  • I talk to Rick every so often and let me tell you- he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. A very personable guy. A genuine guy who, I wish, would run for office someday.

  • test

  • Santelli does a great job, he's been right on target for years. He was the first to say many things, now all the rest are repeating his words! He was against all bailouts all the way including AIG.Talked up transparency first, and the new normal. He fueled the Tea Parties and blew off Jon Stewart like no other.I'd say he earns his pay, as he is one of the few willing to stand up and boldly tell the truth!(That used to be the job of the media, yes?)It is true neworeans75 Rick is entertaining too!

  • Rick Santelli is an entertainer, a very rich one at that...and HE IS THE ESTABLISHMENT,

he took no sides when it came to AIG, or Fannie/Freddie (THE ESTABLISHMENT) bailouts, but for INDIVIDUALs, whoah, suddenly they are losers, SANTELLI IS A HYPOCRITE and HAS MADE MONEY FROM NO PRODUCTION or work, like the rest of wall street.

P.S-you use the word obvious too much and take a prozac!!

  • Well put. Could not have said it better myself. It's a pity that people not only will not do the research, but spout off complete nonsense and pretend to know it all. This man of truth is a man of limited knowledge.

  • Rick Santelli is awesome!

Thank god for good men who have some balls.

  • Traders are not producers!!!!!

  • I feel like you're being very glib.

The homeowners have little if any culpability. They were told by mortgage brokers who are essentially given a quota of mortgages to sell that the housing bubble would just keep growing & that their "models" projected this & that these homeowners should not worry that they cannot pay the loan NOW, because soon their house will be worth so much more that they can refinance at a newly adjusted rate. Man of God? Act as such and have compassion, please.

  • rick speaketh the truth

  • Obamunism = trickle up poverty

  • that kanzeon moron John Stewart is attacking rick santelli now, I use to like john stewart, watched his show sometimes, but he just lost a fan

John Stewart is a kanzeon moron

Rick Santelli is a GREAT american

  • I think you mean Keynesian. If you cannot spell the name, perhaps you should not intimate knowledge of the principles of the man's theories.

  • Natural Selection. Not rude, but honest, and taboo. Still around us as we speak, however it is something we have ignored. People are capable, but we reward failure and punish success. IMO, this breeds more rewarded failure at an exponential level. Human kindness and decency is a must, but not to this level. I'm all for helping someone in need, but I'm not going to support someone because "they dont want to". They would rather support a drug habbit, or whatever it may be.

  • Sadly, an animal in the wild gets severly injured, it dies. This has been nature for millions of years. No one bats an eye over it though. How many species do we wipe out by our highways. No one bats an eye over this either, I guess because they arent human, and thats whats the most important. Rewarding failure on any level seems wrong to me. We should inspire these to take responsibility. I'm sure I will get a few thumbs down, but I am only trying to be honest without bias.

  • This has ben stated others, but we have bred a entitlement society. "You owe me".

  • No, I think you're correct. If people want to be charitable, they can be with their own money and resources. It is not up to the government to take my money by force and decide who should get the fruit of my labor. If you run your business bad, we have a procedure--it's called bankruptcy, a humane way to keep people from being caught in economic slavery.

  • Santelli Rules!!!

  • Yes, he does - and so do you MOT!

  • ,Santelli is the man , Ron Paul has a plan, the New World Order is a sham

  • Yeah, that day I saw him smoking out side and told him hes my hero!

  • I like truthful people,, u otta run for president ,, or king of Idaho and Utah

  • How long will it take to count to one trillion if I count 1 digit per second

    1000000000000 seconds

    16666666666 minuites

    277777777hours

    11574074 days

    385802 months

    32150 years

    3215 decades

    about 321 generations

so if u started now you would be done in they year 34156

  • nice one!! Thanks, MOT

  • They won't use my money to pay for welfare, those days were over years ago. There is no reason that able bodied people can't grow their own food and build a shack.

  • Amen

  • I agree that the stimulus package is legalized theft and the funds from the stimulus package couldn't go to a better bank than Bank of America who has practiced legalized theft for years.

  • did he say 55 trillion?

  • I think the 55 trillion refer to the unfunded commitments that the US government has legislated itself into (with welfare, etc.)

Of course, the only way to pay for those is by printing money, Zimbabwe-style, which is what the Obama government will be embarking on now.

  • yes

  • I am phreaking depressed. I thought it was people vs. gov, but Fox poles show that more than 50% support Obama, government housing and government jobs. Now I think it's consitutionalists vs. morons. They are all over Youtube, telling how good it is to take money from "rich". I think this country will break up. Leeches will live in the East and California, but consitutionalists will move to the South or offshore. Ya can't fight 50% population...

