  • that was easy and so cute

  • USing Black yarn wasnt such a good idea

  • how are her fingers not cramping holding the yarn and needle like that?

  • Where'd you learn all this from?

  • Comment removed

  • how would you know this is big enough to fit your head

  • One last thing.......there are so many easier ways to make bows. ;) look it up first. ;)

  • Drives me crazy watching people crochet with the yarn like this....no need to wrap the yarn when if you hold it properly you can hook it easily. Just saying. ;) Love her though. ;)

  • I am making my 4th headband!!!!!!! Thank you soooooo much

  • Thanks<3333

  • i just made one of these! i used a different color for the bow. adorable (:

  • LOL! Guest Starring: Happy Hookers

  • by the time I got about 4 rows done for the first part, it had shrunk to half the size it was for the first row. I dont understand :(

  • @KatieMarie03wb -either your stitches are too tight or you are going to the second stitch after the turn of each row.

Count the stitches as you work. If you don't end up with the same amount of stitches, you are missing the first and/or the last stitches.

If you have the right amount, your stitches are too tight. Either work without pulling the yarn as tight or move to a bigger hook after making the chain. I do that because I tend to make tight stitches. Good luck!

  • @tadsgirl should chain one then turn. ;)

  • @mandy230156 - yes, chain at the end of the row. Then turn. However, KatieMarie was saying that her work was getting thinner. So, you have to instruct a beginner "which hole" to go into after the turn. If they go into the first hole directly after the hook, they will not drop the first stitch.

  • you make crocheting cute things sooo easy!!

    thanks! :D

  • @4:38 WALLY

  • Im at the part where you make that really large loop. Which part of the yarn do I cut? haha. Ah, Im scared I'm going to cut the wrong piece!

  • Hey can you make a knitting video? PPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSEEEEEEE

  • i made one! it was so fun, thank you! :)

  • Wen they showed rob was making a snowball I knew a snowball war was on the horizon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • when making the pom pom how do you wrap the yarn around the disks> the hole is so small you cant get a ball of yarn through it. I cant figure out how to do it -I'm having a dah moment!

  • Really good tutorial, but don't use black next time...it's just too hard to see.

  • i miss them..

  • 3:45 best part!

  • Turnd out really nice!

  • i love this ! i made one today =)) btw. you look alot like Katharine McPhee !

  • Can you make a tutorial video of how to Crochet the Wrist Warmers? Or if someone can upload and video.

    Thank You :-)

  • Can you make a tutorial video of how to Crochet the Wrist Warmers? Or if someone can upload and video.

    Thank You :-)

  • thos are HUGE pompoms. and to think mum wanted to buy a "special tool" to make pompoms for like 50 pesos XDD

  • Since I just learned how to crochet from one of your other videos, I can't wait to do this!

  • How many chain stitches do you do for a female head and what kind of yarn is used ? Thanks

  • If anyone is having difficulty with the technical aspect of learning to crochet, and not the pattern that she offered, right here on YouTube there is a wealth of very well lit and easy to follow beginner crochet videos. All you have to do is search; from the slip knot, to slip stitch, single crochet, and double, etc., I would recommend starting in that order if you are a total beginner. There even videos to guide you in buying the necessary supplies such as hooks and yarn. Good luck all!

  • Too bad this otherwise great vid uses black yarn... you can't see the right spaces to insert the hook.

  • can u not crochet from the other side? like crochet the shorter side so u have to crochet more rows but its easier to keep track of

  • i want to make one of these really badly. and your videos are really helpful. but in the beggining, you said it was 62 stitches long. it does not have to be that length right? thats just how big your head it??

  • @123Line321 is not it. my bad.

  • It's pretty unfortunate that black yarn was used for the example, it's very difficult to see the stitches.

  • awesomeness

  • I just started crocheting like 3 months ago. This seems really complicated for everyone, but I love how you made that pompom! P.S. what kind of yarn are you using in this video?

  • Cute!

I made a headband using this tutorial, except I made the pattern different and used a light, dark and medium blue with white. I like it a lot!

    Thanks for making this video!

