13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it,[a] but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us
(James 4:11) 11 Dont speak evil against each other, dear brothers and sisters.[a] If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging Gods law. But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you.
(Ephesians 5:15-18) 15 So be careful how you live. Dont live like fools, but like those who are wise. 16 Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. 17 Dont act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.
Know and understand our REAL GOD ALMIGHTY... The one who create us and has a plan & purpose for all of us. The only truth to know our God is His WORD. The BIBLE. Do you really know who you are? Do you know your purpose and why you exist on earth? Do you know where you're going after death? Ask, knock, seek and you will find the truth.. The truth is in the Bible.
Noah's Ark found? Be skeptical, but also be open-minded folks. A team of researchers from Hong Kong claimed they are 99.9% sure that it's Noah's Ark. ABC News mentioned the carbon dating of the Ark's materials is about 4800 BC. Indeed, I shall say that God certainly has His own timing and his own way of surprising His creations if this discovery is true.
@greenmanadragon i don't know where your getting this from but you have no idea wat your talking about. Just because your rich or poor dosen't matter.
@greenmanadragon That's not true. Whatever you say. No one born rich to be Christian, except they have to work hard to get there; poor or rich should believe in God and let God be the judge of their lives.
Seeing is believing.Yet the world believe in the BIG BANG theory and Scientist concluded Emptiness reign space before Matter was.Did Moses recorded that in Genesis?Just believe and have faith.
Father we turn to you to help our brothers and sisters lost in this mist of technology and science. We know that in coming time you will open each heart that they might see the Joy to know you but for most that we aren't the physical enemy but engaged in a spiritual fight we praise in Jesus name AMEN.
sad to see the world at disagreement with evidence, proof and scientific reasoning to believe in something. we love not because we want proof but because we feel it, and so it seems that reading all these responses aims to one target, EVIDENCE in believing. Its really sad, why does the world have to SEE everything before something happens. can't we just listen to a song! and what are lies, what are you comparing the "LIES" to? who says there is, and isn't a GOD?
"U keep saying Merry Christmas but iam so sorry U didn't know the meaning"
When did I say that?
BTW: you're wrong, "December 25th" is not Jesus birthday...do some research and you'll see. Christmas was a Pagan celebration of the winter solstice, until the Christian took it over.
...if you have a Christmas tree in your home, you're offending God. Jeremiah 10:2-4
...Hey jackychanjr1, "I want to write mix of hmong/English to pissed u off bro"
Gosh, you must be very clever aren't you? What are you? A fifth grader? Go on, go and hide...let's play ball. Let's see how far can you go until you stop hiding.
BTW: your comeback should be "HA HA I can write Hmong and I like to hide behind words".
Do I sense a little innuendo? If you want a flame war...bring it on.
So, according to your logic...by me asking you not to hide behind the Hmong language (so everyone will understand), suddenly I don't appreciate the Hmong culture?
I presume you're a Christian right?
So, what happen to "Thou shalt not judge"?
...I'll take a step further and ask where did I say that I disrespect other people's "BELIEFS".
...Boy, for a bold talk...your words are as empty as your innuendo.
I'm sorry you can't read in Hmong maybe you should learn your Hmong. You don't have to believe, but can you at least just have respect for those who are Christain? Ua Vajtswv Tsaug!
Respect? Are you serious? Why should I have any respect for rubbish and groundless claims? You're the one who's making things up without any evidences...and you're telling me to respect you for lying? What happen to thou shall not lie? Very "Christian-like" of you... You don't respect "facts", therefore, respect should be the least of your concern.
...now, go ahead and tell me that you didn't make stuff up (the lies).
Thank you for pointing out that the name of Jesus still has the power to drive out demons today. It's a living proof that Jesus is God, and He is who He claims He is. No one else can consistently cast out evil spirits countless times throughout generations like the name of Jesus. Jesus himself performed these miracles when He was on earth. Many people around the world have been delivered, and they will forever be thankful. No one can deny that!
Last months, my daughter lub plab mob heev li nws tus doctor said to take her to the ER if she has stomach pain again. Later she started crying and hold her stomach in so much pain. Geography class? Yea, but it was a waste of my money - I complained that to a friend. I appreciated my geology and meteorology classes more.
Good luck to you, my atheist friend. If you're ever at the point of your life where everything else fails, give Jesus a try.
You have asked me a question, but it's not a new one. Whether you are sincere or not, it's not necessary for me to repeat again here. Merry Christmas and happy new year to you and your family.
I haven't really asked you a question, but you're right...even if I was to ask you a question directly, it'll be the same one every Atheist would ask because those questions will never (hopefully) be answered.
Joel Rosenberg's book "DEAD HEAT" is worth reading if anyone has time. It's fictional for a purpose, but his concepts of current global geopolitics are derived from the biblical endtime scenarios. A reader will appreciate his works more if s/he has some basic knowledges of bible prophecy. If the world super power military leaders ask for a briefing from him, may be we might gain some useful perspectives from him.
The point was that Bill Wiese's story is not an isolated incident. There are many, many stories like his that were told throughout the ages by many people from different parts of the world. The Bible also supports their stories, and many of these people shared their experiences without profits. Of course, I won't believe just a few stories or experiments. That's foolish.