  • fantastic right on comment!!!!!!

  • I said it before and I will say it again:

At this point there is no sense in claiming you are a Rep or Dem because from here on out it is the People vs The Gov.

The "People" made the Constitution and the people need to reinforce it. When the people feel we no longer have a Government that is "For the People" then the people need to stand up. At no other time in "my" life has this ever become more apparent then today... Remember it was written "By the People for The People"...

  • Awesome comment SendinK9

  • Thanks MOT,

Its a clear sign some people are lead naive victims of the Evening News and their "its right" "its wrong" commentary. If they keep broadcasting "bail out the non- viables!" people eventually will believe its right.

  • Hey , so you want 30 million people homeless a-ho? We are all responsible for the financial crisis, including the derivates traders who inflated the RE market. Only some lose their jobs on top of it. Moral values? Yes, call your neighbors losers, call them stupid, and watch them die is real Christian, and real American. Are you listening to yourself? The real losers are the ones not capable of compassion.

  • "LiarLama"

I guess it would be safe to say your home is in foreclosure?

Funny thing is I work hard and I pay my taxes and never missed a house payment in 15 years, I have done everything they told me to do and what was morally sound and your telling me this collapse is partially my fault??? How do you figure?

  • SendinK9 - no I am not in foreclosure and fortunately have a good job. But if my neighbor is drowning, i dont tell him he is stupid and walk away. And i dont want to see police cars all over the place pulling ppl out of their houses. That will be the end of America as we know it. That will be Katrina 1,000 times worse. Do i want to pay extra? no. But i have to suck it up because it is the right thing to do for fellow Americans.

  • 1.

    Liarlama

I guess this all depends on how broad a scope you are putting on the word "neighbors"... My neighbor next door? well of course I will help them and them me... Your neighbors, well I don't know them and really don't care about their good and welfare, the neighbors of the people who shouldn't have taken out home loans in the first place because...

  • 2.

they knew they couldn't afford it to the point they doctored their W-2's. well in that case SCREW THEM and those are the "stupid" ones we shouldn't be paying for and they are the ones that caused the problem. There are limitations to the action of "Help" and paying for some non-viable persons house is not one of them. The problem is this stimulus is designed to help out just those very non-viable people and this is where things are going to go south in a hurry for Obama.

  • LiarLama >>So this justifies stealing money from other people??? I do support soup kitchens and aid to homeless. Not stealing money by inflation and exorbitant taxes to fill the potholes, so that one can pay his mortgage. RENT!! Gov assistance ....... The new working class

  • 1.

    Jaycephus

Bush changed Texas pollution laws to favor power and oil companies, making Texas the most polluted state in the Union. During his tenure, Houston replaced Los Angeles as the most smog-ridden city in America. He cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas treasury to the tune of billions in borrowed money.

  • 2. He also set the record for the most executions by any governor in American history. With the help of his brother, the governor of Florida, and his father's appointments to the Supreme Court, He became President of the United States, after losing by over 500,000 votes.

  • woof ...

    bad doggie

    ate my stimulus check

    no biscuit

  • "Both parties offer us the same solution: Stimulus. The only difference is that the Reps wanted to spend more on tax cuts, etc"

Tax cuts don't "spend more." They save you more. The government doesn't have any money. It has your money. Tax cuts so you can keep more of what you earn is bad why again?

Oh, sure, tax cuts should also come with smaller government and less spending and less waste. Sounds good to me.

  • "Tax cuts don't "spend more." They save you more. The government doesn't have any money. It has your money."

Tax cuts ARE Stimulus. Instead of paying the IRS $3,000 in 2008 and getting a Stimulus rebate check for $250 in 2009 - A tax cut means you pay $2750 and get no rebate check.

A rose is a rose is a rose.

  • "Tax cuts ARE Stimulus. Instead of paying the IRS $3,000 in 2008 and getting a Stimulus rebate check for $250 in 2009 - A tax cut means you pay $2750 and get no rebate check."

I can't help but wonder how much that $300 rebate back actually costs after processing fees and other government red tape.

Also, it's still the mentality of "give your money to government because it knows how to spend it better than you do." It's not their money! It's yours!

  • WesSeid, I am not saying that the government did the correct thing with the Stimulus. What I was saying is that, Both Parties - Republicans and Democrats wanted a Stimulus. It is the only solution our Congress could think of.

The difference is that the Reps wanted to put money into the economy with tax cuts, etc and the Obama wanted other things.

My point: Stimulus is the only option Congress could come up. Both parties know it will not work or..it will not work fast.

