  • You know, this is really just suppose to be a rant based on the everyday life of a internet user in the U.S.

It is not meant to actually complain about the list. Especially after the bomb joke, it becomes more apparently. O_o People are too politically charged these days, plus Bill Maher doesn't even write all the new rules.

  • Aaaaaaamerica!

  • Ask the rest of the 7.5 Billion people in the world what they think about America!

  • @snowiedognorth There's only 6.7 billion people in the world.

  • @blue4arekkusu You're right! oops!

  • SImple, just change the name of the country to America's United States and it will be on top :)

  • @Robi2009 well..... near the top anyway. afganistan, akrotiri, albania and algeria still come before america alphabetically.

  • @mikeecy at least it starts with A :)

  • Geez, calm down people. It actually makes sense to have the country of the domain on top, ie .com America would be first, .ca Canada, .uk UK, .de Germany, .au Australia, etc... granted he didn't phrase it THAT way necessarily but i'd guess it's certainly a sentiment that resonates not just in America.

  • @Relbl Without looking up, would you guess the TLDs for Switzerland, Austria and the Ukraine?

  • @595o No, but I'm not a Swiss, Austrian or Ukrainian - and I bet THEY could

  • Hey Bill ! Do you have something you scratch your butt with during the real time if you have to do that ? Is there any special gadgets for that kind of performance that is made only for you TV hosts ?

  • Speak for yourself, Im Australian

  • Dude I've been saying that for years!! lol

  • Dear Bill, grow up and stop beong conceited, and keep in mind i'm 18 years old, you might be smart but you alreadly made the classis smart guy mistake of thinking nowone is smarter than you. You might be slightly more clever and funny that the joke guy at the average office but in the real world we call life you're just a brat that's just been born. USA on top? Bill, click on the bar, type "U" and it will take you to the countries that start with that letter, YOU'RE WELCOME ASSHOLE!

  • @SinisterSkyline It's a joke. Maybe when you're older you'll cultivate an understanding for tongue-in-cheek humor.

  • @VictimOfBoredom I understand that the statement had a slight touch of humor in the undertone but the reaction is the effect and the effect is what counts in the end because it can make up people's mind or push them into MANY directions, dangerous directions, i adore edgy tongue in cheek humor but this isn't humor, it's a shit joke that, ESPECIALLY WITH BILL'S CONCEITED DICTION, sounds like a statement. Playing the age just shows me that you support a dumb belief that age determines brain...?

  • @SinisterSkyline Your assuming he knows who to actually use a browser. (which i think he probably has some lackey use and look up half his material)

  • War is American's way of teaching its citizens Geography

  • usually US, UK and Canada are on top, then everything is in alphabetical order below.

but there should be a thing where you start to type in and pick from a list

  • It should be listed in accordance to the level of site activity from each country.

  • @AmericanCritiquer good point. Still a funny video.

  • @AmericanCritiquer

No, it shouldn't!! How would you go about finding a country then, if they're not in alphabetical order??

  • @Joddit Some websites put the top 5 countries that register in their websites on top then have a double line and every other country in alphabetical order. I think this is the best way :)

  • @VoteYou

You could use your keyboard and hit "u", in stead of scrolling down like some halfwit...

  • @Joddit Most scroll-and-click web script ignores ctrl+f

  • @VoteYou

Never said anything about ctrl+f... Don't need it... Just a "u" on your keyboard

  • @Joddit Um...no. That does not work, I tried it. Is that a windows 7 or mac thing?

  • @VoteYou

That's weird... I've got 7 but it used to work on xp as well

  • @Joddit You would list the rest in alphabetical order but the U.S would go first because, well. . that's the only one that matters.

  • @seenandnotheard

Ever wondered why roughly 90 percent of the world hates the US?? I think I know...

  • @Joddit Stop with the self-hate, the fact is, every other country is full of idiots. It is pretty obvious they have even more than in the U.S if you tune in to their television. Everyone hates the U.S because they want to live here or because they want their country to be greater than the U.S out of nationalistic pride that started the two world wars.

  • @VoteYou actually we hate you because you guys act like your the shit, when your not. Ive been to the States and I would not want to live there, I mean, what if I get sick? They would tell me to pay up or kick me to the streets, fuck that. My country has free health care AND free post secondary education. Top that USA!!

  • @VoteYou

Or maybe they can't stand the arrogance portrayed here.... I vote for the latter...