Historians said Hmong(miaos) and a few other nationalities are descendants of Ham. Ham is one of Noah's three sons. If we think that our ancestor ends at Chi-You, the Hmong king, then he is probably not a believer in God. However, if we trace our ancestors root beyond our king Chi-You, then our ancestor Noah is a great believer in God. Believing in a true God is really our original culture and tradition.
KuvNtseeg, have you ever taken a history class or better yet a Geography class? The "story" of Noah has been debunked many time, I hope you catch up and get updated with the rest of the other Christian apologetic.
Bill Wiese saw the searing flames of hell, felt total isolation, and experienced the putrid and rotting stench, deafening screams of agony, terrorizing demons, and finally, the strong hand of God lifting him out of the pit. "Tell them I am coming very, very soon!"
Don't forget that there are a lot of chinese christians and korean christians too. Their people didn't say that they're a disgrace. Yes, I agree, we must look up for our parents. Love them, honor them, and respect them. We must also love others and our Hmong people as ourselves. Furthermore, we must love and honor God since He created us.
Slaves to American's religion/culture. Disgrace Hmong people. GOD is not for Asian, especially not for Minority HMONG People like you. this is a disgrace to all ya'll ancestors. Your duty is your mom & dad - look up for them and you'll do just fine. God has his own cause... you are your own destiny. You Hmong christians worship god like crazy. What a shame calling yourself Hmong.
Go ahead to your hearts content, bash our GOD, the creator of you. When you are called, you'll understand where we Christians are coming from. If you're interested to know more, I highly recommend you look into one of the local Hmong churches, It's hard to believe what others are saying and you are entitled to your opinions so find out for yourself. I wish you luck and I'll be praying for you.
Come on now, I spent a year on biblical history in college and was a member of the Lutheran Church. So I think I'm pretty sure I know "where" you Christians are coming from.
...but what's interesting is how do you know that GOD created ME? Or better yet...everything else!
Please do explain...if you can, you'll be the FIRST Christian to know how the galaxy got created and everything beyond that.
Doctors may not cure cancers with prayers, but they cannot cure every cancers and sicknesses. So, prayer is still relevant on earth. Infact, some cancers are healed through prayers.
Thousands and thousands of stories told by doctors and near-death people confirm what Jesus said in the Bible: Heaven exists, Hell exists, and God exists. I know I will die someday for sure. This doesn't need any proof, or does it? I believe in God, because it's the most logical option for a good outcome. Curing a cancer is good but doesn't prevent me from dying. If I'm dead, the super new cars that are in the pipeline due to arrive in 30yrs do no good for me.
Jesus, doctors, and near-death people know more about death and the afterlife. Everyone else doesn't know much. Who would you believe? Jesus knows because He died and rose again from the death. The Doctors know because they see people die everyday and talk to the dyings everyday. The near-death people know because they have been at the gate of death and see the world beyond.
CHICAGO (AP) — A survey examining religion in medicine found that most U.S. doctors believe in God and an afterlife — a surprising degree of spirituality in a science-based field, researchers say.
In the survey of 1,044 doctors nationwide, 76% said they believe in God, 59% said they believe in some sort of afterlife, and 55% said their religious beliefs influence how they practice medicine.
"We were surprised to find that physicians were as religious as they apparently are," said Dr. Farr Curlin, a researcher at the University of Chicago's MacLean Center for Clinical Medical Ethics.
What does that have to do with anything; that doesn't mean that there's a God. It's irrelevant to the argument. Beside, you don't see (medical) Doctors healing cancers with prays do you?
One cannot overlook the content of the Bible. It's so powerful. It poetically describes the origin of our world, human, languages, and every species. It talks about God's power througout history. The power to predict the future is stunning. It predicted the creation of the nation of Israel, the war of Armaggadon, 666, the end of the world, etc. These things look very plausible now. Also, how can this world sustain itself forever? The world will be overpopulated someday.
Hmmm, how can one believes these things? His claims are only based on a few experiments. It's very sad to see that there are plenty of prominent critics of his works.
Chris Rutkowski of the University of Manitoba said that Dr. Persinger's theory is unscientific and has a severe flaws.
Keep believing in Jesus. If there are no God and heaven, you have nothing to lose. If God and heaven exist, you will have eternity to gain. That's very logical and rational.
We only knew about hell, so we send our death to hell - it seems. Is the death poem a product of someone's near-death experience or nightmare? I don't now, but it's interesting one. Anyway, there may exist a realm that's beyond our physical world. The Bible also talks about heaven and hell. Infact, Jesus said He prepares heaven for the believers!
Don't express empty groundless claims if you can't prove it. It's very immature.
BTW: your "near-death experience or nightmare" can be achieve with a magnets to the front temporal lobe. The study was done by Dr. Michael Persinger. Nice try.
If you believe in Jesus Christ, you will see Him someday in heaven. I do. You don't have to look far. Many near-death experience stories that chronicled by many hospital doctors(east to west) talk about heaven and hell. Many people see God, the Light. Many see Lucifer and hell. Hmong people even have a death poem to send our death to hell. It's sad because, historically, our people didn't know God so it seems like we didn't know about heaven.
