KICK ASS FOR THE LORD!

  • james left outt the puss in the custad gag wich makes me sick every time

  • That priest is badass.

  • the sick fucked up movie i could think of is the two of the following: evil dead and wishmaster (film)

  • I KICK ASS FOR THE LAWD

  • was this a comedy or horror or both :p

  • Does anybody know where "Monster Madness 2010" is aviable? Cuz James has not uploaded it on his channel...

  • @TheFartking90 Go to Cinemassacre. com, Reviews, Monster Madness, 2010

  • @jstanyer91 Thnx

  • that looks like one fucked up movie ive often seen it at a movie store near me but have never actualy known what it was kind of reminds me of dead riseing 1:31

  • @BDag88 Even Dead Rising has nothing on Braindead. This is without a doubt the bloodiest film ever made, while the bloodiest video game ever made is without a doubt Splatterhouse.

  • @psychokinrazalon Mad World was bloody, too.

  • @nightbane2 Yes, but not as much as Splatterhouse.

  • @BDag88 iv never seen the movie but i only say it reminds me of dead rising because of the lawn mower and which splatterhouse are you speeking of the new one or the old ones.

  • now i can say ''i puked 200 times after seeing this movie... nuff said''

  • Well.........

  • Press 1, that girl is screaming because she is looking at James' dick while James says "LONG"

  • Question: has there ever been an actual snuff film, or is it an urban legend?

  • goriest movie ever, ill believe it

  • Bad Taste is also great. I can't decide with one I like better.

  • xD who else laughed his ass off at the scene at the end when the baby gets kicked out of the window? *raises hand*

  • 1:05 "I kick ass for the lord" most awesome guy ever

  • 1:34 Even Freddy Krueger is getting sliced.

  • ... Holy sheepshit.

  • Wow, this is SO excessive that it doesn't shock me. Usually I can't stand this, but there's just so much of this shit it doesn't look serious at all!

  • does anyone else find it weird that im 12 years old and i can stand ALL of this gore!

  • @LegoKing345 No. He's probably limited to what he can show

  • @LegoKing345 not really. I was exposed to the blade movies by my brother when i was six. and i thought that there wasn't enough gore.
