Gray and Sons are a rip off and make LOWBALL OFFERS.(even on high grade diamonds and emeralds)

EX: Your jewelery apprases for $30K they make excuses and say they dont deal with emeralds much(even though their catalog has a lot) and they say the best they can do is $4K....even though the appraisal value is $30 and you can expect about 50% of appraisal value (at the worst) so a good offer would be 10- $15K

NOT at Gray and Sons. They make more than you on your own piece..RIP OFF!

I know this is cherlish, I love the RLX sub design but Ive got a £120 Orient that looks every bit as good, its a so called homage as opposed to a fake, but I`ll be 1st to admit I`ll never afford the real thing.

a fake will never ever ever outlast a real rolex. Check back with us in 2 years and give us an update. You can buy a used 2009 for 4K or one about 10 years old for 2-3K. That' s in stainless steel only.

not sure why u replied directly back to me, whats your point? I simply said I own a £120 Orient Homage job, which DOES incidentaly look every bit as good. But, it would be ineresting though admitedly totally impractical to see which of the two movt`s would last the longest in constant daily use and serviced at makers intervals, I`d bet there would be one or two surprises, Orient dont make fakes & have a damn fine pedigree with automatics.

its used for when you go diving. you put the pearl on the time when you go under the water and then you can tell how long you have been under water by what number on the bezel the minute hand is pointing to. does that make sense to u?

it also only turns one way so you cant knock the it the wrong way as a safety feature for divers