One last post, my friend. As a friend, I asked you couple questions, and you said you're protected by the "burnden-of-proof". That's selfish. As an atheist, you are claiming big time that there is no God.
Last observation:
As long as I continue to see order and intelligence in nature, as long as I continue to hear or see miracles, and as long as I continue to see christian believers cast out demons using the name of Jesus, then that gives me a small hint that my God still lives.
Did I ever claim that there wasn't a God? Atheism is the lack of evidences for a God or any super being, get it right.
You still don't understand what "burden of proof" is and how it apply to your claims...so we'll just leave it at that.
As for your observations: If that's all it takes for you to believe in a God, then your "standard of evidences" are poorly constructed and easy to manipulate; therefore, you'll believe just about anything without proof.
I agree...Christians need to learn more about their own God. Apparently you all do, almost all the Christians that I talk to have different views and interpretation of God, Jesus, the bible, and etc. They all claim to have the right answers. So you tell me...
BTW: I'm an Atheist, not an evolutionist only. I believe in what is logical and rational.
God's people will always get rocks thrown at them. I hope you know where you're going when you die. Because I know where i'm going. I am not afraid to die. I am ready anytime when He calls for me. I really hope you will know whats the truth and not by realizing what you see day by day... but by Faith.
even if i die in a car accident today, if a robber comes in my house and murder me, of course i'll be in pain and in fear, but at that moment, when i die, i know i will see God holding my hand and waiting for me to come into the Gates of Heaven.
thats good and logical that you say you will see God.. everyone will see God... but when you die and stand in front of Him.. He askes you, "Why should i let you into my kingdom of Heaven?".. and "what would you say"..?? you see the streets of gold and so many wonderful things there that on earth we do not have. u want to stay up in heaven but what can you tell God what you earn the place to stay..?? not just you will get asked, but every soul on earth will be asked when we all die..
I'm going to stop you before you start sounding like a broken record.
What I'm hearing from you are "hot-air", you actually have no proof to what you're saying. You're making stuff up as you go along, you either be logical about your position or just admit that you believe in Blind Faith.
so there fore, i am not afraid to die. i know where i am going. i dont believe in carnation or rebirth. what for.? to wish to become somthing better..? Nope. if you want to become somthing or someone better.. put your hopes and believe in Him and you will live forever with Him. not grow old and gray... but happy and young. in an Enternal Life with Him. Jesus Christ.
Hi, there my friend. I don't want our discussions here turn into an argument between creationism and darwinian evolution. It's not fruitful. I am not interested. I call myself a believer in Jesus Christ, and not a creationist. We have heard more than enough about those things. We have studied sciences more we need to know already. But at the end, for me, I realize that sciences alone cannot answer many of my tough questions.
Science never claim to answer all your questions, we use science to study what's reality and how we can benefit from it. Not just guessing and making stuff up.
"We have studied sciences more we need to know already"
...and you said you're not a creationist? That comment was very disturbing, according to you we shouldn't expand our knowledge. Great way of putting it.
I respect my God, because it's true. I have seen my real grandpa returned back to the grave and eventaully become a pile of dirt again. If you believe in evolution, then you must accept that ape is the super long distant great grandpa. How can you deny that?
No doubt I accept evolution because it is a fact and not a theory anymore. Even the Vatican has accept evolution and so does countless other believers.
BTW: I do suggest you do more research on evolution before you try to argue against it, your answer to me sound very...amateurish.
Well, my friend. Like you said, I have tried and felt that I failed. You have not shared with me your logic and reasonings. You merely gave me criticisms just here and there. For me, I like to share openly what I believe and what I don't believe. It's not a crime. I believe that it helps more than destorys. I like to expound more on the subject of AIDS further but felt that there is no need at this point. Anyway, your three questions should just be one since they are just disease.
Yes, my friend. You seem like a reasonable and intelligent person, but don't let your peers lock you up in the world of darwinian evolution. It can only take you so far, and the explanation will get absurd. You want to know thing that's laughable. Someone not long ago told me that my long lost grandpa was an ape. I didn't laugh, though, but chuckled and left with disbelief. I kind felt little insulted too.
If you think that your grandpa was an "ape" then you know nothing about evolution. BTW; if that's laughable then you should be laughing at how God created your grandpa with a pile of dirt.
Ok, I'm back. I like to make one more comment about the question "who created God?" before I move on. I have heard this question for a long time, and this is my conclusion. I believe that no one created God. God is eternal. God is almighty and present everywhere. There is only one God, because no has yet proven to me that there are multiple Gods. If no one has evidences or clues to prove that God was created, then there is only one true God. It's just an empty question.
It's somewhat sad too see that so many people in our world didn't know God. They called Him mother nature. Scientists refer to God's Laws as natural or physical laws. They are all one and the same. Natural phenomenons or acts of God happen everyday without our approvals.
