  • total babe!!

  • Quenepas is what its called in PR

  • Love those things, i find they taste like a cross bread between a grape and mango. sweet as a grape yet fleshy and slightly tangy like mango.

  • its called a guinep. they are filed with Citrus

  • i love these super tasty. i would agree they do sorta taste like grapes, like small green grapes the sour ones maybe a lil kiwi taste mixed in as well. some are better than others some really sweet some kinda sour. this lady in the vid seems to have a tough time eating them though. all you do is bit the skin and it pops and the seed slides right out, just suck on it til the flesh is all gone. i hear you can eat the seeds after roasting but never tried it.

  • only jamaica has the ones where they just melt in your mouth and not stringy and sour

  • i hate them they just stick to the top of you mouth and your toungue i havent ate one in 2 years

  • 'MYSTERIOUS JAMAICAN FRUIT" ???

It's only mysterious to you. Maybe because its the only thing you haven't found, raped and capitalized off yet.

  • @mikeygeneral good one

  • ahhh el mamoncillo!! boricuas call them quenepa, and they are sold on nearly every busy intersection in miami for a few months of the year! related to the lychee.. i know where a few trees are planted here in the city so i forage for my own stash when they're in season... i had some delicious ones in santo domingo a few months ago, with mostly flesh and barely any seed. very refreshing

  • some ppl neeed to calm down, they on here arguing abut which island has better fruits.that is just overdoinit, we argue bout which island is better already so now why argue about which fruit is better, who cares they all taste the same and they all from the caribbean so calm down dang. so immature. and in Trinidad we call it Chenette.
