  • Helen is the Truth! Great work!

  • Thank u bro. for taking your time

    indroducting this language to me.

That really cool i didn,t expected if one

might volunteer to help. Thank you again.

  • This is a real arabic language.

I took my time to hear properly. It is arabic

but just only accent made it sound like not.

You are very tough girls, keep it up.

  • It's actually a semitic language called Tigre. It evolved from Ge'ez the original afro-semitic language. Besides Ge'ez, Semitic gave rise to Hebrew, Aramaic, various Assyrian languages, Nabatean, and many Yemenite languages. Ge'ez was the dominant language in both the Yemen and Abyssynia during the age of the Axumite Empire. Tigre is the Ge'ez in its purest form followed by Tigringna which is spoken in both Eritrea and Ethiopia, and Amharingna which is the lingua-franca of Ethiopia.

  • it's actually a sister language to Arabic, from a different semitic branch.

  • It sound to me like arabic but not arabic because i understand arabic. Though the music is very sweet.

  • yo, I'm Eritrean and I know we don't speak Amharic, but anybody can enjoy this music Eritrean, ethiopian, whatever. Entena I hope u don't think all Eritreans are as retarded as jonatan and hazeleritreaneyes. Peace to Eritrea and Ethiopia.

  • yossiefh, no one said people can't enjoy this song...all they said is Eritreans don't speak Amharic. You're the retard idiot!

    Abshiiiiiiiiir Helen Pawlos!

  • i love this song....my dads ppl....*thumbs up*

  • nice

  • not bad

  • amharic is not Eritrean languge. and we Eritrean don't like amhara/adgi/animals.

  • I agree with Jonatann.

Entena, good for you, but Eritreans don't speak Amharic, take your desires back to Ethiopia.

  • thia song is celebrating afar culture

  • U ethio bastards u don't even know whole Ethio ethnical groups, how could you know something about Eritrea. U day dreamers, everybody is fedup of you even in your country by the Oromos,Ogadenis,Afars,Sidamas...

  • this is not afar sister, this is tigre culture.i should know im tigre eritrean. god bless mama eritrea

  • hahaha yo i read a comment that said `r u ethiopian tigre or eritrean tigre'hahahahah i laughed so hard when i read that. tigre culture are a 100% pure eritreans. they only live in eritrea and have no connections with ethiopia or anywhere else. they are related to eritrean tigrinya culture.thus the majority of tigre people, like my family can speak tigrinya and vice versa. u ethios like Bolekid stop begging to be apart of our culture

  • she dress just like sudanese women.........LOL they copying our women

  • u fool man..its how they dress in east africa, i.e sudan, somalia, eritrea, ethiopia, and djibouti..even the music in these countries have similarities if u listen to dem all.

  • What an ignorant fool you are! Don't you know Horn of Africans look alike and have similar culture? I thought Kassela borders Eritrea...doesn't it? So don't act as if you are far away from us!

  • Comment removed

  • EriKing I think this "kassalawi" character is an Ethio bastard.

"Kassalawi" don't forget Kassala belongs to Eritrea you fool! Don't you Remember you are a guest in my Eritrean land Kassala? Believe me, we will get our land Kassala and its people back sooner or later. It is just a matter of time. But we have to settle the Ethiopians in their proper place before we do that. In the mean time enjoy Kassala while you can! Bastard looser!

  • Kassala is Eritrean sovereign territory. We will take it whenever we want it back. So kassalawi, shut up otherwise you will be taken back

  • they are the same by oll means oromo tigre sduanese beja but oll the proplem is in our government they do not want to react to make good relation with every nation specificaly with our nighbours

  • Who told you Tigre are the same with Oromo?Tigre speakers of Eritrea are cousins with Tigrigna speakers of Eritrea. Both Tigre and Tigrigna speakers have common ancestral background. And yes Tigre are also related to Bejas but not to Oromos.

Second Tigre speak a Semitic language just like their Tigrigna cousins(BTW Tigre and Tigrigna are very close languages to each other and are both based on Geez) while Oromos speak Cushitic language. Big difference...!

  • betam teru zefay nat..demo dess tilalech =]

  • Tigre of Eritrea dress and have similiar musical styles and dance like the Oromo of Ethiopia and Somali of Ethiopia and Somalia and Djibouti. Interesting.

  • tebeda

  • How in the world can you compare the natural born warrior Tigres of the red Sea with Oromos? You must me on crack or something...may be Somalis a little bit but Oromos?!

No offence to Oromos but I don't think Tigres have a similar culture with Tigres!

  • ^Last part should have been: <b>"No offence to Oromos but I don't think Oromos have similar culture with Tigres"</b>...thanks!

    especially that african clothing she

was wearing i was choked when i saw that

  • In all seriousness this girl should stick to traditional music <b>ONLY</b>, because she looks extremely stupid copying western music and style! Look how beautiful she looks wearing traditional Eritrean clothing and dancing traditional dance. Why reduce yourself to such low level to look cool? I don't get it!

BTW the other videos are a disgrace to Eritrea!!!