Well ... let's say that some scientists might be right and some might be wrong since not everyone agrees to the same conclusion. When it comes to the "origin" of our universe or species, it's no longer sciences. They are theories, ideas, or pseodo scientific religions. I'm not trying to defend or discredit any of these theories. No, not me. I merely try to be objective about somethings that we should not ignore, and for the record, I don't know everything.
Nothing is more sad than a person pretends to know things that he/she doesn't know, and especially you know that s/he doesn't know.
Who created God? Lots of people asked that question, and lots of people have answered it. Here is only my humble opinion. God is eternal. His existence is outside time, space, and matters. It's difficult, if not impossible, for us mortal men to explain the realm of God.
If we are in the spiritual realm and outside time, space, and matters, than my answer will be more accurate ... I'm sure. I don't want to paint a false picture and lead someone astray here. Also, I accept that, may be, it's not knowable by using all our earthly experiences.
Now, let's leave the question "who created God?" and get back to what we are talking about here: The existence of God. We might not see God, but we will see His foot prints or His works in our world.
(for the millionth time) If God is outside time, space, and matters. Then how do you know and demonstrate how God is outside of time, space, and matters? You are trying to solve a mystery with a mystery and are making a bold exception of your claims. When logic and reasoning are ignore...you have no ground for your positional claims.
I'm sorry but when you claim to understand and know there is a God and then back paddle to not discredit actual science. What you are doing is call Fallacy, your logical reasoning makes absolutely no sense. If you're a believer...you have to discredit all scientific theories...even if they are FACTS.
About modern biology eh. For the longest time scientists believed that our world is nothing more than matter and energy. That's it! It's a dumb universe or system. Therefore, there is no God. But, voila, come along modern biology. It proves that there are more than matter and energy in our world. There is a third component: Information. Where is information coming from?
Modern biology said that amino acid is the building block of protein, and protein is the building block of cell. So, when proteins build a cell, they must get the information(or blue print) from DNA to construct a cell. They build things at the microscopic level according to this information. So, again, you will find that there is intelligence here. This world doesn't follow the patteren of chaos or disorders. It appears to follow the work of design.
"intelligence" proves God? That's laughable...I guess the creationist institute should have won the Nobel prize when they submitted that claim for peer review.
Now, how do we know that God is outside time, space, and matter? It's obvious. The last time I checked, God still didn't have a funeral. God is eternal, remember. 3000 years ago, the Israelites prayed to the same God that I pray to today. God still lives. Therefore, time doesn't affect God. He is outside time! He doesn't die, so it doesn't appear that He has any carbon atoms in Him. He has no matters. It follows that if you don't have matters, you will not occupy any space, or do you?
The earth must rotate at the right speed, and the speed axis must be tilted to the right angle to provide seasons. There are too many things that must be RIGHT for life to exist on earth. This suggests that this system is the work of design and not chance. Now who is that designer? If we explore all the earth's information database, the God of the Bible is the best candidate. In fact, He claims He created it.
The sun, moon, and earth function perfectly like clockworks, each has its own unique purpose and contribution. To provide energy, seasons, gravity and other important elements for life on earth, the relative distances between them must be right. They must be located exactly where they are. Otherwise, temperature and other factors willbe exreme, and life cannot exist. Their sizes must be right to provide the correct gravitational pulls. Otherwise, their trajectories will be out of control.
Questioning the existence of God is nothing new, and it's actually healthy. You are not alone. Many people throughout the ages had asked the same question, including our hmoob guys. Many years ago, I was a young Physics student and I asked lots of questions too. Anyway, I don't see any contradiction in these first two chapters in Genesis with real sciences. Our modern day discoveries seem to suggest that they were created rather than happened by chance.
kaox44, i'm sorry to hear that you refuse to believe what you know to be true intuitively. we shall pray and hope that you find truth in Christ. but as for me, i'll stop giving you reasons to keep disbelieving now. may you find the lord in ur life b4 it's too late brother. god bless ya.
It's ok if you dont believe so, Kaox, lol, no one is forcing you xD, i believe in God-and it's not because my family goes to church or because someone tells me to-i believe in God because i've research his words and values and it's the only one that brings peace in me. SO yeah i may not know it all like you but i know im happy with God. Best of luck in your spiritual journey.
Great, so...if your God is as described, what part of what I said is un-true?
BTW; I never said anyone was "forcing" me to believe. What bothers me is that people are using the "bible" as facts and giving up their own cultures(trade one for another) because they have no other possibilities (logical and rational). Especially for our Hmong people, we have a beautiful heritage and I'll hate to see it disappear.
Yeah i understand how you feel about our heritage but there are some traditions that we have to let go simply because it's wrong-and yes I do use the Bible for guidance but i dont erase everything in my heritage-in fact i probably know more than most none christians but it's probably because i treasure the goods in our heritage just letting go of the ones that could really harm others. A lot of our generations are losing the value of our culture regardless of their religion.
I'm glade to hear that you still keep some of our culture and heritage, but as time progress...it'll slowly fade away...especially ones that goes against your God.