    ~('-')~

  • I am in love with all of these crochet and other tutorials I have seen. You rock Threadbanger, keep up the fabulous work! =)

  • I agree with Mystic SlvrMoon a lighter color yarn may help viewers see the pattern better. I was hoping you would model the pompom headband so I could see what it looked like on, maybe next time. I enjoy the show. Thank you!

What kind of video camera do you use to shoot Threadbanger? I'm in the market to get one. Any pros and cons you can tell me about the camera you use?

  • Aww. Ive been trying to continue practicing crocheting. I was so happy seen this video and Im pretty sure ill try it. Those things at the end were so cute! I wanted to try a couple of those too, but... to bad you gotta by the patterns :/ Some were pretty expensive. 18$??? Dang... Great ep though! The pom poms were pretty kool too.

  • T.T I cant watch it

  • WOAH! even I can give this a try. Off right now to dig out some wool. THANKS:-)

  • MADE IT and it's seriously cute. My daughter is wearing it. Thanks again.

  • Thank you for this video. I have ripped out two of these in the past few evenings. Love it! thanks!!!

  • i made a mustard yellow with a army camo bow. its awesome. thanks for showing <3

  • ARPIL DRAVEN OMG THAT IS AWESOME YEAH GET HER FAMOUS TB!!! *squee*

  • This headband is a cute idea. The bow and pom poms are wonderful. Though it would have been nice if the yarn was a lighter color so it would be easier to see for those that are just starting out with crochet.

  • Super easy just made one for my 6 yr old 30 stiches accross and not as wide she loves the bow, very rad!! Suggestion would be a guys hat, my husband is asking for a beanie or touque and all the other videos are lame. You guys are awesome love the site and ideas!!!

  • she said 60 ???

how many for a 22 inch head???

  • omg i did one it so cute with da bow ... lol so i just wanted to know if u guys can make some wrist warmers with crocheting or even knit if u can that will be great ........... oh and thanks for da great projects ............ bye

  • omg! pom poms!!! lol. x3

  • I LOVE THE POMS POMS!!!!

  • Rob's gloves are amazing.

I never really knew how to make a pom pom but now I do! It's really simple! Thank you! :)

  • whyever did you not chrochet that in the round?

  • it's easier.

  • The end was adorable!! Thanks for the cute easy crochet project!

  • thanx for showing how to make pom poms!

  • wow...I don't think I've ever seen someone hold their crochet hook that way. interesting

  • Well, it's always fun until someone gets hurts!! :P

You hold your crochet hook so much different than I do-- I wonder if I'm doing it wrong!! oh, well, it works for me and for you too! Merry Christmas, guys, your show is the best!!

  • haha greenman @ 4:39

  • Weaving the tails to attatch pieces is sooooo much easier with a tapestry needle (Why is she attatching pieces with the crochet hook? it takes forever that way)

The bow is cute... there's also lots of crochet flowers that are easy to make that would look so cute on this headband as well!

  • @purplerosez007 I used my hook because that is what I had:)

  • @ThreadBanger - I find a hook to be much faster. Taking the time to find another piece of equipment (tapestry needle), thread it, then finally get to attaching, seems like too much work for me.

  • @ThreadBanger Me too, I have a 3.50 hook. It worked well ?

  • aww I love'em! rob was such a gentle man (even if you got hurt corrine) he refrained from saying a bad word! :-D

  • heehee you can buy these things all over New York...you have to deal with the angry Asian salesmen, but you can get them for cheap if you're persistent.

  • Samsung! I like my washer dryer loud the rhythm helps me sleep.

  • you guys are way to cute ^^ and ty so much for your vids :D

many X mass blessings from The Netherlands

  • happy holidays from colombia

  • they should go out. So cute.

  • @xxEllusxx They're now married. ^.^

  • I added elastic thread to mine for a better fit and it will keep it from stretching out too far and losing its shape

  • Love it!! Thanks!!

    Merry Christmas from Holland!

  • LOVEEEE!

  • they shouldve posted this video earlier, i want those converse booties for my little coz for christmas..a little late now :(

  • you two should go date!!<3

  • thanku so much!!!!! yay!!!!

