history sucks big time. my advice would be not to take it.. waaaay too much to remember and what you have to remember is unbelievably difficult because what was going on all at the same time. On a good note though, it is mildly interesting.
If only they would teach this in the US schools, half the politicians would be in jail today. With todays technology we should be more informed, but the catch is that its also used by the left. The answer is who can missuse, distort, and keep the truth hidden.Tell a lie for a length of time it becomes the truth, and the truth becomes a lie.
I did modern world for GCSE. It was boring, although history is my favorite subject. I am doing A Level Early modern History which is a great deal more interesting. I only wish that they had an early modern GCSE History to compete with the modern course.
hya im in year 9 aswel i pked history nd travel nd tourism dnt nw hw its gnna b hpe its good...lol if u find out any info bout history GCSE can u tel me plz...Thanx...xxx
I can't believe there was hardly anything about Superpower Relations in this video... Or the Russian Revolution etc... they are the best topics... not boring women & the vote -_-
That's because the don't study Superpower Relations at our school. Coursework for this course is on the Romanovs and Lenin/Trotsky, so there is some eof the Russian bits included here.
And who says women getting the vote is boring? The suffragettes were middle-class terrorists, wreaking havoc around Britain and subjecting themselves to unimaginable pain and humiliation for their aim. That doesn't seem boring to me...
It isn't boring, however what I was typing to imply was that the Cold War and the Bolshevik revolutions around 1917 were much more interesting, simply because there was a lot more action involved and you can actually relate it to to today.
I guess we're different people and are entitled to our views; i'm just stating my opinion. :P