One thing you said that kinda got me puzzled, you said "simply because it's wrong". How do you know its wrong when the Judeo-Christian God has not been proven right? It takes "faith" to believe both...so I don't understand the logic behind it.
xD, here are some examples that are wrong, arranged marriages-force marriages, burning useless paper believing it's money for the dead, send out bad spirits to attack those that you dont like, getting drunk at weddings (sigh alcohol poisoning), a wife is only 5k...etc
The best way to go about it is to share the goods in our heritage and keep passing it on-but i do feel that when we as individuals start pointing fingers and blaming others for losing our heritage then we have already lost the war-KEEP the GOODS let go of the BAD and share the LOVE.
It's not pointing finger when you "are" actually giving up part of your culture...it's a fact.
..."KEEP the GOODS let go of the BAD and share the LOVE"...so are you saying that we Hmong can't do this with our own culture and traditions...unless you belive in the Christian God?
well i think some things are meant to let go of. such as the shamanism thing. religion is part of culture but this type of religion is the wrong one. we gotta let that one go and believe in the correct form, which is Christianity, the only true religion.
Again, how do you know that Shamanism is wrong when the Judeo-Christian God has not been proven correct? Your reasoning is illogical and very unwise to say such a thing.
Shamanism is totally wrong, lol, my family practiced it for over 10 years...for one if you do not feed your ancestor spirits-they harm you, LOL, do it wrong-they harm you, shamanism is a fraud for money-and yeah my family paid the ultimate price with my sister's life for shamanism-and all the crap about your spirits leaving your body and needs to call it back tsk tsk, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if your spirit leaves your body = you're dead, shamanism =my family went broke
Smanshouse, I'm going to keep this short. Listen, do you even listen to what you are saying? Really? Of course Shamanism doesn't make sense...same as your Christian God. You proved it yourself on what you just said.
LOL, sigh, Mr Know it alll-well good luck to you- you can count me out if it comes to upholding the hmong ways-i will keep trying to follow God to my last breath. Again good luck and goodbye.
I never asked you (or anyone). So what's your point?
As for the personal attacks (mr know it all), I wont flame you because I'll leave that kind of stuff to you. Unless you want me to then I'll gladly oblige.
you don't need facts for Christianity. the only thing you need is to believe. have you heard the story of how Hmong people became Christian? i'll tell you the best way i can remember. there was a VERY hmong shaman village back in time. i think it wasnt that long ago, maybe 100 years, but there was suppose to be a mission to that village but no missionary wanted to go to it because they heard that all the missionaries that went there failed. so then there were these 2 couples that decided to take
on the mission and visit the village. when they got there they didint have a place to stay. so the head leader/chief, who was the 'top' shaman dude, told them they could stay in one of the houses. but what he didnt tell them was that it was filled with evil spirits and they would die the moment they went in. a week or so passed and the 2 missionary couples didnt die yet and this puzzled the leader. he asked them why they havent been taken away yet by the spirits and they told him that they had
faith in the Lord that HE would protect them and He DID. that's when the leader decided to change the religion and followed Christianity, or that's how the Hmong became aware of it. yes, i believe in evil spirits and ghosts, and demons but i'm not crazy enough to do Shamanism. i believe that if there are such spirits in the world then God has to be real. and God has also shown himself to me, not physically or anything but through prayer requests that he has talked through other people. and that
is enough reason for me to believe and have faith that he exists. you may go against it because you havent witnessed His works/wonders for yourself but when you see it and know it's him you'll know what i'm talking about. so idc about facts or that other stuff. as long as i know He's there and watching, that's good enough for me. so you can't change my mind with your questions because there are only so many things we may know before He reveals the truth to us. "everything happens for a reason."
i can't prove it to you. it's something you have to find yourself. everyone has their own journey and in time God will show himself in a small or large amount of Him at a time. although i only got a touch of His reality, but that's good enough for me. i can't prove how God decides to work his wonders or answers prayers because that what he did to me. he answered my prayer in my time of need. and that story is real. ask your parents if they know about it.
If you can't prove it...how do you know its real (its just like how you said Shamanism is wrong)? Your "standard of evidences" is what we call a non-logical, meaningit doesnt take much for you to believe.
shamanism is wrong. think about your ways of doing shamanism. and my mom came from a SUPER shamanism family but even she realized that it was wrong. ive heard stories of such 'rituals' that you guys may/may not do. and the standard of evidences may seem non-logical to the untrained heart but once you see it in effect, it's all you need to believe.
You know that's BS, "the untrained heart"...come on now. I asked you to prove your claims and you said you can't. So, how are more "trained" then others? You're all over the place here.
one's heart who is not of God is lost and untrained. you need to change your ways and be found. you say it's BS because you're too much of a realist. you think that we probably came from monkeys. and how am i going all over the place when im answering you questions when you dont even answer mines? and for "untrained hearts" i kind of used it has a metaphor. but in a way my heart is more closer to God than your's you may know all the rules and stories of the Bible but that doesnt mean crap if you