  • @Joddit oh yeah? is that a real stat? a stat you got from one of your "america sucks websites"

  • @seenandnotheard

Of course that's not a real stat... Does it need to be?

Very well then, ever wondered why a large number people throughout the world hate Americans?? I think I know...

Hope you got off on this one...

  • @Joddit tough shit if you live in Istanbul.

  • @Joddit Put them in order of awesomeness and if your American you will be on top, and if you're not, screw you, you should have invinted the internet.

  • @monokhem

I'm fairly certain you had little to no influence on the invention on the internet... It is uncool to boast about somebody else's achievements... Have fun in your theocracy, though!!

  • @Joddit You missed what was going on there.

The country that invents things gets preferential treatment. The British invented the post Office so thier stamps are the only ones that don't have the country of origin. The US invented flight so all commercial pilots have to learn english. That's how the world works.

The US is no where near a theocracy, and good luck living in whatever lesser country you some from.

  • @monokhem Did your sarcasm detector stop working?

  • @pokepuncher way to be totaly out of it.

  • @monokhem Totally (That has 2 L's in it) out of it? What is "It"? And how has a sarcastic comment about your inability to detect sarcasm put me "totaly out of it" ?

  • @pokepuncher Because that isn't what's happening. You've been a condescending dufus based on a misconception. It's funny.

  • @monokhem Whose misconception? I've pointed out that Joddit made a sarcastic (And brilliantly funny) comment, and this is wrong because...?

I'm glad I live in the UK, we understand sarcasm, and we understand the the best comedy is insulting to other people.

  • @monokhem

The only 'lesser' countries than the US are third world countries. And possibly Middle Eastern ones. Everyone else is on a level playing field, and has been for Ages.

  • @Bean77 Level playing field huh? Only countries that have launched people into orbit are on the US' playing field. Acting like Germany or Canada is on a level playing field with the US is kind of sad.

It's not like that makes me better than you but the US is certainly far ahead of the rest of the world in most respects, and will be until our inferior primary education system catches up with us.

  • @monokhem

C'mon, man. Be serious. The space program isn't any kind of sane barometer of who has the better country, and even if it was, the US just had to shut down their major way to get people into orbit. Does that make them any LESS of a country? Of course not. And the US really isn't far ahead of the rest of the world in ANY respect-unless you're counting the military, and if you are, that's like saying a dude with a big penis is tremendously smart. He's not.

  • @Bean77 I think it kind of is, for numerous reasons from the technology, to the military advantage to the effect it has on scientific study, and it's the most valuable thing humans can contribute to life.

The US didn't have to shut it down, we chose to in order to more quickly bring other manners of space travel including deep space transportation and commercial space development.

    Any respect:

    Space exploration

    Medical research

    Political influence

When did a big penis stop the Nazis?

  • @monokhem

I think you missed my point, so I'll try again, without analogies-There is nothing involved in the US standard of living that is not duplicated elsewhere. All of the first world countries have approximately the same standard of living.

Not to mention that there's no category in the quality of life surveys that the US leads the pack in. Unless that's changed recently? Feel free to prove me wrong.

  • @Bean77 I never excepted standard of living as a measure of a countries awesomeness, so you really didn't make a point. For you to have made a point you are going to have to show that a countries greatness is measured solely by it's standard of living, which is going to be a tough bit of work. I don't see anyone saying that the Polynesians were greater than Rome because of their standard of living.

The US leads the world in freedom of speech.

  • @AmericanCritiquer Great idea, that way it's always a surprise where your country will be in the list! With around 200 countries world-wide, this is going to be such great fun - we'll get to play "find your country" every time we need to fill out a form, which is a joy all in it's own right.

Any ideas on how to solve world poverty and hunger by any chance? :)

  • @KryzMasta wow, 8 months ago.

  • @AmericanCritiquer Yes, I saw an eight month old video just now. And saw a rather dumb comment I felt compelled to reply to. Is your comment hopelessly out of date? You can always delete it, you know. :)

  • @KryzMasta douche, I had no idea such a simple comment would get thumbs up and last for eight months. I don't care that your seeing it now or what you have to say about it for that matter.

  • @AmericanCritiquer So, piss face, why, if you don't care, do you take precious time out of your busy schedule to respond to my (might I say quite astute) observation regarding your comment? I mean, your comment is there, I respond to it eight months later, and it took you exactly 30 minutes to jump up and reply. That doesn't look like you don't care, that looks like you have a passionate relationship with the words you left out there on the interwebs. Twat.
