  • great camra but to be honest the video on it is pretty shit, but if you use the tamron sp af f2 micro lens then it really makes the video alot better

  • i am just wodering you can record using the camera??

  • @BmdFingerboards I have the 1000D and no you unfortunetly cant record videos with it :/

  • @Bethan1545 1100D you can record :) thats what im probably getting!

    thanks for your help!

  • @BmdFingerboards What do you mean? You cant record with this camera?

  • I have a 1000d and I can't make any videos!! How did to manage to do that??

  • @saitek222000222 Via usb cable attached to the pc or laptop.

  • sensational

  • how do you make videos with an eos 1000d?

  • @kabo123 Video is not a function this Camera has. Sorry.

  • how you make this video,,

  • good focusing on the guitar i must say.

  • The focus moves as the object moves..

Is that manually done or the camera keeps moving the focus?

  • WHUT! I can't film with my 1000D :O

  • eos movie rec. russian software. it captures live view directly to your computer.

  • @AbbYGraffiti I also think the same

  • @AbbYGraffiti connect it with the video cabel to your pc and switch on the liveview mode on camera. u will see the live "video" on pc.

  • Ok so i need advise this video quality i am loving it but yea i heard you couldnt film in this camera how do you actually make a video ?? :)

  • i heard you couldn't film in this camera...??

  • @pscarlosrivera you can't. He just fired off hundreds of photos.

  • @editedbyfailure in the case of this camera you're wrong. the video shooting is "real", but you require a USB connection with a computer running a third party program to use it. The program taps into the camera's Live View feed, and uses that to record a low resolution 640x480 video. The only downside to this is heat issues that will become noticable after a while of non-stop recording.

  • @CrdBrdProjects Ah, yes. Never thought of that

  • Where can i download the EOS1000D live view software? reply me asap please. thanks :D

  • haha bail once the girl realises your filming her

  • i did not think that the 1000d could video if u have not yet can u make a video showing how to set it up to video i have not got the camera yet i am getting it soon that would be great if u cud put that video on.cheers

  • oh awesome how you do it

  • Yes, all movies/videos are "bunch of pics" moving fast one after each other,..

  • @bigmac673 Read the text! Its done with EOS recorder

  • @bigmac673 nah man u use EOS Camera Movie Recorder, can record videos using live view on any non-video compatible Cannon camera, and at around 20fps as well :D

  • @bigmac673 thats the definition of a a video..why do you think they call movies motion pictures

  • @bigmac673 haha you stupid son a bitch

  • @bigmac673 It's called "movie/video"

  • doesent record sound?

  • @mrk0per it does not record anything, hes taken continuous pictures to make a video.

  • @kattykookarr .. the camera sends live video to the pc via the usb cable. using some software, you can record it without the camera actually knowing.

  • @kattykookarr This is how a video camera works.

  • can u tell me how to take a video in a 1000d

bcoz i cant find an option for that...

  • hello(: i thought there no video mode for canon 1000D?? how you did it? can anyone help me? thanks

  • cau potřeboval bych poradit kámoš má taky 1000D a obraz na pc se seká fps je cca 2-3 nevíš čím to je? dík moc

  • Comment removed

  • gunna have to try this with an infrared filter :P cant wait, getting this camera for x-mass

  • One major problem with video on 1000D.. your sensor life will drop DRAMATICALLY.. which btw.. isnt covered by warranty.. ahahaha also costs 450$ aus to fix it =P

  • I don´t think so... basically, it´s just liveview which is officially supported on this model....

  • Yes, it is using the liveview to record the video. But, ever considered how liveview works? the actuations increase on the open and closure according to liveview usage. Thus, if you have MAJORLY blowout highlights your also burnin out your sensor as it is not using the mirror to produce the image thru the viewfinder, but using the sensor exposed. DSLR sensors in the 1000D aren't designed for that. 500D and 7D yes, but canon take that into account.

video sensors are made for endurance, not slr's.

  • @azn0drifta0boi0 Hey, do you have a source explaining this? I wouldn't want to destroy my 1000D's chip :(

  • @Rambowjo2

    Hey dude!

Look up dead pixels or burnt pixels. Basically this is how to waste 10 million pixels. lol dw, it takes lots and lots and lots of destruction to see them.. my 7D's got dead and hot pixels =S it's currently on it's trip to Canon Australia...

  • @Rambowjo2 I don't see how this could ruin the camera. It's just showing the live image to the pc (feature supported on the 1000D) and the pc records it.

  • @azn0drifta0boi0 you're shure??? this program isn't good ?

  • @azn0drifta0boi0 Will this happen when taking photos?

  • that'S a cool way to make vids ; )

  • the canon eos 1000d doesnt do video. :/

  • yes, but 1000d can send liveview pictures via USB cable directly to PC (about 20fps) and this is result....

  • ohh, wow. cool !

  • @lbunda1980 so it doesn't have the video button?

  • @musiverandom no, it doesn´t

  • Which objectiv are you using?

    well done

  • Canon 50/1.8

  • muy buena calidad
