i don't think they should go worldwide but they should do more exhibition races like this. they stopped going to mexico in nationwide and they might be stopping the one in canada aswell
@ArmadeusXxC It's been in America since 1948, still going strong. They only did one race outside of America and it was this race. The sport didn't change at all.
@pikahudude387 they have had 2 races outside the US, Montreal currently on the Nationwide schedule and it was once on the Nationwide schedule but isnt any more Mexico City
Suzuka was one of my favorite tracks in NASCAR '98 for Playstation/Saturn/PC. I didn't know they actually raced here. They really should consider doing another race here, but I bet they don't see it getting any ratings compared other tracks since your standard Nascar fan only cares about going real fast while sometimes turning to the left. Adding a RIGHT turn is pure sorcery.
Hopefully that will change, as Sonoma just had 5 million viewers. They used to get 5,000 viewers.
I believe that the Cup Series should go to more road courses, and ought to go to Montreal with the Nationwide Series.
If more races are held out of the U.S.; not a terrible amount, but two or three a season, NASCAR would reach a global influence they haven't had since the three years in Japan.
i bet 90 percent of the people in japan didnt even watch this, but the americans loved it. nascar should go worldwide. make those drivers jetlagged every week
@g0ing2n0where And what's awesome is how smooth and fast they seem to take the corners! From the looks of it... Subarashi no toraku desu!!!! XD (Wonderful track)
@Motorsport1999 I think people would treat the sport with much more respect if it were in much more countries and tracks that are more than just a oval. The cars in Nascar kick ass, but all they do is go in a circle and gets boring very quickly until the last few laps for checker flag.
@Motorsport1999 dont think there would be nearly enough support for it, open wheel/rally racing is much bigger world wide than NASCAR could probably ever get.
The full Suzuka circuit would be very fun for NASCAR.

They call it National Association Stock Car Auto Racing for a reason. Keep it in America.