  • Ordinary Americans (losers in Santelli jargon) will see the reality of Wall St. in rants like this.

Wall St. has destroyed American industry and society. Now that its scam is falling apart it wants to blame its victims and the government.

These people worship at the altar of the golden calf of the market. Now that their god is dying they think they can resurrect it by piling their victims onto the sacrificial pyre.

    It is heartless and sick.

  • siddhaam

GREAT COMMENT! I couldn't agree more. I do feel the Gov are somewhat victims but outside of this Wall St corruption it seems the Gov has a brand new agenda it its Wall St path and that is to head towards socialism which I feel the people (rightfully so) will rebel against. In the months to come we are going to see some riots. They are already protesting the Capitol about the BS Bailout.

  • Hi SendinK9.

We have social democracies here in Europe, and people still get to make loads of money and get rich. But they dont begrudge an unemployed man getting enough to feed his family.

America capitalism is heartless and sick.

In fact this whole deal is a symptom of the sickness of American capitalism.

I hope you guys can sort it out without blowing each others heads off.

I am rooting for Americans - not for capitalism.

  • D.

If you read the "Oath of enlistment" part of it states:

"I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

"I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God." (Title 10, US Code; "

    Its a contradiction in terms!

The Gov is domestic! and the Pres is giving to orders?

  • I saw CNBC, I then read the housing recovery aid package. I also read that 95% of America will get a tax cut and 3.5 million jobs will be created. So what's on about? Santelli came accross to me as yet another selfish moron, his first thoughts on attempts to help people were all about 'me me me its all about me, whats in it for me.' But i wouldn't expect anything less from mainstream and the trash that is CNBC. What a circus that interview was Uhhhhh 'vomit' !

  • I don't have a problem with helping an family that has lost jobs and have worked hard to have a nice home. The porblem is that people are getting in homes that they can't afford and are riding the house into the ground by getting loans aganist it and/or refinancing and have no intentions of paying the loan off. They take the money and leave the keys on the kitchen table.

  • Yes, I agree with you rimcculough on one point:

Having only purchased what I could afford in life - even though banks persistently solicited me to make huge loans, I get somewhat aggravated about the government lowering their payments, etc. However, even though it probably will not work, I guess the government feels like it HAD to do Something and the Stimulus package(s) are the result. Since, spending in the late 1930's was seen has helping the depression, that is all they know how to do.

  • Most the responses here about Santelli, probably had never heard of the man untill the other day. They need to go back to doing homework, Santelli is right on, They are probably upset because it was them he was refering to.

  • That was funny, you should be a comedian. Rick telling the truth about something he even admitted on national television, to not reading or knowing anything about. You truly are an example of blind faith and a role model for all lemmings. What's that noise, I think it Rush calling you, you better go see what he wants.

  • LOL, I have never been a Rush fan. He is not in my league. Not even close.

  • We are a socialist nation. Socialism is dying. Freedom will prevail in the not too distant future.

  • A.

    "Socialism is dying"

I hope that is true MOT because the people can no way fight the US military even if the Constitution says the Gov can not use the military against its people. I am suspicious about a couple of things.

    1. Why are our good old American troops being kept in Iraq?

    2. Why has the US military recruitment in the last 8 years been enlisting foreigners into the "state side" National Guard and other branches of the military.

  • B.

    My Answers:

    1. The good old true American troops in the desert will NEVER police their own people/families that are here in the US and the Gov knows it.

    2. The foreign body new recruitments I feel would have no problem with doing so especially since so many outside countries hate America and Americans. This is why they are being enlisted!

  • C.

I see no reason for Iraq or staying there especially now!

They are keeping those troops at bay for a reason. Lets not forget the soldier who stole a tank in SD years ago. Our boys would do the same in defense of their families, freedom and the salvation of America. The Constitution states the people have the right to stand & fight against the Gov in just such situations as today. However I don't feel we can and protesting will do nothing except insight Kent U events all over the nation.

  • Ok, I can sort of follow until point 2 of this post. You are absolutely crazy, paranoid, and insecrue to think that outside countries hate Americans. They love Americans. They hate our government. That's a fact a-hole.

  • ez

Not ALL the people but there are countries that many of the people can not stand America and Americans. That is a fact and I have had arguments with these people I am talking about. Bush has turned the heads, many countries hate the USA on the count of his actions. I am not crazy or paranoid, I am speaking from my own personal experience and the experience of others. Donald Trump in a 60 minutes interview even states that same, do you feel he is crazy? You need to look around a bit more.

  • Well, yes I think Trump is crazy. I wouldn't trust that man for nothing. His M.O. is to screw everyone that does business with him. Having said that I apologize for being snappy. My first impression was that you were fear mongering with an agenda. I don't think that is the case.

