over 1 million dead Iraqis, roughly 5 million orphans in Iraq, Iraq's population was 30.1 million (in 2008) it is more or less 29 million (hypothetically) now.

Think about this 5 million of your youth population are war related orphans... in America that would be roughly 53 million orphans.. think about the implications that will have on the future of any country. and that isn't even getting into the wounded and deformed from DU conflict. Iraq is Fucked! who is gonna provide these kids?

Its important to bear in mind, that those people who did die in the conflict, were killed by the sadistic cut throats, thugs, and medievalists we are currently engaging around the world, and not by american troops. We are the reason more didn't die.

People should stop putting GWB's face on this conflict and perhaps put a face like this on it. Perhaps we could regain some domestic solidarity if everyone didn't envision a human bobble-head when they think of Iraq.

At least when it's all said and done secularism is what gained a victory from Iraq, not imperialism.

Since the 2003 invasion, almost the whole country has been destroyed. From 2004 to 2005, ongoing bloody battles took place between the US and insurgent forces.

During these events, pictures of the widespread prisoner abuse at Abu Ghraib were delivered to the world.

Starting 2006,  the sectarian violence greatly increased and the al Askari mosque bombing created a civil war.

So my question is : On which criteria are we basing ourselves on to say that this mission was a success ?
