  • Toccata and Fugue in D Minor?

  • @yugoroth1 or G?

  • Muchas gracias Maxmiau.

  • Es la primera demostración de un minimoog voyager en la que veo que en verdad si están tocando una pieza musical y no nomas están tocando notas como loco, así uno si se percata de la verdadera capacidad de este analog synthesizer

  • I never remember the song name. What song are you playing in the beginning?

  • @gombie

I agree, I really want to know the name of this song but I can't remember.

  • Some notes are wrong... not pay any attention to my message, I'm just jealous of your voyager :)

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Sounds nice but I can honestly say that my Plugiator Minimax for £130 sounds almost identical to this and is polyphonic too! Not sure about the low end but its pretty solid in that department too, far better than a plugin.

  • the jttcote licks would sound great if you used 2 oscillators 1 octave apart ala Rick.

  • if i had a voyager, i would sit for hours playing. serious, this is super fun

  • How do you make a beat on a moog? does it work like a workstation at all? Can you make a full length track just on the moog and then transfer it to an mp3 or other file?

  • @joemarcool no you're way off man...the voyager can only do 1 note at a time, no chords, no multitracking.

  • Man...you're good! Nice demo :)

  • just pulled the trigger and brought one of these babies off ebay for only 2000USD. Wasn't the blue LED version tho.

  • 3:40 that is probably the sound of all sounds to come out of any synthesizer. I got giggles I really did.

  • shit yeah man!

  • Id love this as my wake up alarm clock in the morning

  • Is that a little Rick Wakeman I can hear at 5:45?

  • i had the chance to play the voyager at the musikmesse in frankfurt 08. it was THE Instrument of the event for me....i use softsynths and virtual analogues since the 1998 have used everything from orangator to to nowadays arturia and korg stuff....but i was BLASTED away by the voyager's sound. it gave me the shivers! it's a HUGE difference between real analogues and the virtuals. i swear....since that experience...i wish for a real moog. someday im gonna buy one.

  • This reminds me Keith Emerson!

Good synth - I wish I could buy it

  • also, this video is pretty inspiring for new music

  • haha!

3:09 sounds JUST LIKE some of the mexican music i listen to in my car when my ipod's dead! i LOVE moogs!

  • lol, ew

  • I think you should lessen the attack for the Bach piece. It sounds much better legato than staccato, and I imagine its easier to get that smooth sound on a monosynth like this with the glide and the way easy slurs.

  • I loved the sound of the first song! What settings did you use? Do you think you can take a picture?

  • It just sounds so... perfect. If only it were possible for it to be polyphonic. 32 voices of this for $3000! I can dream. :|

  • Nice playing man, beautiful Bach rendition.

    Love that Moog sound!

  • great but tico tico its for spanish guitar

  • i recently bought the Rackmount Edition. i can't stop playing with it....

  • Could you please inform me what song you're playing from 3:02 - 3:24 ?

    nice demonstration ;)

    regards,

    atlimar88

  • Thank you! The song is "Tico-tico no fubá". A famous and popular brazilian song.

    Regards,

    Carlos Magno

  • This is what I call real Analog. Grundy & Thick Sound. Can't get any better than Moog.

  • Bravo! I am proud owner too, it´s beast.

  • Is this a modern version of the instrument?? the mod and pitch wheels seem to have "pimp my moog" type blue LEDs, very funky and very cool

  • The whole synth has blue LEDs on it, it's some celebratory feature from a while back now. Now it's a standard thing.

  • ?cuanto dinero americano?

  • parabens adorei beijos da mamae vilma

  • No conozco tu habla.

  • i'm new to synthesizers, but do u have to plug any cords into the moog to get noises, or do u plug in the moog, and bam, there is your synthesizer.

  • you have to plug it into an amp or PA, uses the same size jacks as guitars

  • you can it into a sound card and record from there.

  • price?

  • 3300 $

  • Great job. Nice post.

  • Excellent, great job..!!!

  • lol vila-lobos

  • WHITE ROCK AT 3:00 ??

  • Hi, it´s a brazilian song, called "Tico-tico no Fubá". Thanks.

  • brittish people can move there fingers REALLY fast.

i dont know about you but i have not seen one american make a peace of music that includes him or her moving his/her fingers at a billion miles per hour.

but still i dont know if your English or not so why the @%$# am i steriotyping!

  • How about SE1X ?

  • Great played.

  • what a beautyful synth, spectacular performance...congratulations.How many voyagers are saled until this days?anybody knows that?

  • Nice hardware.....some cools sounds but you're no Walter Carlos

  • That would be Wendy...

  • Asia at 2:20!

  • Yes, Asia. The famous song.

  • oh mate if had one i could really piss the neighbours off,

  • this impresionante Whau

  • more funky synth bass stuff please. play a funky IMPROVISED lead would be cool, instead of songs.

  • Hmmm Moogs are really cool.

  • I have to get one of these monsters...

  • Nice... Its also a `custom' arrangement Bach's BWV 565.

Also heard is a bit from `Tico Tico'...

  • Beautifully customized machine!

  • What song is at 4:50?

  • @ponchato: Axel F. by Harold Faltermeyer... (theme from Beverly Hills Cop) ;)

  • *great* song @ 2:19. I learned Geoff Downes' Minimoog solo on "Here Comes the Feeling" note-for-note waaay back, years ago shortly after album was released. No CDs back then! so I chose LP over cassette tape ;) lol.. it's a fun tune to jam on, especially the Minimoog riff. Just ace playing, songwriting & musicianship-elements sorely lacking in most modern music of today. peace,

  • can you do some wall-shaking low end bass grooves on it?

  • Yes, i will do. Coming soon...

  • cool thx

  • suuuuuuuuuperd

  • Thank you Donnie.

  • thank you for your reply email

  • damn, what i would do for a moog. i'd be nice if they made a foot pedal (like the moog taurus) so we guitar players could play with our feet.

  • I don't care if this comment was posted over half a year ago, but I'll answer it. Get a Little Phatty and a Roland foot midi controler and hook 'em up with a midi cable. That's the closest thing you can get to a taurus pedal :(.

  • I forgot I posted this. haha..

I actually bought an access virus A and a roland pk-5..

LOVE the access virus.. great bass tones.. huge versatility.. has moog presets (moog taurus bass presets)

and it was quite affordable as well

  • ah, I couldn't remember what they were called (pk-5). The Virus seems to be a very popular synth.

  • It's nice to finally see a long Voyager demo on Youtube.

  • Thank you Jrayk1.

  • Great work on the keys, always love hearing a synthed up Toccata in D...God what I would give to have a voyager, those plexi mod wheels are so sexy...

  • Thank you!

  • Thanks,

I'll have to find that sheet music.

  • Awesome! What is that first song you played?

  • Hi, thank you. The first song is Toccata and Fugue in D minor. Is a piece of organ music written by J. S. Bach, sometime between 1703 and 1707.
