  • Great Freddie King tune. Clapton does it justice for sure.

  • I think "The Blues" should be a recognised as a form of psycho-therepy. Play it to angry violent people and how can they not come out chilled??

  • shit's just so smooth man

  • Voldemort got into Blues ?

  • mother fuckng! clapton and mark king

  • Topppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppppp,

  • god clapton is old

  • @KidSpiegel Still very good though. Your comment brings back old memories of seeing Cream live in the 60s, god I miss those years.

  • @bountyhunterdude Yep thats correct

  • @bountyhunterdude From Level 42??

  • @Jedizen07 Yes

  • does anyone know what the performance was called?

  • It would be totally perfect if Mark King did a solo on the bass.

  • Now that Eric has finally beat his demons and has a settled family life his music and guitar playing is getting better and better.

  • Playing blues in Armani outfit???

  • @TheDonpedrossy Hey, even the hardcore bluesmen like Sonny Boy Williamson, Muddy, Little Walter, and a ton of others are famous for wearing the finest tailored silk suits in their day. Having the blues is not always just a matter of how poor you are... there's a lot of other shit in life that'll give you the blues.

  • I Love That shit ;D!!!!!

  • I love blues too by the way it was just an impression

  • I wanna play punk with that guitar and suit

  • Good ole Freddie King tune (from his Burglar album... on Clapton's label I believe).

  • He sounds a lot like Ray Charles.

  • Clapton playing some JJ CAle's stuff... What else?

  • @SonnyBoyHavidson

    ;)

i .like eric, because of JJ

    ok and because of eric..

  • Every once in a while I wish ERIC would come on stage with a wall of MARSHALL amps and massive Distortion , Uni-Vibe , and play like he did back in 1968-9.....WOW the Audience. He can still do it -He knows it- We know it...Time is getting on....Come on ERIC....WHALE AWAY...SOME PSYCHODELIC BLUE.

  • I'm sure Clapton likes Thelonious Monk.

  • @beachhutblues That is not andy fairweather low, although andy is claptons longest serving rhythm guitarists, he stopped playing with clapton in 2003, although he made a brief return in 2009 and left again, I do hope he comes bck

  • @KISSArmyFansite If you are referring to the bald gentleman behind Clapton to our left that is Mr Midge Ure who is far from being a shabby guitar player himself as was evidenced by his invite to join Thin Lizzy at the very height of their fame. Yes, he has aged but, it's him. And, once again, yes, that is Mark King to our right.

  • @mitchikaboola He appears to be a fantastic guitar player, although no one does it better than Andy Fairweather Low :)

  • that left foot is going crazy lol he should make a song about it ...

  • Eric ...wondefull!

  • lol. first i thought on the left there its paul reed smith but then i thought he would never play a gibson live! ;D

  • MARK KING ON THE BASS i think!

  • your my only one idol eric clapton!

  • everything was cool, except his hair..

  • @arpeggioxmajor Makes him look alot older than he really is.

  • @Puertorico2494 ehm hes 66 years old :), define old ;) hehe, i think in the springtime he will have his 67th birthday as i remember, i could look it up but im lazy hehehe. aka he looks his age :)

  • @PeterStorm81 What I mean is if you compare him to when he was 65 to now he looks a lot older with long hair. And yes it's the hair because no one changes that much in a year or 2.But anyway...Why are we arguing about if he looks older or not.Lets just shut up and hear the music!!! xD

  • @Puertorico2494 your absolutely right :D, its the music that counts :)

  • A great blues. Long live Clapton.

  • @tjo50511 still the best

  • @tjo50511

    because it's Eric "Slowhand" Clapton

  • It^s a song from J.J.Cale

  • j j cale

  • he sits just with this guitar, i don't know why but i think it's because this guitar is heavy. This show is Prince's Trust Rock Gala 2010 recorded at the Royal Albert Hall.

  • dont be silly,!!! i suppose you would rather steve vai or van hallen or some othe head banger

  • @gurbhani You're full of shit..

  • @gurbhani

  • @gurbhani or you are idiot.

  • its called blues but it makes me high

  • love the easy blues

  • @sdk1611 easy to play, hard to feel bro

  • @beachhutblues Uhm, well, actually it IS Ure & King. It's the Prince's Trust rock galla. Jools Holland and Phil Collins join them on drums and keys later on. So... off to Specsavers with you, good Sir ;-)

  • Очень постно..

  • @RoryJim Идиот...

  • Just love that gibson clapton is playing =O

  • Clapton is still god,,,,and he looks cool with the archtop and grey hair

  • clapton loves cale.

  • @beachhutblues think its midge ure and mark king on bass as i have seen those two with eric playing the princes` trust in the past

  • Thank you for playing a Gibson!!!

  • great musician, great song and performance

  • Nuan...

  • Wonderful version!

  • the song Same Old Blues on the 1985 album isnt the same song its a completely different song just the same title.

  • This a JJ Cale song. Eric recorded a song with same title on the Behind The Sun album album in 1985 which is altogether different.

  • Same ol' lyrics, but much different sounding blues. Clapton is great anyway!

  • Great Hair Eric!

  • The guitar is out of tune! :-/

  • @skumkugler

When you're playing the blues, exact tune doesn't matter.

  • @DrSpenz

    Ah! Come on! ;)

  • Where did he play this and with what band??and occasion?? Thanks for uploading...

  • @MrSmalheer
