have to disagree with those who say a good job was done, totally none aseptic! These procedures should always be done in a clinical environment. It is not necessary to pack after cyst removal if it has been done properly. it is more likely to intoduce bacteria. Profylatic antibiotics would do the job. Go to th doctor every time!
holy fuckin mrsa infections! i don't know who's more fucked up,them for operating on the floor and posting shit on youtube or all of us for watching this shit lmao. either way it's a damn good gagging laugh
I know this lady thinks she knows what shes doing but you dont uses that tool for extraction. I have pairs of those scissors and they are far too sharp to simply reverse the grip and more or less stap into the wound.
I love how women are so into popping the nastiest of wounds. Does it stink? Oooo look at that I cant watch anymore but they always do. Its killing that younger girl not to be doing the squeezing. thats great.
the biggest mistake that people make when doing cysts is that they don;t get the sac, the lump, that stuff she pulled out at the end, and that they HAVE to pack it after like she;s doing with the gauze, because that way the bacteria cannot grow and fill the hole again,, it also allows draining, which is really important, she did a GREAT JOB
there was no need for the ribbon gauze, appart from anything before putting it in the cavity it was all over his back getting contaminated. these procedures should always be done in a clinical environment no matter how clever you think you are!

"It's not infected" - are you kidding me? WHAT DOES THAT WHITE PUS LOOK LIKE?? it's an infection. DUH! Makes me wonder where they studied medicine.. scary.
She def is not a nurse!!! Those are autoclavable bags that the instruments were in...Wouldnt want her to cut into me, it has sepsis and mrsa written all over it! Video was cool though!
@Cheyenne21999 I'm seen that comment 2,000 times in the past 4 months. Really its old! Why do you guys intend on copying something over and over you know its not original! There comes a time when you must move on and start thinking for yourself and not be unoriginal just to get thumbs up!
when she said "i wish i could've sewed you up" she meant "i wish i could've sucked you off, but your annoying ass kids was here again. You said they weren't going to be home. I'll see you next week"
Why do they stick in that strip of tissue after empting the cyst? Is it to drain it? Or is it sterilizing stuff on the tissue? For how long do they keep it in there because the wound can heal with it in there?
@stimpen12 it's packing material. if you keep that in there then you wont get recurring cysts in the same place. not sure about length of time though.
Its true Americans have to resort to this sort of thing. He is probably self -employed and after paying 30% federal taxes not to mention State taxes and property tax little is left over for Health insurance not if you want to live in a halfway decent home and take a vacation every year. God bless America
Sorry aern77 but you're wrong. Not far so since I think you & others think the definition of a cyst is a packet full of infection. Normally that is not the case at all. In this setting cysts are just a packet of sebum and sweat enclosed by a membrane. People live with them any number of years. It is when they get agitated, they can become infected. A boil on the other hand is always an infection consisting of several packets that must be brought to a head before draining..Never squeeze, LANCE!
does it stink? No cause its not infected. Still there is a little odor to it. Its a little stinky. Ok doc, then where did all the pus come from? Of course it is infected.
Sebacous fluid is secreted all the time it is why ur skin gets oily. however, pus comes when neutrophils engulf bacteria via phagocytosis and then die. so pus is essentially dead neutaphils!! that is all :) and i am speaking to u suzannecocks
Skababy8227 you're showing your ignorance! Lol it's a cyst, and it's NOT infected. The pulpy inside of the cyst is not infected pus. It's sebaceous material...
The nurse was right, it isn't infected. I'm a nurse too, and I have had both infected and non-infected cysts (one required surgical removal of about 12 cubic inches of tissue). There is a difference in the material that gathers inside a regular cyst; it is more like fatty tissue. An infected abscess looks and feels different. The liquid is pus and is usually runny and an off-color like greenish or yellow.
You are right about the squeezing technique... could've done much better...
This person is a nurse?? What does she mean it doesn't stink cuz it's not infected??? That whole mass of puss IS infection...its a bunch of dead white blood cells which the body recruits to try to heal the infection. You don't get cysts in the absence of infection...you get them as a result of infection. And yes, I agree...all these posts of people squeezing pus pockets - they are doing it wrong...you need to get under it and squeeze from all four sides at once.
@aerni77 There's NO way this person is a nurse, or any trained medical professional for that matter. Probably just someone that watched a few vids on YouTube, got ahold of a scalpel and gloves, and decided to give it a shot. The tecnique is NOT aseptic (look it up) and she's cutting WAY too much, just to name a few things. Any trained medical professional would not do it this way. You are totally correct about the relationship between pus and infection. And yes, I AM a nurse, unlike her!
@aerni77 what you just mean is "abscess", caused as you right explained.. But this is a cyst : clogged sebaceous gland, which in long time has caused a adipoma (bag of fat)..
@aerni77 Actually if it's a sebaceous cyst, it tends to be filled with a mixture of sebum and keratin which builds up in the abnormal gland. This in itself can sometimes smell, even in the absence of infection. But it can be quite common for these to abcess and become concurrently infected.
@aerni77 it think if it's sebaceous, it's made up of fat hence the yellow pus like color, if it is an infection, it should've had an inflammation, and the pus would've reached out of the skin after some time, and there would be no need for cutting
@aerni77 Actually, the cyst isn't necessarily infected. You can get a cyst that is not infected. But you are correct in saying that she is full of crap for saying that it doesn't smell. What smells bad in what we call sebaceous cysts is a keratinous material with the consistency of cottage cheese.
@aerni77 You most certainly can develop a cyst in the absence of infection. I had four cysts on my scalp that were removed intact (the contents still contained in the sack), but never had any infection. They are genetic subaceous cysts and my mother had them as well. They can become infected and need to be removed, but if they are small and not infected, often the doctor will tell you that if it isn't bothering you, leave it alone.
This person is a nurse?? What does she mean it doesn't stink cuz it's not infected??? when you are pushing stuff out of a "cyst" you need to feel to the end of the ball and go from under an push up....I'm suprised how many dr. an nurses don't know that.
Nice job. I was waiting to see if you were going to pack that lovely hole. "ValleyJulie" I am assuming she packed it due to the depth of the hole upon removing the encapsulated cyst. Nice Job Nurse. Cheers!
do not stab too deep, so it´s dangerorus when the "material" goes to the inside!Pull it a bit apart before you squeeze! Clean the hole after you pull the skin outside with H2o hydrogene (Same mixed potential like the dentist use)
Why would you pack a sebaceous cyst? If you get the sack out there isn't anything else to drain. I didn't see any infection there.
Other than that you did a great job of getting that drained! You are a good nurse. Did you get your instruments from work? Nice job of keeping everything sterile. I do agree with one thing mookzmom said... closer shots with the camera would have shown things better. It's called a "zoom" button. Thanks!
Good job! Thanks for sharing this. My only suggestion for next time would be to try to get closer in shots. This video has been submitted to the website "Pop that Zit.com". Congratulations!

Nice job. I was waiting to see if you were going to pack that lovely hole. "ValleyJulie" I am assuming she packed it due to the depth of the hole upon removing the encapsulated cyst. Nice Job Nurse. Cheers!

Iodoform? Surgical tools? Are you supposed to be using all of that at your home?

do not stab too deep, so it´s dangerorus when the "material" goes to the inside!Pull it a bit apart before you squeeze! Clean the hole after you pull the skin outside with H2o hydrogene (Same mixed potential like the dentist use)
But you do a good job....
