  • Brilliant. <3

  • hey this is awesome. I have never heard a flute played like this before but it sounds amazing the way you do it!

  • Not meant to be mean... I just can't understand how you play like that.... Although, you obviously manage somehow! :)

  • @shabalaification I'm assuming you're talking about marching band with keeping the flute parallel to the ground. If you watch enough videos of professional flutists in orchestras or playing recitals, however, you'll see that we don't hold our flutes parallel to the ground because it is not conducive to ergonomic playing. Go do some research! :)

  • AWESOME... But i'm in a band so they drive us crazy about keeping our flutes parralel... The entire time i felt like screaming FLUTE CARRIAGE!

  • Murder in the streets!!!! That was dope, so real! Good job man

  • Wow, amazing!!

  • @DancingDynamite2 Thank you! I'm happy you liked it. :)

  • Wonderful playing! I have always wanted to perform, just me and my flute, and I'm getting into the more modern, less classical-sounding, "extended technique" styles of playing. This is a huge inspiration for me, THANK YOU!

  • @Pseudonym394 Happy to help! I hope this video brightened your day as much as your comment brightened mine.

  • This....... is AWESOME!!!!! You are an amazing artist!

  • this is so amazing!!

  • the whole time, i was thinking "bless you". at first i thought he was sneezing. xD

  • This si pretty incredible. you're living my dream right here. my dream is to perform, just like this, solo performing with the instrument i love. (but the videos currently on my channel lack musicality and are terrible but they are not recent at all) this is inspiring because I know that my dreams may be achievable

  • @AnimeLovinMusician Keep doing what you love to do! The only way you never get very far is if you quit the journey. :)

  • Brilliant! I really enjoyed this, well done and thanks for posting!!

  • interesting, just watch your intonation.

  • Nailed it.

  • This is so well done! This video makes me want to perform this piece. The interpretation and energy is just astounding.

  • yeah i try things like this in band class the band director tells me to stop : (

  • i hate it when that happens cuz i do the same lol!

  • Same hahaha!

  • Why did you stamp? it ruined the sound.

And your multiphonics at about 1:30 give the high notes far too much dominance.

  • @AaronBenJoseph i know this is a late comment lol, but i personally like it with the stomping. It makes it seem more rhythmic in a sense.

  • @AaronBenJoseph They're not multiphonics; it's singing and playing, a completely different technique. Thanks for your criticism, though, however unsound it might be! :)

  • Fantastic. I've been playing (badly) for years but this has inspired me to get playing more but relaxing and loving playing with the instrument more. great fun.

  • That's one of my goals in life, inspiring people to have more fun with what they do. Thanks so much for the comment.

  • Very well done.

  • I've heard about 10 interpretations of it, and this is definately in my top 3, because I just love experimental because its all about interpretation.

  • I really liked this rendition of the song, but there was something weird about the singing, I have heard other people perform this and it sounded like he was overshooting the octave. Anyways spectacular job!!

  • you rock :)

  • He came to my school today!

He played a piece called The Great Train or something.
