  • I'm not sure whether to laugh at or with the caption that people opposed to censorship (committed their own censorship by having) unplugged the sound system.

The rude, loud and aggressive behavior and claims of a "corporate domination," and "establishment" are reminiscent of the perinially-adolescent anti-government activists for the last 50 years.

Medina was never invited to speak, did not request an opportunity to speak and did not even have the courtesy to confirm that she would attend.

  • @hocndoc

She DID confirm that she would attend ... but was there ONLY to SUPPORT the event !!

  • Who would vote for bail & Obamacare voting Kay?

Who would vote for Rick Perry, his Trans Texas Corridor, or his mandated Merck vaccines for little girls in TX? (He's on the Merck board)

Debra Medina is about freedom, the constitution, and Texas. Time to root back to the constitution.

  • From TAG's director prior to the event:

    From: John Bush

    To: Heather Liggett

    Subject: Re: Jan. 16th Rally

Heather. I love what y'all are doing.

Here is a nullification bills for Texas:

    1. Healthcare - yall have the ball rolling. I love it. ...TAG and would love to work with yall as well. I'm sure everyone we will be down.

Come to our X-Mas party! -

It didn't have to happen this way and they knew Medina would not speak!

  • I agree! I like Medina's support of nullification, but I drove from Corpus Christi for a nullification rally. They should have turned off the microphones after the keynote speaker John Stacy was done. Many people who attended with me are reconsidering their support for Medina after the loutish behavior of SOME of her supporters. Dr. Paul was hurt by this kind of thing in his last bid for election. I hate for that to happen to Debra Medina - she is right on the money on most issues!

  • You must have been devestated when those who are very much a part of the problem rose to the stage to pacify the masses with empty platitudes.

  • devastated*

  • @bluegirlscout At least Medina supporters have a spine

  • @trlckykid I am a Medina supporter, donator, car and yard signs.. This was a hijacked event at the end. Your hostile behavior did not do Medina or the movement any favors. My husband is a police officer and is on the side of the people like most of them are. In your WACked video calling the police rude, Ur slitting all our throats. Ur isolated a group of people (and families) who will uphold the constitution when SHTF.. Ur aggressive behavior hopefully will not damage Medina's chance.

  • @justsayno2socialism Sorry justsayno, we have a great deal of passion in the liberty movement and i'm sure your a loyal patriot and I appreciate it. We obviously have diffrent ideas about the "how" but we agree on the "why" of saving this country. Medina was supposed to speak but the event organizers said no at the last minute so us in the know got a little upset as we have seen the tea parties we started turn into RINO conventions slowly.

  • @trlckykid

NOT TRUE ... get your facts straight ... she was NEVER told she would speak

She was there to SUPPORT the event ... ASK HER !!!!

Actually she was embarrased by the bad behavior of her supporters !! Obviously SHE has more CLASS than SOME of her supporters !!

  • bgs,

If you would drop your support for Debra Medina and give up any hope for a future free from corporate domination at the state and federal level, because some of her more eager supporters wanted to hear her speak, then you are not much of a supporter in the first place.

So what if they shouted yelled? They wanted to hear their candidate, the candidate with nullification as her platform, speak. I heard that she couldn't anyway, but who cares if the crowd gets rowdy when they are told, "no."

  • @FIT

Then let them have their own rally. Hijacking someone else's event is what the crowd screamed at the politicians for to begin with. Bad behavior on the right is no better than bad behavior on the left. When people are trying to learn about a person, they will make judgements based on many things including who their 'friends' are. Debra's 'friends' should want to help her more than hinder her, I would think.

  • @FreeinTX

This was not THEIR event !!! It's called lack of character & class !!! Not much UNlike the liberalistic dems !!

  • Finally, posted my own video of some of the real content of the rally and not just sensationalized irrelevancy that went on after the speeches.

You can see my footage on my youtube site:

    tomsnewsviews.