  • No problem brother... anyway no need for fear mongering because the truth is fear enough.

  • I hope you are wrong, since I suspect that freedom for you means survival of the fittest and rule by the strongest.

That might have been ok in the paleolithic, but I really hope enough of your fellow Americans have risen up the evolutionnary scale since then to ensure that you are wrong.

  • siddhaam

I hope I am wrong also, only time will tell but I can say it doesn't look good.

  • Hi senink9.

my comment about being wrong was in reply to manoftruth about socialism being dead.

  • siddham, I see your point. If there is complete collaspe and Democratic Socialism gives way to uh, "Freedom." - then what happens to the weaker in society? Will it be gang ruled by the strongest and those who stockpile weapons?

If there is ever a time for government to intervene it would be to keep people from starving or succumbing to gang rule violence.

What will this "Freedom" that is coming look like? It is unclear to me why that is preferrable? Or is it just unavoidable?

  • Clarissa2424, I am rooting for ordinary Americans - all of you, the weak and the strong. MOT wants a world in which to compete and fight for his freedom. Maybe he needs to prove his manhood. I dont know.

I think we need government to provide basic infrastructure and services and to protect the weak from the strong.

MOT & Co. seem to want some kind of primeval survival of the fittest world.

Maybe that's why they are addicted to the market - it's the closest thing to the jungle in our society.

  • All you aholes just dont get it, do you? Wall Street or Main Street, both streets are BANKRUPT, and you are just bailing out each others asses. WAKE THE F UCK UP MORONS !!!!!!!!!!

  • Gold now over $1,000 an ounce

I got mine at $700 an ounce

Glad I bought some after watching MOT's video on gold a few months ago!

  • Glad you did well with my reco. Many will not believe the posts I will make in the next few weeks.

  • Just keep posting brother, we, the ones with brains know the score.

  • you got it, bro

  • santelli went ballistic when 75 billions to help overextended homeowners. he wasn't that worked up when 700 billions + to bail out the wall street banks. yes, he was one of few who opposites paulson's plan but it was like a whisper compare with this outburst. with his trader friends in the background applauding, it's more like preaching to the choir.

  • At least the choir are singing real songs.

  • I'm really tired of people blaming the joe average mortgage holder for this collapse. Sure, there are irresponsible profiteers, but most of these people were suckered in by brokers who convinced them they were getting a good deal, so that the brokers could flip around and sell that deal to an investment bank. These sharks made their business convincing people these deals were safe, and it's sick to see the market high-stakes gamblers blaming the public for their own bad judgment.

  • How to get the economy out of the hopeless situation?

  • It won't

  • I probably shouldn't have asked. God bless america.

  • Hi MOT I am interested in your opinion on what form of silver to buy outside of the US. ...thanks...keep up the good work.

  • coins that are 90% silver.

  • MOT of course i agree and disagree with some of what you say. that is what makes you interesting. There is another guy that is publishing the truth with interviews of those involved with the markets and that you see on the mainstream. The channel is the stockgunslinger. Check it out and leave some comments. There have been interviews with Gerald Celente, John Williams, Jim Rogers, Peter Schiff, "Mish" Shedlock and others. All interviews are original material. Thanks for your passion

  • The global economy may be deteriorating even faster than it did during the Great Depression, Paul Volcker, a top adviser to President Barack Obama, said on Friday.

Volcker noted that industrial production around the world was declining even more rapidly than in the United States, which is itself under severe strain.

  • Yep, I caught that too. Thanks for posting that. I will have to do a video on just Volker. MOT

  • Not a bailout, takeover, or stimulus bill. It is simply payback to his backers, unions, acorn, pelosi's pork, etc.

  • I heard Cramer say something very similar today. He even said the Dow may go down to 3 or 4000. He is finally getting a bit real on some issues.

  • first falsehood (and needed correction) for you and for Santelli: This "rescue" and all the bailouts/takeovers do NOT involve taking money from you or from any of today's taxpayers... YOU ARE NOT PAYING FOR THIS, it is all borrowed money, some taxpayers of the future are gonna havta pay for it, but it sure aint you nor the Republicans who doubled the debt in the last 8 years nor spent $700 billion on wars all paid by borrowing... you guys have fun on your own little planet.

  • I am not republican. MOT

  • 1.

Well MOT you had me fooled because so much of what you speak defies the democrat's actions these days that is assuming you may be a democrat lol. however it also goes against much of the republican's action. Heres where I stand influenced by the last 8 to 10 years: I consider myself an independent, this means I am watching the actions of both parties from outside the bubble.

