I absolutely LOVE Lauryn Hill, BUT this is NOT one of her best. In my opinion, her voice is more suited for the slow and soulful singing. I understand people grow and expand, but you must grow and expand in what fits YOU most. This was TERRIBLE, and it pains me to say it because I really love her not only as a vocalist, but all around. Please Lauryn, do some vocal exercises and get back on track. =) I

Her voice is definitely different than it was. It's not necessarily bad or good, just different than it was. Probably has to do with her singing so long and simple aging. It's definitely gruffer and more gravely.

Are you people on here crazy.........this is lauryn hill..........she can singggggggg and she don't take drugs cause she sounds a very smart lady, people need to listen to mtv unpluged of her show= she been through a lot with her x, so she changed her look and she sees different in life but much smarter and stronger i think anyways SHE IS THE BEST x

Her voice? Hopefully it's due to performing the hell out of her songs....rap n singing can take a toll. She might just be over worked. she doesn't like she's on drugs. I think she's smarter than that. But it is what it is. Everybody got problems...whether drinking, smoking, porn, devil worship. Human beings slip often.

@amoergosum3 i think she now puts all of her emotion into her voice and doesn't hold back like she used to, so she gives her voice totally to the people coming to her show, i bet she can hardly talk after giving so much emotion through her voice every performance. she knows that giving it all you got is more important than sounding perfect like the record

Crazy on point drummer impecable breaks, Bass player mad inspiring energy, Guitar players hella swaged out and original lines, Keys Perfect times to drop in the kut, Dj is a grand master, Horn section 2 trumpets bone tuba tenor, 3 background singers never out of tune always blending and singin gems of harmony, and Ms. Hill is riding the orchestra like Noahs Ark, a Queen!. @eugene771121 no its just how she sounds now :( but i've actually seen some rehearsal footage of hers in the past year and she seems to sound much better when she's just calm and rehearsal singing, but when she's hyped up and doing live shows she sounds bad. maybe she needs to just concentrate more when performing LOL but I still think she's great
