He blew the motor. There was a Big puddle of oil underneath it.

Listen to it before he cuts it off, it's hitting all 8 cylinders. For oil to be leaking from a blown engine would mean it had a catastrophic failure in the bottom end (most likely broke a connecting rod), but that only happens when you lift out of the throttle and the drivetrain backlashes. And even still, it wouldn't have been running at all if the bottom end had come apart. Doing a burnout, the most likely thing that would've blown an engine would be dropping a valve. And again, it wouldn't

have been running. At least not smoothly. It would've sounded had consistent 'ticks' or 'taps' from the valve bouncing around on top of the pistol. If there was oil under the car, it was most likely from a blown oil line. NASCAR runs dry-sump oil systems, which is why they have so many lines under the hood... Point is, you're not gonna blow up a HMS engine by doing a few burnouts =)