  • 2. Looking inside the bibble I don't like what I see on either side of the isle and certainly am sick and tired of taking one or the others part only to be let down time and time again. These days I don't see any sense in being part of any party. To me it has finally narrowed its way down to the People vs. The Government.

  • Both parties are complete socialists. Sad to say, but the republicans have been MUCH worse than the dems on spending the U.S. into oblivion. Ron Paul was fun and informative. Evil Rules, not Ron Paul and freedom. Goodbye U.S. !!!

  • A.

I agree MOT starting with the King Pin of spending George W. Bush. Baffling to me there are yet people still out there who defend him and his office... These are the same people who have enabled him over the years. I firmly believe if there was "No Bush" there would be "No Problems". Clinton actually had the deficit at ZERO before he left office and a surplus. True we would still have problems but nothing like it is today.

  • B.

People do not realize Bush bankrupted Texas with his tax cuts just before he left to go to Washington. He was also in dealings with Harken which is an oil company. Bush became a director and was hired as a "consultant" to Harken. He once held major shares until he dumped the stock just before they went bankrupt, many feel it was "inside" etc.

Lesson: You cant lose morals if you never had them in the first place.

  • Ummm, dude? Texas has never been bankrupt, and is in excellent shape compared to most states. We have barely had any increase in foreclosure at all in Central Texas. Businesses are moving here, BECAUSE of low taxes. We are PISSED because our fed tax dollars are going to bailout California and other failed states. It's not the tax-cut, it's the spending.

  • Jaycephus

Ummm Dude, have you read the stimulus bill? CSPAN has a state by state and a per capita breakdown on who gets what. Texas was 3rd in money received and their per capita was higher than California and New York number 1 and 2 respectively on money received. Looks like Rick Perry and co, were lying their asses off when they said the state wasn't in trouble. Texas is in just as bad a shape as the rest of the country. The folks down here are just so slow it takes a while for them to get ti.

  • Ummmm, Duuude, Perry intended to refuse the bailout at first. So no, we don't 'need' it. Of course, there is language in the bailout that the state legislatures can bypass the gov and just accept the money anyway, basically crapping on the Constitution once again. Texas is not in trouble and you provide nothing to back up the claim. And why should not any state be required to cut back on spending rather than be bailed out by others. Right now, I'm mad that TX is going to take money!

  • As a Texan, I agree with you, I'm pissed that they are taking federal money too. They should balance their budget and live within their means

  • Yes, I agree. But if Texas is slated to receive money, then it may simply be based on census popultion numbers or something. But it begs the question of why a state like Texas 'needs' bailout money when we had a $10bn surplus last year. (Granted, almost $6bn went to a Rainy Day fund, and half of the remainder went to pay tax-cuts on property taxes, so some morons claim Texas only had a $2bn surplus.) How are we bankrupt if we're saving money and rebating to taxpayers?

  • It is doubtful that we can 'borrow' even half of it. That means it's going to be pure printing, as in Zimbabwe. So, YES, WE ARE PAYING FOR IT! All of the dollars we have in the bank, receive in our paycheck, have in equity, are all being devalued in order to create the dollars to be spent in this & the coming failouts. It is obvious to most that the Reps got voted out of power. So now we have the Dems doubling-down on the mistakes of the Repbulicans. Can you see why people are pissed!?

  • THIS IS SOOOOOO AWEFUL, DEPRESSING, HORRIBLE. Manoftruth, you gonna pay everyone's psychology bills?

WATCH THIS WATCH THIS WATCH THIS!

    EVERYONE CHEER UP!!!!!

    watch?v=oujZQQWOznU&feature=ch annel_page

  • Well, my friends that grow gardens will be happier. Life is better when you face reality. If you want fantasy, there is plenty around. MOT

  • Unless you have a crystal ball, you have no idea how this is going to play out completely and in the meantime you're getting people all riled up and probably adding to the whole problem. Seeds that you can buy for gardens, BTW are only good for a couple of years and the resulting plants are sterile insofar as reproducing themselves. So then what?

Fantasy isn't all bad regardless...you should know first hand. It's people's way to deal and not fear. Nothing to fear but fear itself.

  • I know EXACTLY how this is going to play out! MOT

  • Could you give us a hint Big Bro!

    Good Video.

    Rev. Lonnie

  • MOT, I know that you think that you know and really believe that you mean well, but fact is that things are never as good as they seem NOR as bad as they seem. We also have the tool of past history to use from ALL THE OTHER TIMES THIS HAS HAPPENED, and yes, I KNOW that this is worse, but we'll go through this again many times in better and even worse scenereos. I just worry about people who are obsessed and ruining their own mental well being because of following doomsayers as yourself.

