Could you please tell me which recording it this? I have been looking for a good Callas Medea in vain..is this the Dallas one?

@mkhliefat . No, this is not Dallas "live" 1958. This is the 1957 Studio recording. (Tullio Serafin - La Scala - EMI records).

@mkhliefat The 58 Dallas and the 53 Florence are her greatest triumphs in this role. The 57 studio version is terrific, but the conductor made MANY cuts (some brilliant, and some unfortunate).
