God's Words...Never Cease

I really wish I could read the original scrolls, the bible (king james) has been passed down for more than 2,000 years, and it's supposed to be error free because it's gods word, but yet there are errors all threw it, I read the bible (king james) and see "thou shalt not kill" but then it sais to kill certain people that sin. ? ? I am not stupid, I know that the book has been edited in the past 2,000 years, am I really supposed to put my trust in the mortals that wrote it? I'd rather prey.

He said, "Whenever the authorized ministry of Christ has been on the earth"... He sounds as if its been off & on. All who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord & Savior are authorized by Christ himself to minister, & that has been his promise since he was here on earth.

I don't think he thinks anyone should be denied of sharing the gospel, but meant that prophetic revelations only come with authorized apostles and prophets. You may disagree but for clarity, Mormons believed there was an apostasy.

Do you have a scripture reference for your question?All peace comes from God, and to be in His presence brings that. Can you imagine that we can live in a place where the cares of the world are gone, and peace is there because you are surrounded by the followers of God? This is my guess. In Heaven I believe that the Lord has many things for us to do; we're more than pee on harp angels to him, we're his Children. Heaven is centered around families and the joy that comes from them. make sense?

Not that I know! I've seen some pretty sad comments from critics of the Church. I believe that only those who are profane, vulgar or offensive are taken out but offensive defined as comments that use innappropriate language or are plain disrespectful of the Lord or other commentators. The Church and its members welcome opposite points of view although tolerance doesn't include acceptance. I've been member of the LDS CHurch since 1976.