  • This has never happened before. Truth it its own defense.

  • I agree this has never happened before. Is it not true(truth) that even in 1929 and the 1930's, that America did not have the Great Debt that we have right now?

And that is what makes the difference between 1929 and 2009?

  • Also the fact that our money is now completely fiat, meaning no value except the world's confidence that it has value. In the GD, it was still backed by gold. This time we could have an inflationary depression, and that will be far worse than the deflationary GD. Confidence in the dollar will soon drop as our debt soars. Just to get a head-start on the jargon we'll soon be hearing from Obama, this is 'double-plus un-good'.

  • You're wrong on the seeds going bad, they'll be fine if you freeze them, they'll last generations look at the seed bank in Norway!!! BTW i'm still using seeds i froze 7yrs ago, my organic veggies were awesome last summer :)

  • wheat will last 2000 years if kept dry.

  • Hey MOT - I like your hair!! I like it combed back like that vs to the side. Nice video. I love Rick Santelli.

  • I'm sorry but I just can't buy the Republcans acting like they are the party of fiscal responsibility after the 8 years of Bush. He started with a surplus and the headlines were about what we were going to do with the "peace dividend". By the end of his years we were in the fix we are in now. When he wanted $800 Billion to give to the banks without any strings attached the Repubs marched in lock step. But now that a Dem wants money they suddenly change their tune. It's unpatriotic partisan BS.

  • Unpatriotic?

  • Unpatriotic in the sense that when Bush was spending us into oblivion the Repubs were with him all the way. No that a Dem wants to do the same they suddenly are against it. If they were against Bush's crazy spending too then they would be patriotic, but the inconsistency shows that they are playing politics. And to do that at a time like this seems unpatriotic. They are not putting the country first. They are putting their party first.

  • hey bro, that 740 billion is a down payment, we're already talking about the next set of payments. The car makers already said they will only make it until march. The stimulus plan alone incurs $30,000 dollar debt on each household in this country. Now we find ourselves putting corporations on government welfare. What you're telling us to support is possibly the most corrupt politician in our nations history. A wolf leading a revolt against those who have been responsible in this country.

  • Did I tell you to support anyone? I'm just saying that I don't buy the sudden conversion of the ones who got us into this mess. If spending was such a big concern for them where were they the last 8 years? Oh yeah, they were the ones in control.

  • KEWY WORDS "EIGHT YEARS".

obama has spent that much in one months time. and asking for more. so far not one penny is helping America, but lining the pockets of all that got him in office.

  • Did you forget the $2.3 trillion that Rumsfeld announced was "lost" in the Pentagon budget on Sept. 10th, 2001? I can just imagine what Repubs would say if Obama reported that he "lost" $2.3 trillion! But back in the Bush days, did you hear one Repub say a thing? So, please, spare me the sudden Repub concern about our finances.

Ever stop to notice that no matter who is in charge, the dollar gets weaker and weaker. It's a card trick. While you are watching the propaganda the money disappears.

  • voncello You are correct. Three types of people will come from this mess. Those of us who woke up to pure truth, those who support government, and those who think they have awoken to this truth but still hang onto the partisan language and have no real idea of how this happened.

  • Ummm, am I misinterpreting you by pointing out that you're off by three orders of magnitude? $2.3 trillion is about the total amount of money spent by the DOD in 7.6 years. The budget for the DOD in 2001 was only $300bn, which was only 15.6% of the Fed budget. DOD spending only increased very slowly as a percent of Fed spending, up to 16.2% in 2007. It was 35.4% in 1971.

I AGREE 100% that inflation is a CRIME, and we all need to wake up to what politicians are doing to US.

  • Jaycephus, did you forget that on 9/10/01 Rumsfeld made a speech in which he said $2.3 TRILLION were MISSING from the DOD? MISSING?! If you really care about this country and its money, why don't you talk about that?

And let us know why we never heard a peep out of all those Rep. leaders who, according to you, "are now doing what their voters wanted in the first place." And where were those "voters" back then? Seems they never criticize their own, but jump on what they perceive as the other.

  • That works both ways, & you should recognize it, admit it. Not ALL Reps were for Bush's spending, & not ALL Dems are for Obama's spending. Please explain how it was 'patriotic' for Dems to vote for Bush's spending? Or how it was patriotic to oppose Bush's spending & then turn around & support Obama's spending! Only a shill can say that. I was against spending before, & I'm against it now. Now hypocrital Dem's are saying its unpatriotic to oppose the Pres.

