Gold business is a scam ! when you buy gold you pay normally 4 or 5 times more of the value in origin then when you sell your gold as a private in a shop has a value of a quarter of what you paid.. more SCAM that this !! plus in some parts of Europe where carats in gold are different , they can pay you even less ! 9ct gold is not always accepted in all Europe,18ct gold,14ct are fine, so be careful before spent your money in gold ! it is a good business yes.. if YOU are the jeweller !
Don't scrap antique or nice pieces. You can get a much better price selling on ebay or another similar site quite easily. I hate seeing antique/beautiful items just being melted down. Broken stuff & more modern crap okay. But not the unique stuff.
american dollar isn't worth anything, so you trade your solid substance that will hold value worldwide for some paper if ya want, but not everybody's an idiot,hahaha!
gold is not at a 25 five year high the us dollar is at an all time low. plus the US does not have as much gold as we would like to think it does to back up the ever increasing money being printed.
