You only need 90 smithing to make a daedric bow and you only need 3 ebony ingots and a deadra heart to make it. The extra ebony ingot is to make it legendary and i dont know why you bought the iron and the leather strips O.o

@doctordoom224 100 smithing is easy, buy all leather you see and get Dwarven Smithing, once you have that go to Markath and do runs between the dwemer ruins there and the Forge (after clearing them all) naked and collect as much dwemer metal as you can, you can get 100 smithing in two hours this way.

I make dwarven bows with the metal as they only require one other iron ingot and they are pretty easy to accumulate.

@doctordoom224 I tell you how to fast 100% smithing if you are beginner .

1) Go to Riverwood sawmill and cut as much woods as you can, more then 1000 (this is the boring part because it will take like 2 hours of staying in front on computer stright)

2) Sell the woods to Hod and get the gold.

3)Visit the blacksmiths and general store in Riverwood and Whiterun and buy all the leader and leather strips you find.

4)Use the forge and make as many Hide Leather Bracers.

Et Voila :)

Little tip, make Fortify enchanting potions, use them to enchant (with grand gems) Fortify Alchemy, use the armour to make Blacksmithing potions, and Enchanting potions, use enchanting potions to make Fortify Smithing armour. Then do what he does above, drinking a blacksmith potion before you do. Way higher base damage. Make the bow at the lunar forge for more damage at night. Then enchant with a fire enchant and a shock enchant. Besides the fact it imrpoved it to godly, instead of ledgendary.

@SSwildfire Look at the Archery skill tree. At the very bottom there should be a perk that increases damage done by bows (you can put up to 5 perk points into this perk, each one increasing damage from bows by 20%). The Daedric bow's base damage, with no points in that perk, is 20, so you probably don't have any points in that perk.

@ZachDTV That's for a reason. You would be insanely overpowered if they gave you enough perks to unlock everything. That way if forces you to be selective in what you choose, and to only choose perks that pertain to your type of character.

If you mine all the ores in gloombound mine the total i think you can get from one run is about 45, from just one run.

Instead of having to wait for 3 Ebony ores to respawn, go to Gloombound mine, it's south east of Windhelm, it has tons of ebony ore veins in its mine nearby which i think respawns every 1 or 2 weeks.

My smithing and archery are level 100. I used a philter of blacksmith and an amulet when I improved my daedric bow. I also have a ring that adds to the damage a bit. Then I enchanted it. Needless to say, it's 164 damage with 10 points of fire damage. Good god no wonder I'm alone on valentine's day.

Nice little video, but not counting for getting materials, for your best Bow it'd be recommended to have a nice Enchanting level for a decent powered Fortify Smithing and adding it to all that you can for armor, wear that then make your Bow, base damage is same, but when you Upgrade it at Grindstone, the Fortify Smithing will make it %better then regular.

Thats why @PermeableUros said his Ebony did more as he probably had a piece of armor that Fortified Smithing.

@OwenRees96 To increase the damage of the bow, you can either improve it normal at a grindstone, or you can get /make a Fortify Smithing potion or something, that will make your damage e higher. You can also use perks when yet to a certain level to increase your damage with a bow by 20%. You can alenchant items with an archery enchantment, so that your outfit will make the damage with a bow even better

i was able to get my bow's damage to 230. i have my bow skill power at 5/ my smithing at 100. get the right enchanting skills and have the smithing enhancement. smith enchant your armor and neacklace and ring. then get a potion that enhaces you smithing by 50%. go smith a daedrik bow. put on all the stuff and drink the potion. the go to the grind stone and you got your self a daedrik bow with 230 damage or around 230