    Let liberty ring!

    thnx

  • The CFL is made up of diverse groups. As I just said, no doubt all Medina supporters are for nullification but not all those for nullification are Medina supporters. I did not drive ALL THE WAY from Dallas to attend a Medina for Governor rally, nor would I. I may vote for Debra, but her supporters should know their rude, brazen zealotry does their candidate more harm than good. And if Dr. Paul had been there I believe he would say the same.

  • FIrst, a disclaimer: I like Debra Medina and may well vote for her....BUT...I drove from Dallas to Austin for a CFL nullification rally, NOT a Medina for Governor rally, and I deeply resent the Medina people for trying to hijack the rally, causing the close of the rally to be contentious and divisive, instead of the united front all of us standing against the Feds to show to the rest of Texas and the nation. I resent their rudeness and presumptuousness; it was a real turn off and hurt Debra.

  • Mark Levin's facebook page has a discussion about this with a note someone wrote about what happened at the rally. go to facebookdotcomslashmarklevinshow

    and look under discussions.

  • If Medina wins, I'm moving to Texas. I'm confident, yet at the same time saddened, that freedom and free-market capitalism's last stand will be in that state, and I can think of no greater honor than to be in the company of fellow Americans who will hold out until the bitter end.

  • Debra Medina has the establishment cronies running for cover.

    Debra Medina for Governor!

  • Oh man I love being a Texan this honestly brought tears to my eyes

  • I never went to ( Texas ) I heard it's very nice There . And I am gladd that people are waking up & fighting back . Go texas !!!!!! :)

  • I love Texas!!!

  • Time for another revolution people, chase the federal reserve gang out of Dodge.

  • @Texasproud21 I love to be a minority. She's not asking for the support of kikelovers but Americans you turd.

  • @Texasproud21 You have no idea what you are speaking about. What Debra did was sue them to get them to follow THEIR OWN LAWS and THE LAW IN GENERAL... AND GUESS WHAT SHE WON! Debra Supporters WERE DEFINATELY NOT THE MINORITY!

  • EndNeoConsNow,

Medina did not WIN..........she only won not having to pay the Repubs legal fees. She did NOT win the lawsuit. Check YOUR facts. And then she calls the IRS on Kera for not inviting her quickly enough to the debates.......check her fb page, just keep scrolling down and see the post for yourself. It is Medina telling a guy she had already called IRS on them for not inviting her. What a joke, and displays her weapon in public for a video opt. Breaking the law comes to mind.

  • @eaglerun1 nonsense. step out of your emotion driven bias and look at it objectively. What if they were trying to keep your candidate out of these events?

  • Medina supporters were in the MAJORITY. Very few of us who were there didn't support her.

  • Unfortunately you have to run as a Rep or Dem to get elected. And neither party has been acting conservatively or liberally they both should be thrown out

  • There was a Perry supporter there who lambasted Debra for "commandeering" the rally. My thought on it is: where were the Perry and KBH supporters to make their voices heard?

  • @laurie1684 making sure they had the microphone and the speakers so drown out a REAL REVOLUTION, thats where! We have got to get real people to do a rally.. this is insane!

  • laurie,

I knew she would screw it all up. I had heard the chatter. This was NOT HER rally. She had NO right to allow this to happen. This was the people's rally, NOT a stumping rally. She was not offered a mic by the rally for one simple reason. This WAS NOT FOR HER.........Shows you what a jerk she is.

  • Why was Jeff Wentworth allowed to speak then? He wasn't even on the list of speakers. He just showed up after hearing about it on the radio. From the sound of the crowd, many people wanted to hear her speak about nullification and she has a history of being very knowledgeable about it. What's the harm in letting her speak. Why allow a last minute speaker like Wentworth and not Medina?

  • answer to previous question --> Because the establishment is afraid of Medina. They don't want people to hear her because the candidates that are in their pockets (Hutchison and Perry) would lose. It's that simple. Open your eyes.

  • Medina is the only candidate who will go THROUGH with the drawn out Nullification process. Perry is a smooth talker during election year. Debra gets MY vote!

  • Meetup for Medina at all Belo-owned stations Thursday Jan 21... Be there!

  • There was nothing but Medina supporters there, 90% Medina.

  • Great Video