  • Right now, I do not feel like defending Republican or Democratic actions. Both parties offer us the same solution: Stimulus.

The only difference is that the Reps wanted to spend more on tax cuts, etc. While Obama's original bill was around 880 billion, there was a Repubican bill for around 780. So, Dems cut out some things for the reps. Reps did not vote because they know (like Obama knows) America (and the world) is in deep cow dung and recovery is unlikely. It is POLITICS for them.

  • The truth is that if Obama had just worked with Reps to come up with a bipartisan plan, instead of handing a blank check to Pelosi to fill out with her laundry list, then probably a very large number of Reps would have voted for it. But there was nothing 'bipartisan' about it: so much for the 'partisan' argument. Your statement is the height of partisanship. The Republicans didn't do what their voters wanted, and they suffered. NOW they are doing what their voters wanted in the first place.

  • My final point would be that there isn't much difference between Dems and Reps. They both want their own form of Fascism. Dems can spout 'anti-corporate' slogans all they want, but in the end, they're just establishing a less-efficient corporate-government alliance than the Bush-Greenspan side of the spectrum has been pushing. Both are about as 'free-market' as China or Russia, which is to say: barely at all. I would prefer that people would wake-up & stop supporting either party blindly.

  • I've never heard that said and I'm a dem. Not only that I wouldn't buy it if I heard it. Whoever is saying that is just working on that great divide btn the population

  • Jaycephus, who said the Dems were patriotic? You seem to be stuck in the "us versus them" mentality. I thought we were all Americans.

  • Dude, when you say Reps are unpatriotic for opposing Obama, simple logic dictates that you are also saying it IS patriotic to support Obama. And no, we aren't all Americans. It should be clear from reading all of my posts above that if I have an 'us vs them' mentality, it is more of an 'us citizens vs. them politicians', and accusing me of being 'us vs them' is extremely rich coming from you.

  • You know what Jaycephus, I bet you are friends with MOT and keep making all these posts to bring people back to this page. It seems like you create make believe controversies by misinterpreting people's posts and then making aggressive posts in response to your misinterpretations. This is what you did regarding my post above. Please don't respond to this because I am tired of this page. The Santelli rant is old news and so are your rants.

  • This is the first MOT video I ever saw, and I'm not on his friends list. I don't care if people come to this page.

You said, "It's unpatriotic partisan BS." How have I misinterpreted it? I even first asked you to elaborate! You've ignored that not all Republicans were for spending, and totally ignored that Republican VOTERS were mostly against spending. So another interpretation of your words are that you are mad that Repbulicans are now doing what their voters wanted in the first place.

  • Jaycephus01, if Republicans were not for the policies of the Republicans they elected, why weren't they making as much noise about Bush and his operatives as they are now about Obama? Because Republicans tend to walk in lock step according to Reagan's 11th commandment, "Never attack a fellow Republican". So they put their party above not only the country, but their own supposed desires. If they really wanted fiscal restraint, where were they for the last 8 years?

  • If you don't get as much argument as you think you should get. If you feel that people are avoiding you. If you feel that your input is actually making a difference. You need to be told I guess.

Most thinking, educated and informed people on Youtube and I will admit that is the vast minority of Youtube viewers, just know you are full of shit and avoid your comments like I should have.

  • Tamarlane, truly not worth a response. Only want to point out that this has nothing to do with the video or any conversation on this page. Okay, now go back under your bridge. ;-)

  • MOT rules!

  • MOT, been a while. Nice Video, agree with what you say. McBama does no good, but still better than MILF Palin.

USA has gone to dogs with its senile congressmen and the power hungry leaders.

  • lol, good comment

  • Paul Volcker, chairman of Obama's economic commission, stated today at Columbia University that the "Crisis May be Even Worse than Depression". See CNBC. Good going Brent. Keep up the good work!

  • So..... How will you explain the commodity of one or the other Gold and or Silver to continue to be worth anything if Chicago will no longer be trading it? Let me guess, It will only trade in New York? You and the FinancialHippie keep missing some huge factors. This is only one of them. You guys keep saying to buy gold or silver. But have no to explain on how it will hold a value at all.

  • I say buy food

  • Screw buying it! Have your gun ready to hunt!

  • Wheat's price has fallen all year, and its relatively easy to store for a decade with a little care. Better than gold if this all goes to pot: you can eat it.

  • Hi William, Silver has been around for thousands of years, LONG BEFORE there were even stock markets. It's versatility and concentrated value speaks for itself. Even little kids recognize it's appeal from it's shininess and denseness. Silver's intrinsic value is numerous and too extensive to name here. Most patents applied for in 2008 were for silver !! just for it's anti- bacterial properties. The world can live without gold, but not silver because it's used everywhere in industry. comprendhe?