God bless you all!

Noah's Ark found? Be skeptical, but also be open-minded folks. A team of researchers from Hong Kong claimed they are 99.9% sure that it's Noah's Ark. ABC News mentioned the carbon dating of the Ark's materials is about 4800 BC. Indeed, I shall say that God certainly has His own timing and his own way of surprising His creations if this discovery is true.

sad to see the world at disagreement with evidence, proof and scientific reasoning to believe in something. we love not because we want proof but because we feel it, and so it seems that reading all these responses aims to one target, EVIDENCE in believing. Its really sad, why does the world have to SEE everything before something happens. can't we just listen to a song! and what are lies, what are you comparing the "LIES" to? who says there is, and isn't a GOD?

So, what happen to "Thou shalt not judge"?

Thank you for pointing out that the name of Jesus still has the power to drive out demons today. It's a living proof that Jesus is God, and He is who He claims He is. No one else can consistently cast out evil spirits countless times throughout generations like the name of Jesus. Jesus himself performed these miracles when He was on earth. Many people around the world have been delivered, and they will forever be thankful. No one can deny that!

KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Jesus, doctors, and near-death people know more about death and the afterlife. Everyone else doesn't know much. Who would you believe? Jesus knows because He died and rose again from the death. The Doctors know because they see people die everyday and talk to the dyings everyday. The near-death people know because they have been at the gate of death and see the world beyond.

Survey: Most U.S. doctors believe in God

KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
KuvNtseeg,
Don't express empty groundless claims if you can't prove it. It's very immature.
BTW: your "near-death experience or nightmare" can be achieve with a magnets to the front temporal lobe. The study was done by Dr. Michael Persinger. Nice try.
kaox44 2 years ago
HlubOs,
If you believe in Jesus Christ, you will see Him someday in heaven.

Good Bye!
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Did I ever claim that there wasn't a God? Atheism is the lack of evidences for a God or any super being, get it right.
You still don't understand what "burden of proof" is and how it apply to your claims...so we'll just leave it at that.
As for your observations: If that's all it takes for you to believe in a God, then your "standard of evidences" are poorly constructed and easy to manipulate; therefore, you'll believe just about anything without proof.

KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Science never claim to answer all your questions, we use science to study what's reality and how we can benefit from it. Not just guessing and making stuff up.

No doubt I accept evolution because it is a fact and not a theory anymore. Even the Vatican has accept evolution and so does countless other believers.

KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
How can I share my logic and reasoning with you when logic and reasoning doesn't apply to you or your claims?
I'm sorry, but you're the one with the claims that there's a super-being...the burden-of-proof is on you.
The disease are of different type, it has no relation to either one, therefore, you must have 3 different explanation.
...yet, I've already given you the benefit of the doubt and all you have given me was "intelligence" and "God is outside of time".
kaox44 2 years ago
Yes, my friend. You seem like a reasonable and intelligent person, but don't let your peers lock you up in the world of darwinian evolution. It can only take you so far, and the explanation will get absurd. You want to know thing that's laughable. Someone not long ago told me that my long lost grandpa was an ape. I didn't laugh, though, but chuckled and left with disbelief. I kind felt little insulted too.

Also, I have not forgotten your other questions. It's just not time yet.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
On the other hand, there are plenty of signs or clues in our world that there might be a God somewhere. I will elaborate on that later ...
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Go ahead, enlighten me.
kaox44 2 years ago
Ok, I'm back. I like to make one more comment about the question "who created God?" before I move on. I have heard this question for a long time, and this is my conclusion. I believe that no one created God. God is eternal. God is almighty and present everywhere. There is only one God, because no has yet proven to me that there are multiple Gods. If no one has evidences or clues to prove that God was created, then there is only one true God. It's just an empty question.