  • Corinne: Put a nice, big, fat snowball in the freezer. Then when you-know-who isn't looking, put it down his pajamas!

  • Looks like something I can do this weekend to pass the time.

  • Anyway you folks could show us how to crochet a pair of socks?

  • ao I guess the show moved to mondays? lol. I like this headband idea. I think I could probably make that on my knitter too.

  • Corrine was having technical difficulties with her latest project and had said that the episode would be delayed.

  • omg this is going to be my 3rd attempt for the pom poms lol my middle hole keeps being big! haha but trial & error always makes it better to learn :) I Love These Ideas

  • i wanna learn how to make the mad hatter hat sooooooooooo bad

  • Comment removed

  • seriously i saw this today , 4 hours ago, and i finished the headband and hour ago

  • cute snow fight

  • this was great

but i think the yarn couldn't been lighter colour so the viewers could see what you were doing

  • omigosh! i crochet so much! ill post sume pix....later...sometime....next...yea.....i mean week

  • muy bonito gracias por compartir

  • yeah why not just do it in the round? i've taught people to crochet, and the turning part is the hardest part for some. the way you hold your hook and do yarn overs also looks odd. but i guess if it works for you...

  • yeep....I still end up in either a triangle or half a circle -.-

  • Great video!

  • T_T i can't seeee. i always get confused on where i should insert the hook for the stitch

  • you could've used a lighter colored yarn so i can see your stitches...

  • omg i am soooo doing this! thank you guys :D

  • Hey having trouble loading/viewing this video and the previous video due to the new advertisements.

  • THIS IS SOO EASY AND CUTE and just in time yay

  • Ive been looking for a crochet headband tutorial so great video!! It would have been better if you had used a lighter colour wool though as it shows the stitches up better for people that are newer to crochet!

  • If you wanted to teach these guys how to make easy hats/headbands etc. you should just teach these guys how to use a knifty knitter loom. Its super fast and you don't need to know how to crochet hook or use knitting needles.

  • This was very clear - I want to try crochet again without the tears!

  • 5:27 want!

  • thank you!

  • i think you should have used a color other than black because it was hard to see the stitches and all that.

this is a great project, though. I'm gonna try it!

  • thanks for showing us how really helpfuL!!!

make a slipknot!!! cause you know it's better then the band <3hehe Merry Christmas all

  • Good idea with the headband, I have the same style crochet hook except mine's green, also there are tons of scarf and neckwarmer/cowl patterns you can crochet on `crochetpatterncentral

  • omg thank you so much.. i am getting into this and this is a nice project for this yarn that i have... i just need the needle size 10

  • I think any size needle will work without being too different. I bet you can also knit this with relative ease. :D Also, awesome username.

  • I am so frustrated! I really want to crochet, but my fingers won't cooperate. I bought a loom so I can knit & I make hemp jewelry. I think I may be pulling the thread too tight. Anyone got any suggestions for me?

  • i hate how youtube has adds now i only wacth youtube because tv has adds

  • How you made the pom pom, did anyone else make tiny christmas wreaths in school like that?

  • you guys shoulda used white yarn in order for us to see better

  • haha cute idea! love the ending :)

  • LMAO @ the end. You guys are so cute !

Wow, thanks for the patterns and styles.

I never knew your channel had a crochet forum. I'll have to join because I crochet and sell my items as a hobby. :)

    Thanks for sharing :)

  • Really cute... I HATE the feeling of the typical, everyday yarn, but if I can get my hands on some uber soft stuff I'd love to learn how to make this.

... whats the difference between crocheting and knitting?

Also, those are bomb pom poms.

  • Can't you make the beginning chain the width you want, then just do more rows to the length?

    Thanks for the tutorial!!!

  • Can you show how to make the wrist warmers?

  • The wrist warmers are really easy. theres a hundred different ways to do them, but if you want a quick simple way, just crochet a rectangle that is the length you want, and the width to wrap around your forearm. sew up the sides, but leave a 1-1/2 inch hole for your thumb.