  • Silver cont. Our Constitution specifies to use silver and gold. Yet we don't . God put silver and gold on earth to use as a store of value and a standard of measure. It is meant to be used for "Honest weights and measures" Because the original bankers abandoned this standard, God has abandoned us. The bankers use of Dis-honest weights and measures, allows for fractional reserve banking, credit expansion, deficit spending. Now we are slaves. Borrower is slave to the lender. Bankers hate gold !!!

  • silver cont. The bankers can't inflate it, create it, or manipulate it....It keeps them honest. They make us use paper fiat currency, yet they keep their savings in Gold. Why is that ? They must know something you don't !!! Absolutely get everything else you need first ie: food water, guns, ammo, medicine, batteries, etc. and then if you have extra wealth left over ,store it in the metals. Check out Jason Hommel. He is the "MOT" of metals !!!

  • silver cont. And then there's gold. When people were fleeing the Holocaust, only gold( not wheat) got them into Switzerland. Fighter pilots are given gold soverigns (not wheat) in their survival packs. The Spaniards invaded S. America for gold (not wheat). Sure you can't eat gold but it still can save your life. When anyone says you can't eat gold, it tells me they don't understand what it's for, plus they probably don't have food either. If you are caught with no food, it'syour own fault !!

  • silver cont. Yes there may come a day when " a bucket of wheat will be worth more than a bucket of gold" Up until that time I prefer the white metals, silver and some lead (bullets)to get me by. Being a Silver bug, I am optimistic. When a bucket of wheat becomes worth more than gold, I will use the last of my silver to buy vaseline to send to MOT and anyone else, so we can slather our bungster together and bend over , BECAUSE WE ARE FUCKED TO THE HILT.....GOT SILVER?

  • silver cont. Being the optimist I profess to be, I never like to critisize without offering a solution or remedy. Check out: Jason Hommel, Dave Morgan, Hugo Salinas Price, GATA, Bernard Von Nothaus, Jim Willie, Darryl Robert Schoon, Professor Antel Fakete, Ron Paul, Peter Schiff, Jim Laird, or James Turk. They are all contrarian investment Guru's. You life depends on it. If you can't spend the time to do some due diligence, then take my word for it and BUY silver. It's are only self defense !!!!

  • silver cont. The Egyptians and Peruvians valued silver more than gold !? Could it be because it has better properties like: the most brilliant? best conduster of heat, best conducter of electricity, anti bacterial qualities( kills bacteria, not humans) rings like a bell? hence silver flutes and bells ( plus a way to detect counterfeit metal "by it's ring?) . Silver is sooooooo usefull that most of the things in our current life contain it ie: computers, TV's, cell phones, refrigerators. lights,

  • silver cont. airconditioners, coins, water filters, air filters, and lately , monetary storage( brought back by popular demand !) who can deny it's viability? Those of you who are fearful of future gold confiscation.?Consider this, Back then we were on the gold standard. still a creditor nation and loaded with home grown industry. Gold is currently recognized around the world. If we were to "ban, or confiscate gold" then we would demonstate to the world that we don't believe in it? The world

  • Well if all the trading exchanges collapse then we would have complete economic collapse as I see everyone predicting. But you need to place a value on silver. Now please explain how you would do that if we have complete economic collapse?

  • watch?v=s3LdNxV0yPM

  • Hi William, Silver and gold doesn't care if the financials collapse. The "economy" will never collapse !! It doesn't need currency such as "Federal Reserve Notes " to continue. There is always: barter, trade in services, goods or work in lieu of debt. The world will not stop because our current form of exchange collapses. Wits, talent, resoursefullness, love and positive outlook will carry you throught the day . Do some homework. quit whining!. You can't get ahead while trying to get even!!

  • great comment.

  • silver cont. knows better! We've seen this" movie before" soooo more people know to keep their gold this time around. Only one person was " held accountable " for withholding his stash because it was visible through his "safe deposit bank account" most everyone else turned in their stash for fear of prosecution or to support the War effort. Great! most everyone gave up their "true savings" as planned by Rosevelt in cahoots with the banks. People were pais the current going rate and then

  • silver cont. the govt. increased the worth of gold.! after the confiscation !? Nowadays most people know to sequester their holdings and lie for survival sake. Besides, our U.S. mint sells Gold Eagles. How can a country ban something they sell? If your quesy about holding Gold, then switch to Silver. It is so widespread and integral to our existence through industry, plus now it's being recognized as a monetary asset again, because of the financial breakdown, and it too is sold by the U.S Govt