...That didn't make any sense.
kaox44 2 years ago
It's somewhat sad too see that so many people in our world didn't know God. They called Him mother nature. Scientists refer to God's Laws as natural or physical laws. They are all one and the same. Natural phenomenons or acts of God happen everyday without our approvals.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Wow, the "Perfect creations" argument...that's a new one, your argument has been debunk so many time it's painful for me to do it again.
Anyways, for argument sake...lets say that you're right and all scientists are wrong about the origin of the universe and its species.
Who then created God? Who created cancers? Who created AIDS? Why God wont heal amputees?
kaox44 2 years ago
Well ... let's say that some scientists might be right and some might be wrong since not everyone agrees to the same conclusion.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Nothing is more sad than a person pretends to know things that he/she doesn't know, and especially you know that s/he doesn't know.
Who created God? Lots of people asked that question, and lots of people have answered it. Here is only my humble opinion. God is eternal. His existence is outside time, space, and matters. It's difficult, if not impossible, for us mortal men to explain the realm of God.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
If we are in the spiritual realm and outside time, space, and matters, than my answer will be more accurate ... I'm sure. I don't want to paint a false picture and lead someone astray here. Also, I accept that, may be, it's not knowable by using all our earthly experiences.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Now, let's leave the question "who created God?" and get back to what we are talking about here: The existence of God. We might not see God, but we will see His foot prints or His works in our world.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
To be continued ...
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
(for the millionth time) If God is outside time, space, and matters. Then how do you know and demonstrate how God is outside of time, space, and matters? You are trying to solve a mystery with a mystery and are making a bold exception of your claims. When logic and reasoning are ignore...you have no ground for your positional claims.
kaox44 2 years ago
I'm sorry but when you claim to understand and know there is a God and then back paddle to not discredit actual science. What you are doing is call Fallacy, your logical reasoning makes absolutely no sense. If you're a believer...you have to discredit all scientific theories...even if they are FACTS.
kaox44 2 years ago
Oh...k, which is it, actual science or scientific theories? Let's hear your facts. And, yes, I am a believer.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
both. Read a modern biology book.
kaox44 2 years ago
I am a believer, and ... you?
About modern biology eh. For the longest time scientists believed that our world is nothing more than matter and energy. That's it! It's a dumb universe or system. Therefore, there is no God. But, voila, come along modern biology. It proves that there are more than matter and energy in our world. There is a third component: Information. Where is information coming from?
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
"third component"? What kind of "information" are you talking about? Please do explain your claims.
Anyways, "dumb" universe? What logical scientist said that our world was a dumb universe? I have a feeling that this is all made up.
kaox44 2 years ago
Modern biology said that amino acid is the building block of protein, and protein is the building block of cell. So, when proteins build a cell, they must get the information(or blue print) from DNA to construct a cell. They build things at the microscopic level according to this information. So, again, you will find that there is intelligence here. This world doesn't follow the patteren of chaos or disorders. It appears to follow the work of design.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Find! I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that natural evolution is wrong.
Now, prove your designer:
Who's the designer for cancers?
Who's the designer for AIDS?
Who's the designer for small pox?
Who's the designer for God?
kaox44 2 years ago
You are repeating yourself.
Let's see. I already proved to you my designer when I said there is intelligence. I will not repeat that again.
Who's the designer for God? I already answered that. Won't repeat again.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
"Palm to face"
You haven't prove a thing...my friend.
"intelligence" proves God? That's laughable...I guess the creationist institute should have won the Nobel prize when they submitted that claim for peer review.
...nice try.
kaox44 2 years ago
So ... there is a designer, and I am susgesting that designer is God at the modern biology level and beyond.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Now, how do we know that God is outside time, space, and matter? It's obvious. The last time I checked, God still didn't have a funeral. God is eternal, remember. 3000 years ago, the Israelites prayed to the same God that I pray to today. God still lives. Therefore, time doesn't affect God. He is outside time! He doesn't die, so it doesn't appear that He has any carbon atoms in Him. He has no matters. It follows that if you don't have matters, you will not occupy any space, or do you?
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
The earth must rotate at the right speed, and the speed axis must be tilted to the right angle to provide seasons. There are too many things that must be RIGHT for life to exist on earth. This suggests that this system is the work of design and not chance. Now who is that designer? If we explore all the earth's information database, the God of the Bible is the best candidate. In fact, He claims He created it.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
The sun, moon, and earth function perfectly like clockworks, each has its own unique purpose and contribution. To provide energy, seasons, gravity and other important elements for life on earth, the relative distances between them must be right. They must be located exactly where they are. Otherwise, temperature and other factors willbe exreme, and life cannot exist. Their sizes must be right to provide the correct gravitational pulls. Otherwise, their trajectories will be out of control.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
Questioning the existence of God is nothing new, and it's actually healthy. You are not alone. Many people throughout the ages had asked the same question, including our hmoob guys. Many years ago, I was a young Physics student and I asked lots of questions too. Anyway, I don't see any contradiction in these first two chapters in Genesis with real sciences. Our modern day discoveries seem to suggest that they were created rather than happened by chance.
KuvNtseeg 2 years ago
kaox44, i'm sorry to hear that you refuse to believe what you know to be true intuitively. we shall pray and hope that you find truth in Christ. but as for me, i'll stop giving you reasons to keep disbelieving now. may you find the lord in ur life b4 it's too late brother. god bless ya.

