you pick and choose where to extreme highlight. i was just wondering if anything works well or does it matter a lot where you choose?? i just dont trust my picking and choosing skills very much.

outside edges... so any where that the armor plates would come to a corner or rounded edge is a good start.

Also i wished to ask if anyone knows how to properly pain White over black on the models since im trying to paint ravenguard but when i paint the white over the black it always seems to be uneven so to speak.I have tried every sort of watering down to make the paint more fluid but i still get these patces :(

Oh and i use a Chaos black / Fortress Grey / Skull white combo when im painting the whites.

Not quite following what you want. You have to get the BT upgrade boxset... like 3 of them. Neophytes though should be no sweat... Space Marine Scout box set without sniper rifles. I converted some out of imperial guard models...

My brother just won a tournament using BT. 3 Land Raider Crusaders, 3 Vindicators with Power of the Machine Spirit, some troops and some speeders. It was the first one he entered and he won! Start with some tactical marines, emperors champ, and a Land Raider Crusader for sure. have fun!

hmmm jawaballs about 2 years ago i bought some space marines i got i think a basic squad of 15 or somthing like that a rhino and a dreadnought. i was very young then and painted them craply. im just getting back into warhammer and im just priming my models again now so i can start again just wanna know what sort of guys i should have. i meen like blood angels ultra marines etc.

Its up to you. I would reccomend something like black templars or blood angels because they have their own special rules and characters but otherwise its just which one you think looks good :)

Thank you for your video. I have been trying to get into table top games for a long time, but the painting aspect of the hobby has always been very intimidating to me. How do you paint a blood angel over black? is it possible to make them loo kgood?

When I paint my best, I paint black first, then paint every armor plate with Mechrit Red, leaving the seperations black.

if i remember correctly(last time i bought/painted/or played was back when they redid the rulebook before this new one that came out) but when the black templar codex came out i think they did and it was called the crusader squad (it was like a tactical but came with the black templars bitz)

when you say wash of codex Grey what is the ratio you use ? love the videops btw I use them for my chaos armys since the armor is almost the same.

I used a roughly 50/50 for that codex grey. I said wash because a good portion of it was water but it is not an entirely accurate term. I'm glad you like these videos! I've used the washes to tone down models,even "tint" the color of a fig.The thing that always made me nervous about the extreme highlighting is I have seen it make a good paint job look like crap if it's not done well.Have you ever checked out my stuff?I would love to hear your opinion,and be brutaly honest,Golden Daemon judge brutal.