  • @kickazzkikki thanks. :)

  • Ugh, rookie mistake of using black yarn to film a crochet/knitting video. Threadbanger is always so professional; I'm suprised.

But yay for promoting yarn and fiber arts, so five starts anyway!

  • @aelievense sorry i just like black a lot. i didn't realize it would be hard to see. btw, we are rookies when it comes to many crafting techniques. especially crocheting:)

  • I usta make pom poms just like that all the time when I was 5. I was like obsessed with them!

  • wow the pom pom trick is brilliant!

  • Does this same pattern work for making a 70" scarf??

    btw... 5:59 = Classic!!!! Love it!!! :^)

  • I'm pretty sure they're just really good friends. Think about it if they where dating and spilt up threadbanger would end....and that would be the most terrible thing to happen :(

  • You didn't make a bad comment or anything, but really, guys, can we leave the speculation alone? I mean, they're real people. Whether they're dating or not, they deserve privacy. They pump out an amazing show almost every week, and that's what we should pay attention to and comment on.

Sorry to be a negative nancy. I just think, if I were in their position, I'd much rather people left it alone.

  • thankss!! :D

  • I'm a knitter and I do the same headband with a contrasting flower. They sell like cakes and they are easy and fun..Thanks, love your channel...You guys are the best..

  • once i learn how to crotchet than i can make the headbands which were tooo cute :)

  • super cute! :D

  • Dear ThreadBanger team, thank you for the tutorials, it made me have an interesting year. Merry Xmas and a happy 2010. Greetings from Ecuador.

  • lol! you two are so cute

  • oh man, you shouldn't have shown me that. Now my house is going to be covered in pom poms.

  • You guys are uber talented! Can't wait to see how u'z bring it for 2010 xx

  • thnaks for telling us how to put it together!i knew how to chrochet the rounds but i didnt know how to put it together.the pompoms were AWESOME tooo

  • thanks Corinne you're great!

  • That is just so awesome. (:

  • aww that was some cute snow fighting action.

  • That was one of your best tutes. I don't know how to crochet and you made it look really easy. VERY cute headband - thanks.

  • i wished you used a different color yarn so we could have seen it better

  • wow, Happy Holiday Threadbanger, thank you

  • You have Inspired me! It does look easy! :) cant wait to make my own! WHOOWHOOOO!

  • haha the pompoms was funny ehhehe my girlfriend is laughing.. i was wanting to learn how to do it hahah Xo we tried a lot of way and this is the best way! haha)

  • This is very cute. I wish I knew how to crochet so I could make those arm warmers. Sooooo cute! Or the lambs hat for me ^_^

  • YES CORINNE DON'T GIVE IN SNOWBALL FIGHTS ARE WAR! lol

  • LOLL OMG im on there XDDD thats so funny...i was like WAAAAT? thank you threadbangers!!! -------8x

  • Using black yarn made it really difficult to see what you were doing. That's my one qualm - however, very cute result!

  • why not just crochet in a circle

forget all that weaving together stuff I mean obviously you still need to weave in the ends but you don't have to take the time to attach he two ends together because there aeen't any

  • Would you send in a vid showing how to crochet in a circle? I would love to learn that!

  • have u heard of tjw1963..u should check out her vids :)

  • she is pretty amazing, I learned how to crochet watching her

  • I'm not really a crocheter myself. I have made a few things but am generally very inexperienced, however to crochet in a circle you would start with a chain, as shown here, only instead of working your way back along it you work back into the first stitch of the chain at the opposite end of what you are working on. Then the one next to it and next to that, etc. if you just keep going you will form a rather nice tube. stop whenever you want and finish like when she did the rectangle. Done!

  • niffty <3 thanks guys.

  • luffed it.

    If only I could crochet...

  • the idea here is to show that it really isn't that difficult to corchet if ou just watch carefully with a hook and some yarn and try to follow along you will probably find that, before you know it, you will have created something perfectly serviceable, maybe even nice. (no one is perfect their first time) Keep going and you will be crocheting up a storm in no time!

  • this was lovely. thank you!

  • awesome!! i might actually make this!

  • luvs it