Good one mate.
kaox44 2 years ago
And oh yeah thank you for all your replies it's been refreshing
smanshouse 2 years ago
LOL, yeah He's all that xD
It's ok if you dont believe so, Kaox, lol, no one is forcing you xD, i believe in God-and it's not because my family goes to church or because someone tells me to-i believe in God because i've research his words and values and it's the only one that brings peace in me. SO yeah i may not know it all like you but i know im happy with God. Best of luck in your spiritual journey.
smanshouse 2 years ago
Great, so...if your God is as described, what part of what I said is un-true?
BTW; I never said anyone was "forcing" me to believe. What bothers me is that people are using the "bible" as facts and giving up their own cultures(trade one for another) because they have no other possibilities (logical and rational). Especially for our Hmong people, we have a beautiful heritage and I'll hate to see it disappear.
kaox44 2 years ago
Yeah i understand how you feel about our heritage but there are some traditions that we have to let go simply because it's wrong-and yes I do use the Bible for guidance but i dont erase everything in my heritage-in fact i probably know more than most none christians but it's probably because i treasure the goods in our heritage just letting go of the ones that could really harm others. A lot of our generations are losing the value of our culture regardless of their religion.
smanshouse 2 years ago
I'm glade to hear that you still keep some of our culture and heritage, but as time progress...it'll slowly fade away...especially ones that goes against your God.
One thing you said that kinda got me puzzled, you said "simply because it's wrong". How do you know its wrong when the Judeo-Christian God has not been proven right? It takes "faith" to believe both...so I don't understand the logic behind it.
kaox44 2 years ago
xD, here are some examples that are wrong, arranged marriages-force marriages, burning useless paper believing it's money for the dead, send out bad spirits to attack those that you dont like, getting drunk at weddings (sigh alcohol poisoning), a wife is only 5k...etc
smanshouse 2 years ago
The ways of a true Christian isn't wrong at all, morally-if im wrong you can prove it to me.
smanshouse 2 years ago
The best way to go about it is to share the goods in our heritage and keep passing it on-but i do feel that when we as individuals start pointing fingers and blaming others for losing our heritage then we have already lost the war-KEEP the GOODS let go of the BAD and share the LOVE.
smanshouse 2 years ago
It's not pointing finger when you "are" actually giving up part of your culture...it's a fact.
..."KEEP the GOODS let go of the BAD and share the LOVE"...so are you saying that we Hmong can't do this with our own culture and traditions...unless you belive in the Christian God?
kaox44 2 years ago
well i think some things are meant to let go of. such as the shamanism thing. religion is part of culture but this type of religion is the wrong one. we gotta let that one go and believe in the correct form, which is Christianity, the only true religion.
miquemoua 2 years ago
Again, how do you know that Shamanism is wrong when the Judeo-Christian God has not been proven correct? Your reasoning is illogical and very unwise to say such a thing.
kaox44 2 years ago
Shamanism is totally wrong, lol, my family practiced it for over 10 years...for one if you do not feed your ancestor spirits-they harm you, LOL, do it wrong-they harm you, shamanism is a fraud for money-and yeah my family paid the ultimate price with my sister's life for shamanism-and all the crap about your spirits leaving your body and needs to call it back tsk tsk, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that if your spirit leaves your body = you're dead, shamanism =my family went broke
smanshouse 2 years ago
Smanshouse, I'm going to keep this short. Listen, do you even listen to what you are saying? Really? Of course Shamanism doesn't make sense...same as your Christian God. You proved it yourself on what you just said.
kaox44 2 years ago
LOL, sigh, Mr Know it alll-well good luck to you- you can count me out if it comes to upholding the hmong ways-i will keep trying to follow God to my last breath. Again good luck and goodbye.
smanshouse 2 years ago
I never asked you (or anyone). So what's your point?
As for the personal attacks (mr know it all), I wont flame you because I'll leave that kind of stuff to you. Unless you want me to then I'll gladly oblige.
kaox44 2 years ago
lol, xD
smanshouse 2 years ago
you don't need facts for Christianity. the only thing you need is to believe. have you heard the story of how Hmong people became Christian? i'll tell you the best way i can remember. there was a VERY hmong shaman village back in time. i think it wasnt that long ago, maybe 100 years, but there was suppose to be a mission to that village but no missionary wanted to go to it because they heard that all the missionaries that went there failed. so then there were these 2 couples that decided to take
miquemoua 2 years ago
on the mission and visit the village. when they got there they didint have a place to stay. so the head leader/chief, who was the 'top' shaman dude, told them they could stay in one of the houses. but what he didnt tell them was that it was filled with evil spirits and they would die the moment they went in. a week or so passed and the 2 missionary couples didnt die yet and this puzzled the leader. he asked them why they havent been taken away yet by the spirits and they told him that they had
miquemoua 2 years ago
faith in the Lord that HE would protect them and He DID. that's when the leader decided to change the religion and followed Christianity, or that's how the Hmong became aware of it. yes, i believe in evil spirits and ghosts, and demons but i'm not crazy enough to do Shamanism. i believe that if there are such spirits in the world then God has to be real. and God has also shown himself to me, not physically or anything but through prayer requests that he has talked through other people. and that
miquemoua 2 years ago
is enough reason for me to believe and have faith that he exists. you may go against it because you havent witnessed His works/wonders for yourself but when you see it and know it's him you'll know what i'm talking about. so idc about facts or that other stuff. as long as i know He's there and watching, that's good enough for me. so you can't change my mind with your questions because there are only so many things we may know before He reveals the truth to us. "everything happens for a reason."
miquemoua 2 years ago
You think telling me a story would be proof of God?
Let me ask you this...can a story or personal experiences manifest to reality? You seem to think so...please prove it to me.
kaox44 2 years ago
i can't prove it to you. it's something you have to find yourself. everyone has their own journey and in time God will show himself in a small or large amount of Him at a time. although i only got a touch of His reality, but that's good enough for me. i can't prove how God decides to work his wonders or answers prayers because that what he did to me. he answered my prayer in my time of need. and that story is real. ask your parents if they know about it.
miquemoua 2 years ago
If you can't prove it...how do you know its real (its just like how you said Shamanism is wrong)? Your "standard of evidences" is what we call a non-logical, meaningit doesnt take much for you to believe.
kaox44 2 years ago
shamanism is wrong. think about your ways of doing shamanism. and my mom came from a SUPER shamanism family but even she realized that it was wrong. ive heard stories of such 'rituals' that you guys may/may not do. and the standard of evidences may seem non-logical to the untrained heart but once you see it in effect, it's all you need to believe.
miquemoua 2 years ago
You know that's BS, "the untrained heart"...come on now. I asked you to prove your claims and you said you can't. So, how are more "trained" then others? You're all over the place here.
kaox44 2 years ago
one's heart who is not of God is lost and untrained. you need to change your ways and be found. you say it's BS because you're too much of a realist. you think that we probably came from monkeys. and how am i going all over the place when im answering you questions when you dont even answer mines? and for "untrained hearts" i kind of used it has a metaphor. but in a way my heart is more closer to God than your's you may know all the rules and stories of the Bible but that doesnt mean crap if you
