  • This was the theme song for an old late night radio show called Lucky Lager Dance Time (named after a local beer), Loved it then and love it now!

  • Probably the most beautiful song ever written. Noce rendition and wonderful arrangement. I cry every time I listen to it.

Thank you very much, Jjohnny Mercer!

  • yo dawg i be mad ghetto and badass with my gat and be knockin out dese thugs.

attention if you have used any words in the sentence above, you belong on the government depopulation list because this is the inspiration for todays shi-- music.

  • @geo442 I can't use the words I, be, mad, and, with, my, and, be, out, or bad ass anymore?

  • thank you bioshock 2, damn you freddy kruger

  • Thank you for taking matters into your own hands!!! Awesome song!!

  • The Pied Pipers were the greatest, and were made that way by the super great Jo Stafford. You can hear her perfect pitch on all their recordings.

  • God, I wish music these days could at least be half as wonderful as this. Thanks so much for uploading, you are a god among men.

  • I am doing this song for my school talent show.

  • I can't thank you enough for uploading this song...recently I was about to go into a stage of very dark depression, and just as everything looked darkest, this song came out of nowhere into my head, and since that moment, everything has looked a little brighter...

    keep on swingin'

  • @EagleOnTheRhine i know how you feel

  • 4 more days...

  • the use of words and phrases with melody produced a more romantic and full bodied song. music was richer then

  • Its a song from a much more innocent and elegant age...

  • songs today are never as good as the oldies

  • I agree, songs today are such shit

  • I have to disagree with you. Only 99% of today's songs are crap ;)

  • never say that never ;)

  • @mandalore1000

wtf is this man , it just scare me :D

  • BIOSHOCK 2 TEASER

  • be quiet everyone! I'm recording this lol

  • This is actually a pretty inspiring song, for as old as it is.

  • ye bioshock 2 .. cant wait to play and this is the perfect theme

  • big band music rules, bioshock rules, fallout rules XD

  • i AGREE WITH ALL THREE!

  • they dont make it this good anymore...

  • @ParanoidToaster: No i think this is the same song they used in bioshock 2 teaser. i've been looking for the same thing and it took me a while to get to this page tho =)

  • Big Band music is sweet

  • i wish that djs would make remixes of this with some hip hop NOT HIP POP.... HIP HOP ... wait wtf am i saying u cant fuck with classics like this sorry no offense to anyone!!!!!!

  • Hip hop fucking sucks go get a life fuckin little bitch

  • I just realised how much of an ass i was back there. LOLOL PWN

  • In the Bioshock 2 Teaser did they use a different singer? It sounds different.

  • maybe they did or they digitally remastered it.

  • I like this song ON bioshock it was a excellent choice!

  • I love this record. The tenor sax player is the great Eddie Miller. Musical style? Great American Songbook.

  • Wonderful song = )

It describes Masha's feelings and her dreams of returning to Rapture incredibly well.

  • this is way better than that new jim jones and soulja boy or miley cyrus and jonas brothers shit!!! this is real music!!!! too bad nobody makes music like this anymore...

  • well done my friend, i too have been trying to find this song that was not on the BioShock 2 teaser or had a song at the beginning and/or end of it.

Many points to you good sir!

  • this song relaxes me ^,..,^

  • I've loved old music like this from 50-60 years for all my life. It's sad that music didn't stay like this, smooth and nice.

  • Mmm hell, feels weird to say it but I love this sort of music. Makes me feel nostalgic, kind of wish music had stayed along this path.

  • Me too. What genre is it?

  • XP I think they just call it oldies? Not sure I always call it "dreamy" music XD.

  • Its 'make me happy' music lol. My dad said that you can consider it Big Band.

  • I believe, almost exactly as Sevenntytwo said, that Bioshock's soundtrack incorporates some of the most beautiful and soothing, and all around smooth songs. This is just to keep things even more scary. I always think to myself, scary movies are scary with scary music, but far scarier with happy music.

  • I personally love the "theme" song on the first bioshock. Made perfect sense. But the jukebox always skips and stuff, makes it sound scary.

  • perfect song... perfect ages.. perfect the oldies atmosphere.. and thanks to bioshock to learn the new kids the old REAL music.

  • 12, and i like older music, "Classics" more than i do the stupid crap today. I think if music was like this today, there would be less gangs and shootings. But, part of life.

  • when i think of my grandma in the future, this music will be playing in my head

  • It's like something that you can slow dance to

  • Song of the Week.

  • this music is so soothing... I need more of this stuff in my library...

  • Thanks for upoading! :D its the soundtrack to bioshock 2.

  • dude you just killed it

  • thanks for putting this up

  • Well BioShock has one of the most oldest music used for game trailers.

    It fits perfectly into it.

  • I think the best part is the pleasant connotation of the song. It just ups the horror of the whole game's concept. Things are never as bad as they seem... unless Big Sister is drilling you full of holes.

  • it sounds so badass in a weird way. like how the rupture world is falling apart and most everyone demented or dead and then they play this. classic. and it also reminds me of FO3 how that als had 50s music when the world was blown up.

  • how did you get the audio swap? it doesent work for me

  • somewhere beyond the dreams...

  • It's such a perfect song for Bioshock. Seriously, it's crazy. :) Thank you.

  • yes, like beyon the sea

  • Glad to see I'm not the only one who thinks so. xD

  • Im blown away
