Fuck man, if that crash is at 35. mph, I don't want to be in this car, when it crashes. 34 years ago merceds made cars that protected you, in the same tipe of crash, but the speed was 60 mph, and with no airbags. NEVER GONNA BUY A DODGE RAM!

Check out the "Dateline NBC Offset Crash Test 2000 Full Size Pickup Trucks" and see how shitty they were back in 2000. Ford was absolutely horrendous. It wasn't until after that news alert that Ford started building safer F-150s. Dodge's was very bad as well. Toyota's was very good.

The structural integrity of the cabin seemed to be maintained which is supported by the score the truck was given. It got 5 stars for both driver and passenger safety, as did the ford F series crew cab.

I just want to make a comment here that the F-150 will always have the best safty and best frame stability but i will say the new dodges hold up well in the crash test but as far as reliability im curious. Also GM trucks did decent in the crash tests but still the new F-150s and Rams seem to have outdone GM. I applaud you dodge you really achieved something!

Your comment about Ford having the best safety rating is ridiculous. Ford's F-150s had the lowest safety ratings for years for just about any vehicle. In the mid to late 90s F-150 had the lowest crash ratings you could get - marginal. It wasn't until the last half dozen years or so that Ford has taken safety seriously.
