@oloflindh Well, have a look at the S40... It is a Jetta (don't say it is the next size class, as it IS in the compact class). Volvo doesn't need to compete with VW, they just need customers who will simply take Volvo as Premium and not as a VW competitor! Volvo is not a Ford! If you want to buy a Golf but not from VW you buy a Focus - an EU-Focus!

Time to start working on the S30 model now. Something that can compete with a WV Golf and with the same price tag as a Golf.

@oloflindh It is called "C30" and isn't supposed to compete with the Golf... The Golf is the "cheap car class", the C30 is in the "premium class"...
