Dan, Great work and the best Non Pro built mill I have seen and every bit as good or better than the Pro versions, fantastic work. I hope to see your plans and such soon
maybe instead of a "Swing Mill' Which is a GREAT idea in itself, you could use 2 blades that can very in depth individually to create basically any combination of sizes and twice as fast ?
I'm planning to build another swingmill this winter if my work load is low. Documenting the build with pictures and detailed drawings so it can be built by others is planned. I have some new ideas for simplifying the construction and making operation of the mill faster and more fun to run. Check back for new videos and progress reports. Dan
@SawmillShack This is something that I really need to build! Where can I get enough info to build a swing sawmill? I dont know if I can wait for your step by step info. Thanks,

Great idea, good looking mill. Just a tip the blade needs attention/hammering - you can hear it everytime it leaves the log

Nice choice of going with an induction motor instead of a gas engine. That 10HP induction motor is a lot more powerful.
